The receptionist was a good first impression of the company. The guy who came out was amazing. I was so impressed by him. He called 2 days in advance and said that he might be able to come out even earlier than the appointment. Score! The day I was scheduled for was rainy. I almost thought they might cancel due to the weather conditions, but nope! My guy called and came out earlier than scheduled (which worked well for me). It was rainy, but without any doubt he pulled out his ladder and got to work. He diagnosed, corrected and filled me in on the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was also just so up-right and friendly!! It was like he were a worker from an idealized 1950s. And even though it was raining and he had other appointments to get to, he offered to give me an estimate on installing gutter guards. He measured every gutter around my house and garage and then got my email so he could send me the formal estimate. It came later that day. Such impressive service! This is one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. After trying to get a bid from Terry Larson for many weeks, he was unresponsive but after writing an honest review about how he would not respond, he contacted me immediately, apologized profusely and promised to help me get my job done. I took the review down as I believed him as he appeared sincere. Terry Larson personally measured my house, dropped of sample boards of siding and sent me a bid the end of June. He told me to inform the insurance company my siding was no longer available. I took care of the insurance company, which took a few months and was able to get the siding approved. I made several attempts to contact Terry Larson to assist him in getting more money than what the insurance company would pay and he completely ignored me - refusing to respond. The owner, Terry Larson, does not honor his word once given and no one answers the phone, responds to messages or calls back. Bryan Hershfeld recommended me to Larson Exteriors as he claimed he was starting to work for them and was getting business cards. He wanted me to give out business cards to my neighbors, which I would have done. I had hired Mr. Hershfeld to do some work on other properties. While he was at my home, he damaged my property then refused to return calls or repair the damages. Terry Larson validated that Bryan Hershfeld was working with him. Zero starts all the way. In response to Terry Larson's response posted 10/11/24: I have extensive experience with construction contractors for 30 years. Terry Larson, Larson Exteriors and Bryan Hershfeld don't appear to realize that running a business requires actually answering the phone, following up, doing what they promise, responding to text messages and emails, detailing their scope of work in writing and being honest with customers. The guy informed us that this is what he does all the time. After that it's just been downhill. We have been very patient, but at this point we have to take the next steps.

I called Coldstream on Monday 6/21 and they came out on Tuesday 6/22 and reseated and attached the loose boards. They did not try to gouge me, (and since I know very little about siding, it was possible to take advantage of me). They made a simple repair and explained the winds associated with the recent storm were unlikely to happen again soon, and replacing boards was not necessary. We called them to investigate & they discovered they forgot to seal/cover a vent cap. They fixed it a few days later and looked at the ceiling damage. There were multiple appointments made for ceiling repair and no one showed up. We took several days off work to meet them. We called several times for updates and no one returned our calls. We corresponded with the owner several times and it still took months to get the ceiling repaired. When they finally repainted the ceiling they did not use tarps, so there were paint speckles over the entire room, on the curtain and on the light shade, and they did not edge. They also replaced the window trim. They left the site without completing the job. We had to call them to let them know they needed to come back to finish. They caulked our window shut. Now the j-channel and siding along several roof-to-wall intersections are significantly warping, buckling, and pulling away from the house. It's doing this on the front and back slopes of my home where the j-channel meets the shingles (see the additional photos I posted). My original review documents all the problems I had working with Stonebridge over the 7-months it took them to finish my project. Three months after the finish date, I'm now having more issues from the work they did. If you want your roof/siding job to go smoothly, be managed properly, and be installed correctly the first time, I highly recommend you look to another company. Although I appreciate Stonebridge standing behind their work, I do not recommend using them due to the poor installation and project management issues I've experienced working with them.
