I would definitely recommend AE Finishing to anyone needing drywall repair or finishing work.

He was polite, responsive, and kept his work area immaculately clean. He was also very COVID conscious which I appreciated, masking at all times and letting us know he was fully vaccinated. We had a family emergency that slowed us down responding to his quote. Once we were ready to schedule, he was able to work us in the next day, starting on a Friday and finishing the following Monday. He kept his work area so clean, and he was very respectful of our home and possessions. My husband was in awe of his workmanship. Aside from the paint color difference, you'd never know the wall had been repaired. It blends perfectly with the original wall. We would absolutely have Aaron back to complete work in our home!

We had Nations scheduled to drywall in a loft above a garage, and their estimate, scheduling, and communication were all great from the start. When they showed up it turned out that there was some miscommunication on the scope of the job, but it was 100% my fault on that front. Nations crew on-site were very understanding and said they would go ahead and get started and we would figure it out if we need to adjust he final price. I also added in a piece of patchwork in the living room from some overheard lighting that was completed the week prior. Nations knocked out the framing and drywall as well as the ceiling patchwork and did all of it within the ordinal deadline. In addition to the ceiling patch, they went above and beyond and took it upon themselves to fill in a small patch above the mantle where the election mis-cut the hole for the recessed media box. They didn't even mention the mantle patch they did for me, which told me they really just did it because they care about the customer, because they absolutely did not need to do that for me. Without a doubt I will be hiring these guys for my future projects, because I know it will be fair priced, done in a timely manner, and they clearly care about the work they complete.

I had an issue with a section of my ceiling (about 2'x2') where the plaster was loose, sagging, and honestly just an eyesore from a previous bad repair. Scott came in, assessed everything thoroughly, and explained exactly what needed to be done in a way that made me feel confident and informed. He removed all the loose material, secured the area properly, sealed everything, and then worked his magic. The re-skim was smooth and seamless, and the sponge-swirled finish he applied matched the rest of my ceiling perfectly--you would never know there had ever been a problem there. What really stood out was Scott's attention to detail and pride in his work. He didn't rush the job, made sure everything was done right, and left the area clean when he was finished. The final result exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for high-quality plaster repair and someone who truly cares about the outcome, ask for Scott--you will not be disappointed. Highly, highly recommend!

Initially, he was good to work with, and I was planning to hire him for several additional projects around my home. Unfortunately, my experience changed after that. When he came back out to look at the additional work, he quoted me nearly double what he had originally discussed and gave the impression that he wasn't interested in taking on the job. He eventually completed the work I hired him for, but when the insulation company arrived, we immediately discovered that part of the job I had already paid for had not been completed. As a result, the insulation crew and I had to finish the remaining work ourselves before the insulation removal could even begin. That was extremely frustrating, especially since I had hired and paid someone to ensure everything was ready beforehand. Based on my experience, I won't be hiring Joe again, and I can't recommend his services to others. I expected the work to be completed correctly the first time, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
