It's a rather cute little place, with many offerings to entice a visitor to buy something to take back home as a souvenir of their visit to the area. They have a quite decent selection of non-fiction books: on mostly BC-related topics, and always a selection of the latest covering Sasquatch ("Bigfoot") and related topics -- clothing: a very good selection of high-quality, printed t-shirts and sweatshirts, in sizes ranging from baby to adult, designs and colours, from 'fun' to quite beautiful -- and other gifts and souvenirs: keepsakes, tourist, and other 'stuff & such'. This past week's trip and stay to Harrison Hot Springs saw us come back home with another fine t-shirt (to join others, and books purchased there on past trips). Quality products, friendly service, and always well-worth a stop and browse - we really like Serenity Now!!

They said they would hold our items for three months and if not collected, they would throw them out. After not recieving any type of email for two months, my boyfriend drove all the way from abbotsford to this shop to pick up the art that we had created as he wanted to surpise me with it. Once he went into the shop, he dicovered that our art was not there anymore, they had lost it or thrown it out. This is so sad as they were a pretty expensive price as well i would say so. I am so dissapointed as this was something very special for us and it has been completely ruined. So i would reccomend you go to a more professional place where they dont throw away your things and actually email you when your art is ready. I would give this a 0 star review if i could.

They offer classes in knitting, felting, weaving, and spinning, and sell everything you need to do these things. I tried the weaving classes, and it was lots of fun (if you're into that kind of thing). I also like how the products they sell range from affordable to high quality: you can get the plastic needles or the hand carved bamboo. They card their own batts of wool in the back on a huge 100-year old carding machine, which you can buy in giant batts.

Last Fall, I finally came into possession of some 100 year old watercolors, prints and artwork from…read moremy Grandfather. I wanted to honor him by reframing these prints with archival framing so that they would last at least another 100 years!!! I went to several art shops and framers and came across House of Fine Arts here in Abbotsford, BC. The gentlemen there helped me for a long time choosing just the right mats and frames to make the artwork spectacular. I used to do framing myself but these men did the most incredible, exquisite, complementary, professional, and perfect job you could ever ask for. They understood how precious these items were to me! They went above and beyond and even put the screw hooks, backing, wire and wall protectors on the artwork. The cost was average compared to their competition but they gave the service and quality work fitting museum pieces. Five stars is not enough!!!! Thanks guys!!!
