I hired this company to move me from one upstairs apartment to another at a different complex. 3 young men showed up and did a very great and professional job. They took an appropriate amount of time, not so rushed that something would get broken and not so slow that they were trying to extend their time for pay. They wrapped my large furniture in blankets then plastic and it keeps those pieces from being damaged. Nothing was broken during the move. They were polite and efficient. I would 100% recommend Thomas, JD and Wissem (might've misspelled his name). They did a wonderful job and I could rave about this service more. read more

My husband and I moved to Lubbock from Plainview. Contracting Strong College Students Moving was easy and we had great communication. They called the day before the move to make sure we were ready and to tell us what time they would be at the house. They arrived on time and went through the house and told me how they were going to load the trucks. I have moved several times and these guys took the best care of our furniture and boxes. They wrapped all of our furniture and were very careful with loading and unloading. These are the most polite young men. Their responses were always "Yes ma'am". They are the most disorganized company I have ever seen! I wanted to schedule my move on one day but it was unclear if I could move in that day so I scheduled for a earlier date for the time being. They said to call back in a week if they can move my appointment to the preferred date. So when I did, they said it's ok and I thought that's that. But when I called them again to confirm they said that I am not scheduled for my preferred date but they can still move it to the preferred date. But then they called me again the next day saying that my preferred appointment date is not available. I don't know what's up them. Due to the staff's own incompetence of not organizing made me have a bad experience with them before I can even have the movers come to my residence. Just know they are extremely disorganized moving company. read more

These guys are absolutely phenomenal! I have used them five times for various: Each move is carefully coordinated, and the owner Chris makes sure that everything will go as smooth as possible for you. He has even come to the moving site a few times to make sure that everything is being taken care of. The guys moving are careful and care about your stuff, careful to wrap everything that needs to be, and covering doors with pads. They also lay down a mat so they do not get your floors dirty going in and out. They ask lots of questions to make sure that everything is placed exactly the way you want it. I have used various other moving companies in Lubbock, and must say these guys have been by far the best. They have me as a customer for life! read more

After a week of communication I got a bid from these guys to move me from Midland to Lubbock. I accepted the bid and signed it and sent it back. They confirmed the date and the bid. We made plans and spent money based on their agreement to move us. Then 9 days before our move date they called me and said they couldn't move us because they didn't have the manpower. I called around to other movers but none could move us on the dates we needed and had agreed to with these guys. They literally hung us out to dry. I asked to talk to a manager and was told a manager would call me. I'm still waiting for a manager to call me! Not only did they not honor their agreement..... not only did they leave us hanging.... they didn't even have the integrity and courtesy to have a manager call me. read more

These guys were great! They showed up ready to work !! They had three "strong college students" come load up a house and move it 35 miles away and unload everything. They were able to do the whole job in 4 hours including their drive time. I highly recommend this company. I am also proud of these students who are in fact working and attending college. read more

Let me start off my saying that I absolutely never write reviews...and it has taken me a month to be able to put my frustration into words. First off I was going to purchase a Groupon because I was on a budget, I was talked out of it and ended up having to pay $300 more than I wanted to....thus putting me in a bind financially. Secondly the team that was sent out was anything but pleasant. They showed up, introduced themselves and it went downhill from there. I know it is a tough, physical job but the whole time the 3 guys were gossiping and talking in a way that is probably not a way to talk in front of customers. They also "mentioned" to me multiple times that my furniture was all heavy and they were struggling. I understand I was on the second floor but still, you had my inventory so you knew ahead of time what kind of stuff I needed moved. Thirdly, when they arrived at my new place that was literally across the street it took them 30 minutes to park their truck all because they didn't back into the parking lot which I thought was common sense. At this point I was more than frustrated and then got slapped with a huge bill that I was not prepared for....but I had no want to argue after having been up for over 24 hours and dealing with the stress I had been through already. Then afterwards when unpacking I find they have broken my bookcase and put it in upside down so I wouldn't notice. The bookcase was cheap so I would have understood if I was told....but no I had to find out myself. Moral of the story, I would not recommend this company. I have used other companies in Lubbock that were just as expensive but had much better customer service...and I will make sure to go with them next time I move. read more

Could not have asked for a better experience. It was just myself moving (21 yr old female), and I was moving from Lubbock to Dallas. I ended up being about two hours late to the new apartment. They were totally forgiving and were very nice (even with having to move everything up 3 flights of stairs). It would have been totally stress free if it wasn't my first time moving by myself (which is not their fault). Would definitely recommend. read more

USE THEM if you have a move! Initially I spoke with Chris who gave me all the info I needed to make my decision for my move. During my packing I had mover's panic about not getting everything packed Chris listened then offered a solution. After receiving the promised courtesy call before arrival, they were prompt and friendly upon arrival. They came in, accessed what needed to be done and set right to work. I cannot emphasize how professional, friendly and completely efficient both Chris and David were, especially on unloading. All my belongings were protected and arrived in great shape, furniture was wrapped to prevent bumps. When looking for movers, check these guys out first. If I ever move again I know exactly where I'll go. Plus I really like the fact they work with student schedules and donate a portion of each move to a local scholarship fund. read more

Received excellent service - would definitely recommend. I asked for a couple of guys to help me move things in a storage building on very short notice, less than 24 hours, and they went WAY above and beyond to be available when I needed them. When I spoke to Sean on the phone, he was super polite and helpful, and explained that on short notice he'd need to consult with his manager to find a solution. The manager himself (Chris) ended up coming out to help move our items along with the other mover, Frankie. They were friendly, fast, and took great care with our things.
