Andrew, Will, Tyler, and Favour, what an incredible group of young Men, they were very respectful not only to my wife and I but to each other. The workshop had lots of equipment, table saw, jointer, planer, very heavy welding table etc., lots of stuff. That move went well and they worked hard all day for two days. We moved into the new house this past week and it went well. One issue - after getting all of the boxes into the house and most of the furniture it started to rain hard. Mark suggested that rather than get the rest of our furniture wet, they could come early the next morning and finish. That was awesome, saved our furniture from getting soaked and we appreciated it. Good job!

Our first experience with a large moving company was horrific. On the phone interview, they asked…read morehow many beds. We told them, but later found out that the box springs wasnt in the quote. So, that woukd have been another day of the move upcharge if i hadnt asked. We cancelled the move . After reading the reviews later, we realized that we would have most likely paid double what they quoted. Now, our happy story. We used Soldier Strong when we moved to Lubbock. We needed help unloading the rental truck and moving furniture inside o. n a 115F day. They unloaded the truck, moved item to the desired rooms, and didnt damage anything. When we needed to move recently, this company was still in business, so we gave them a call. Vince asked for some information and had a quote by the next day. A few days prior, he gave me a courtesy call to make sure we were ready. The day before the scheduked move, we werent quite there and asked if we coukd slide the move 1 day to make sure. He had availability and switched the date (no extra charge). The day of the move, our moving van was involved in an accident, and Vince said he could either hand us off to another company for a move the same day, or slide us one more day and make the inconvenience right. We opted to stick with his company. They did a great job packing the truck so nothing was damaged. The unload was also uneventful. When payment was due, Vince didnt add any upcharges, and stuck with our agreed upon price. I suspect i could have asked for a larger discount, but he stuck to his word, and that means a lot these days. And.....just because you can get something for less doesnt mean its right to do it. When we discussed "making it right", I agreed that the price was fair, so i have to stick to my word as well.

We did not have to pay for their mistake.) Ultimately, the new doors were ordered and installed correctly after several more weeks. BUT this is because our project had their best contractor/installer (Anthony) on it. Anthony did a fantastic job, and was apologetic for all the issues (obviously, he personally had nothing to apologize for - but his employer does). The local supervisor/foreman quit the same day he visited with the new installer, and realized the measurements were incorrect. The installer (nor us) had any idea the foreman was about to quit (after abt. 4 months on the job); but he inherited all the problems. At no point during this time, did anyone from Pella management (in Dallas) bother to contact us, provide more context, or just as a basic courtesy. They were entirely hands-off, leaving all the issue to the local office, which is apparently in bad shape. To Pella North Texas: SHAME ON YOU. This is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. 100% Stand-up for your product/service. Don't just leave your employees/crew and customers blowing in the wind. To Pella Corporate: If your associates who operate at the local level can't get their act together, then perhaps you should consider pulling your license/sales agreements... assuming you care about your brand. Case in point: We will never do business with Pella (any location) ever again.
