Damaged furniture during move . They didn't use moving blankets. They did not want to pay to repair furniture to condition before move.

Soldier Strong Moving - Another successful move & wrap service!

    Soldier Strong Moving

I found Soldier Strong Moving through yelp, asked for a quote and got one from multiple companies,…read moreI chose Soldier Strong moving because moving requires hard work, organization, and discipline, something ALL military people know about - Vince initially contacted me and then Vince communicated with me throughout the planning of the move and provided a very fair quote that he stuck to. The day of the move he sent me a text (my preferred communication) to let me know that they were working and would be arriving soon. When Vince arrived he walked through all of the rooms and did a quick survey, told me the plan, and started working - he and Brandon had the place packed up in about 25 mins. they packed the truck very organized and arranged everything securely, making sure that cushions and mattresses never touched the walls or floor of the inside of the truck. We followed him to the new location and they unloaded the truck very quickly, after the unloading, Vince and Brandon even helped move a few things around to make our next move easier. Will definitely use again - made it so easy to move - and can't imagine a better experience. Let me add - i noticed that below Soldier Strong Moving are 21 other reviews that yelp does not recommend - I'm not sure why, but these reviews all look good, and I AM A REAL PERSON WITH A REAL REVIEW JUST LIKE THESE OTHER PEOPLE - so it's kinda shady that all of these reviews have been moved to 'NOT RECOMMENDED'

This one hurts to write... My wife and I recently relocated to Fort Worth from Lubbock. I found…read moreWild West Moving to help us with loading our U-Haul in Lubbock using a simple Google search. At first, Kenyon was quick to respond to all of my questions and provided me with what seemed to be a fair and reasonable price for loading services. Prior to the move, he asked me to purchase extra moving blankets from U-Haul, which I had no problem buying. However, he failed to mention in his initial quote that he charges $35 per item to disassemble, which I learned the day before my scheduled move. The day of the move, Kenyon arrived somewhat timely (maybe a few minutes late) and asked for a walk through of what we needed his guys to move. We gave him a list of fragile items. In this list, we included a crib, washer and dryer, and a custom dining room set (table and chairs). While Kenyon and his employees were loading those items into the box truck, my wife noticed that they had not wrapped any of the items in the blankets that Kenyon had directed me to purchase. We then asked Kenyon if he was sure those items would be safe, and he assured us that each item would be fine. Upon arrival at our new home, I open the back of the truck to find a shattered mirror, scratches along the sides of our washer and dryer, scraped dining room chairs, a cracked drawer in one of our dressers, and scratches all over the crib. Additionally, we had to replace the washer and dryer hoses as his employee punctured both the hot and cold water hoses when disconnecting the washer and dryer. After discovering the damage and prior to posting this review, I attempted to reach out to Kenyon, but have yet to receive a response. I recommend you go with one of the more reputable moving companies in Lbk. Looking back, my wife and I wish we would have paid the additional $30-$40 to have Little Guys Movers load the truck. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true. Lesson learned. Lastly, I hope this review serves as a learning experience for Kenyon. Ghosting your customers immediately after rendering services is not a sustainable business practice.

I highly recommend Wild West Moving and would hire them again. Communication was excellent and he was very accommodating when I had to push back the scheduled time a bit. They arrived on time, handled our items with care and did an excellent job loading my daughter's furniture and boxes into the U-Haul. The way it was loaded ensured nothing was damaged during my trip.

I've used movers for a total of nine moves since 2006 and I can say - without a doubt - this was…read morethe most unprofessional group of movers I've ever encountered. I asked for a quote online and received a call that Rev7 would come to the house to assess. I mentioned I would be moving a lot of the boxes on my own. I have one bedroom, a refrigerator, w/d, living room furniture, and patio furniture. The man who came to my house stated they charged by the hour and provided me an estimate of over $1000 with 3 movers at 8 hours for a move of 11 miles. Keep in mind this is ONE THIRD of what I paid to move from Fort Worth to Lubbock. I went with them because honestly - no one else was calling me back with quotes for a move. The movers were supposed to arrive at 8:00 am, but didn't show until 8:15 am - remember, I'm paying by the hour. They arrived in a U-Haul and this was the first red flag - I've never used a moving company that didn't have their own trucks/transportation. Less than 30 minutes into the move, I noticed we'd "lost" one of the movers. Turns out he was taking a luxurious @#$%*$ in my bathroom for 10-15 minutes. I get it - when nature calls, you should answer. However, it is respectful if you're a stranger in someone's home to ASK to use the bathroom. Even my own family ASKS out of courtesy. Another mover was rather lackadaisical and wandered around watching videos on his phone unless he was specifically instructed to work on something. I heard him say something about how "this lady has that soft ****" in reference to my bedding (I think), which was rather creepy. One of the things that I felt slowed the move further was the fact that they wrapped a LOT of stuff in plastic. I've had movers do this with dressers and items with drawers so they don't move in transit. I've never had them wrap tables or the handles of my refrigerator that had been removed. Video Guy worked at unscrewing the base of my television for so long I finally told them to forget it, and I would move it. Everything was finally loaded into the U-Haul at 10:57 am to move to the other home - in my experience, with 3 movers and my household contents (especially since I'd moved a great deal of stuff myself and had broken down my king size bed), it should not have taken this long. Once at the new place, Video Guy gets out of the truck and says, "So - everything goes in the garage?" Ummm, no dude. Bedroom stuff goes in the bedroom, kitchen stuff in the..... I had post-its on the walls indicating where things should go, but they didn't pay much attention. My futon was placed backwards, facing a wall. When it was done and time for them to go, I was expecting to pay by card with a card reader or something. Instead, the "leader" told me to "sign or scribble or whatever" my name on three different screens of an old phone - there was no indication as to what I was signing. I asked him how much the move would be and it took him several minutes to give me an answer. He stated I'd get the bill in an email, which I did, though this was another red flag - what legitimate company doesn't use card readers or get payment upon services rendered?? When the email arrived, I replied by outlining all of my complaints. The owner apologized and discounted $113, but this move still ended up costing more than it was worth, especially in relation to the unprofessional staff and length of time of the move. In short, if you'd like a move done right - with professionals and courtesy - go with another business besides Rev7.
