Ben, Tony, Casper, and others are able to answer any question, on the phone and in person. The Benjamin Moore paints are great quality. In each room, we painted the ceiling, walls, and trim + baseboards. We didn't think the original ceilings were dark nor "dingy," but after seeing the new Benjamin Moore paint, we realized that they were dark and dingy... the Benjamin Moore ceiling paint is nice and bright and makes the room look SO MUCH BETTER! We also painted the walls and baseboards and trim. The baseboard and trim paint is amazing... it's "self-smoothing," which means that while you may see some light brush strokes on the surface shortly after you apply the paint, once you wake in the morning, the surfaces will be so nice and smooth, AND BRIGHT! ...just like the ceilings. When all surfaces are newly painted, you'll feel like you have a whole new house. Flanagan's has all the paint and painting supplies you need. Beyond paint, we also purchased... - an extension pole, which worked incredibly well... I didn't think it would save time compared to standing on the ladder, but I was MUCH quicker with the pole - so nice! - uncounted rollers - new roller so we could roll simultaneously - that little yellow thing to put on the top of the can so you don' have so much wasted paint when you pour from the can into the roller pan - inexpensive and worth every penny and then some - Krud Cutter - AMAZING for removing paint from the hard wood floors and for getting any grit and grime off any surfaces - stove, cabinets, countertops, and also the blinds THANK YOU, Flanagan's, for helping us make our house look so wonderfully nice! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dec., 2020 Review - - - Our daughter's wanted to paint her bedroom for a while and we were able to make the time to finally paint a couple weekends ago. And go over the quotes very carefully. I didn't and on painting day found out what I was expecting was not what the painters had planned. They did work with me and got started. But then needed more money because they needed more paint. Shouldn't the professional know how much paint is required for the job? I spoke to another paint company who was shocked I was asked for more money after they were half way through the job. Do I have the option to say no? Not really, I need the job done. Also the communication between the scheduler and the painting team seems faulty, as I expressed clearly about fragrance allergies causing migraines yet no one seemed to care and arrived with cologne and scented clothing. So 5 star painting please fix that, a migraine is no joke. The photo attached is the "corrected" crown molding ... this wobbly line at the bottom is after I asked it to be redone and it's just getting worse because the guy added more caulk over the mess made before and immediately painted under it. Now I need to hire someone else.
