My friends and I came out to Whidbey, coincidentally for a little crafting getaway. We were surprised and pleased by this gem of a shop! By gem, I hope I'm not giving an impression that it is small. It's spacious and has a great selection of well-curated craft supplies (quality brands) and other fun items. We'll be back again next time we are in town. read more

On a hunt for stamps and dies, first Collage came up in my search, but it's been relocated and thankfully just down the block, and it's now Frida's! Some of the selections for stamps and dies are new to me but they do offer many choices from Memory Box, Tonic, Tim Holtz, Staz On, Lawn Fawn... Prices are average to most independent stores. (I didn't see a bargain bin or clearance rack.) Four stars because I would love to see MORE clear stamps and dies. What makes this store unique is they have other gift items. The staff are friendly and offered assistance if I need it. The store is spacious and has a beautiful craft room overlooking the water! It's worth the 30min. Frida's has to be the most creative shop anywhere! Stretch your artistic skills from traditional paper crafting to multi media art pieces. New techniques and products constantly being introduced and explored with fabulous results. I enjoy this shop from afar as I live out of state, but I have learned much and shopped with Naomi often. Great store . I volunteer there. Naomi is the owner and she teachs most of the classes. We are lucky to have a beautiful place to get together made friends and learn different forms of art. There are antiques, home decor items. If you are looking for art supplies for anything from paint for rock painting or for paint pours. Scrapbooking, card making, journaling just come on by.
