I ordered extra fabric, but by the time it came I only had two weeks, and the alterations place recommended by the bridal shop was not able to get the dress fixed and made comments about my weight when I went in. After crying, I found Perfect Fit on Yelp and called. They had the dress ready in a week, and it was beautiful. The ladies (and the doggie) made me feel lovely and welcome and were so kind. In 2015, when I was planning my wedding (six weeks of planning, so it was short), I knew there was only one place I wanted to go for alterations. Again, they had my dress perfect in one week. And again, I felt lovely. I'll have to find a better photo to add of the dress, but I've included one photo now. I don't even live in St. Louis anymore, but I will probably go back to have future alterations done here.

She was very honest with me about all that would be to be done and advised that it would cost over $100 to alter, and that even after all that, the dress may not lay properly and may end up not looking perfect. She urged me to do my best to find a dress in a smaller size and suggested which size she thought I should buy. She assured me that I still had time to think it over and told me to go home with the dress and come back later. She could have just taken on the project and taken the money, but she didn't do that. I frantically searched for a ready made dress that matched the color and fabric of the dress I already had and luckily was able to find one. Since she had been so honest with me, blunt, even, I trusted her. So, I went to her again with the new dress. Yelena was spot on with the dress size she suggested and she said it would only be a simple fix to alter the dress (and therefore SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper). The job was done in one week and it was perfect! I'll definitely recommend her to others and bring any other complicated issues to her for her honest assessment and expert opinion.

Thankfully I was referred Chris who did an amazing job, quickly, and was so reasonable!! I've since referred all of my friends and soon to be brides here and will come back. Not only did she make me feel totally comfortable but also did an amazing job. She's also so fun and personable -- it was the experience that I was looking for. The services in the photo (for reference) were to take in the waist of the skirt, add sleeves, and hem what was probably 10 layers of fabric while reserving the train/fullness.

She gets done with my order then calls me and says that I still owed her. Long story short I paid it again to get my things then left. I tried taking my CC statement back to them but again...alot of back and forth. That was the first issue... This time...I dropped off 2 pair of Jeans to be altered on Wednsday with her BF telling me to come back Saturday and they would be ready. So I pay ahead of time and this time I got my reciept along with PAID on the stub. I come back on Saturday only to find out my jeans havent even been touched yet and blamed it on having to go to the phone store and spend 5 hours. So she hurried up and grabbed them and did them while I waited. All I needed done was to have the jeans length taken up 2 inches. Well...she got one right!!! One pair are just fine while the other pair were cut so short they can now pass for Capri pants!!! Basically ruining a brand new pair of jeans. So not only am I out the money to have them altered...Im also out the money for the jeans as well with NO CHANCE of ever being refunded because it wasnt her fault( as she always says). THEN while there waiting to get my order done,another female customer came in and because somebody moved in the store their dog( a Chiuaua) started barking/snarling at myself and another person with the excuse given ( oh hes trying to protect her) FROM WHAT??? NOTHING HAPPENED!!! I have severe PTSD as did the other male customer that was there as we are both combat vets...I got triggered so bad that I had to leave before things escalated. Needless to say if its not one thing with this place its another and is NEVER EVER their fault. I think its time to find another seamstress. I asked for a copy of the ticket which was met with "we don't do that". I found that odd but ok. I went at 3:30 Friday and the woman working initially could not find it. Her: Are you sure you didn't drop it off somewhere else Me: Positive it was here After a while she went through the stack of tickets and found the one for this jacket. Her: We'll at least now I know it's real but I still do not know where it is. She finally finds it, but not pressed. Me: OK I'll wait while someone presses it Her: Our presser is gone for the day She still made me pay the $15.00 even though they had not done the job. I get it home and guess what; the stains are still there Net - not done when promised - customer service was crazy bad - not pressed - stains not removed If there was a way to rate this place zero stars I'd do it. Excellent job was ready in 24hrs and fixed one thing I noticed after trying on right then and there to my content. 10/10 recommend and will use them again!
