He did extensive prep work like powerwashing our brick before painting it a beautiful deep shade of blue and even powerwashed the sidewalk in front of our house! He is very detail-oriented, and we have heard multiple compliments on his meticulous work. He kept us in the loop on how everything was going, and we felt his prices for painting our exterior and part of the interior were very reasonable. I highly recommend Brown Painting and Design, and you will be pleased with the outcome of your beautiful, newly painted home.

We had several issues and other work done during the paint job and they recommended a local plasterer that was excellent and worked in their timeframe and also went above and beyond by letting other contractors in during the day and working around some schedules. The care taken on details such on removing hardware, sanding, replacing a light bulb In a vaulted ceiling during the paint process is one of many things that pushes this review so high. The job took about 2 weeks but it was finished as planned with everything exceeding our expectations. I would very highly recommend this small local business not only in Monroe County but the St Louis area.

They gave me a quote to paint and to caulk around all the trim throughout my house. They literally didn't touch one inch of trim. My boyfriend and I had started painting beforehand thinking we'd do it ourselves, but with our busy work schedules it was just being drawn out way too long so we called DMP to come finish it and go over what we'd already done with a slightly different shade of gray. There were some spots that were obviously not repainted with the new paint. Also in their quote they stated they were to go over it with 2 coats, which was also a lie. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the quality (if you can call it that) of the work this company did. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and would steer anyone interested in hiring them in a different direction. Date of work July 2018.
