There was at least 4 painters in my home and the all but one was great! When I called for some corrections to some problems , the one that took all the shortcuts was sent, so my corrections weren't fixed properly. When I asked who was going to come and he told me which one , before I could say please send someone else I was told he is one of my best friends. It only takes one bad apple. He line itemed everything we requested and answered everything we asked. The price was very reasonable. Communication from him and the office for scheduling was great and responsive. They used an easy online system explaining the work and contract. Painters started just a couple weeks after we signed. It took several days to paint 6 rooms with a big basement including ceilings, trim, doors, and walls - it was a big job. They did minor patching with sand to match the original texture. Everything looks great, and I'm a discerning customer. No nickel and diming over small things. The workers were on time everyday and left by the work hours we requested (8am-5pm.) They were super friendly and happily addressed any small concerns we brought up. They explained the plan for the next day before they left so we could plan for locking up our cats. The team was quiet, polite, and never complained. Everything was cleaned up and put back together when they finished. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them if you value a good team and ownership that stand behind their estimates and quality of work. The pictures show some of the work. He was professional and personable, and I felt good about hiring him. Months later, his crew arrived seemingly unaware of the scope of the damage. They initially used materials riddled with large knots and cracks, had to redo the work, and when finished it looked great. I was satisfied. One year later, the siding is pulling away from the house and splitting. The work has failed. I have called, texted, left multiple voicemails, and sent Andrew photos of the damage -- always politely, never once raising my voice or making demands. Every message has been ignored. This is from a company whose website promises "satisfaction guaranteed." What disappoints me most isn't even the siding. It's this: a business owner who is warm and responsive when he wants your money, and then simply vanishes when something goes wrong. Andrew has the video of our original walkthrough. He knows what was agreed to. A simple phone call is all it would have taken to begin making this right. They say you never truly know a contractor until something goes wrong. Now I know. I'd encourage anyone considering this company to think carefully -- because the guarantee on his website is meaningless, and when you need him most, he won't pick up the phone.

This company was apparently sub-contracted by Malone Painting to finish exterior painting on my…read morehouse. We recently realized that they completely missed an entire 3rd floor window. When they painted, they did not put down one drop cloth. Although, thank god, there weren't huge splatters, there are recognizable paint drops on the roofing underneath where they were working. There was no sanding or scraping, they just slapped two coats of paint over 30-year-old peeling paint. And finished within the day. Ugh.
