Brisket Burnt ends with Cole slaw and cornbread
    Adri M.

Yum!! I got the brisket burnt ends with Cole slaw & cornbread and it was all very good! I do wish they had collard greens on the menu, but the items I ordered were great. Their BBQ sauce is delicious, has a great Smokey flavor.

Came here because me and my fiancé were hungry and in the neighborhood. Me and my fiancé love bbq, so when we stumbled across Struggle town it was a no brainer. I'm happy they open this store front because before this was here it was a pizza spot and the pizza was super mid. Great new establishment for the neighborhood and the bbq was surprisingly really good. My fiancé got a pull pork platter with 2 sides of baked beans and Mac and cheese. Pull pork was flavorful and the sides were decent. I really enjoyed the baked beans but the Mac and cheese was nothing special. I ordered brisket sandwich and the brisket was tender and very good. For the price you really can't go wrong here. I seen slot of complains on yelp from others about the portion size, but for $20 a pull pork plate with 2 sides it's a steal. Overall great staff, great location, and nice new edition to the neighborhood. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.

    Welcome!

There was a time when I had *two* great BBQ spots within driving distance from my home. 2020 is when the world changed and I lost them both. Now, a phoneix rises from the wood ash. Welcome Struggletown BBQ! I know what you're thinking, C'mon, 5 Yelp stars? Yes dammit yes! I had a sandwich called "The Big Tex" made with bark, a few burnt ends and brisket that was dyn-o-mite! My wife & I walk in before superbowl. The counter person says we're sold out, sorry. It smells amazing inside but we bootskoot out and plan our return. Second visit, Friday night, 6:30. We walk in, my wife orders one meat platter with two sides and I ordered "The Big Tex" along with chicken wings. We grab a seat and wait for our Que. My sandwich comes out, look at the craftsmanship. I chose the signature sauce and it's topped with coleslaw. Total banger. The restaurant isn't large, there are a few two top tables. They have a large take out business as people were coming in after us and picking up their orders. It's now 7:30 and someone comes in to place an order. I hear the countereperson say to the customer they are out of BBQ for the night. My take, come early if you want to try this great BBQ!

Everything was fine, but it's terribly expensive. 2 sandwiches and a few sides came out to $75. Too expensive for take out.

Thank you for an incredible experience. He offered the Tuesday special which includes 20 wings, which you can have up to 4 choices of sauces, with large waffle fries. You can't beat that! Great quality chicken wings, cooked to perfection in their BBQ chipotle sauce and buffalo sauce. Sauce to wing ratio was amazing, not too soggy but crispy and juicy wings. We also tried their honey bbq sandwich and Nashville hot chicken. Both highly recommended! The ambiance was great! Made you feel like you were In a man cave, enjoying your favorite food watching your favorite football team! Definitely show some love to Vinny at Atomic wings, it's football season baby! The woman behind the counter was pleasant and amusing with a welcoming smile. It was not particularly busy, as there were a few patrons waiting for pick-up and delivery drivers coming in and out. The restaurant is well laid out between dining area, bar and order counter. In hindsight, I can't say I can think of another Atomic Wings with a bar. I placed my order and was offered a drink while I waited by a wonderfully mustachioed (and bearded!) gentleman. Keep that type of kind service up, I will have to make this a regular haunt! Atomic Wings does the best kind of chicken IMO. No breading, still crisp, not fussy. Their standard blue cheese is often lacking a 'zing', but I've noticed some stores don't use the franchise dressing. My order was for a 10 piece tradition wing, well done with Thai Chili sauce, and blue cheese dressing. My wings didn't get soggy, even with a ten minute drive home. It's because they have vented take out containers! No need for me to crack the box open so air can escape The wings were perfection. Thai chili had the best blend of spicy and sweet. The blue cheese tasted a bit ranch-y but was still quality and enjoyable with chunks of cheese. It wasn't until well after making short work of my wings that I realized there was no celery/carrot included. I wonder if that's because I didn't ask for them, or if they're not offered at this location. Either way, I didn't need them and barely noticed, just a mention of you're into that kind of thing.

Perfectly cooked and exactly as described. My wife had the Foghorn Leghorn, Handmade Southern Fried Chicken Breast, on a Martin's Potato Roll Topped with Lettuce and Mayo, which was delicious. It's a typical sports bar with a large bar area with high top table service and a second table service area off to the side. Plenty of TVs broadcasting area sport games and offering extensive food options: apps, burgers, flatbreads, wings, sliders, quesadillas and sandwiches. There are daily specials as well. Started off either the fried pickle chips and crispy brussel sprout poppers both of which were hot and crispy. Our server Peter was polite and attentive if a little green to the job. Our party stuck with burger selections and I went with the turkey club sandwich all which were very good, were nicely displayed and reasonably priced. I've seen some other reviews commenting on the decor and service and I can say what impressed me was the overall service particularly with the manager who approached every table asking how everything was and even delivered food as well as bussed tables. We had an interesting conversation with Kim 2.0 ( manager) who shared some of the new upcoming promotions and gave us a little history of Alice's. Overall good food reasonably priced and well portioned. The service is good with an engaging and observant manager. They even feature live music. Being a Sport Bar it can get loud especially on game day but that's to be expected. I'll definitely return on one of the promotion dates.
