Was looking to get a couple of patches sewn on to a leather vest. I called first to find out if…read morethey could do it, I was told yes they could bring it in. I got there and the lady asked if I was "A Harley" (She thinks it is a specific club) ( Yes Im aware of the Harley Owners Group) however I told her that I was not "A Harley" I ride a Honda.. "Honda Yes but not a Harley?" she says.. I explained that Harleys are just a brand of motorcycle.. "Oh Ok" So I showed her the patches and where I wanted them. They were 4 military uniform patches a little smaller than a baseball. And I asked how much. She told me it would be $50 because its leather. Thats fine she is free to come up with her pricing as she sees fit. It IS Leather not the easiest to sew through. I joked around with her that at most rides where there are vendors they charge about $5 per patch for the size patches I have. And she responded with "Well I think maybe you should go to them" I laigh and appreciate her honesty... then as I collect my things from the table and get ready to leave she says "If you were "A Harley" (Still believinga Harley was a type of person) I wouldve done it for $20, cause they are not so tight" (Tight with the $) and that is what threw me.. again I must ask why is it that people WITH money always seems to not need it? They get everything thrown at them or discounted for no other reason than they have more of it to throw around? Now dont get me wrong after hearing her prices I would not have returned there anyhow.. but after her little comment about my not being "A Harley" I will definitlly not be returning. If Only I were a Motorcycle...

The quality of service at King's is fantastic. I'd taken several pairs of jeans to be hemmed, a few…read morepieces for zipper replacement, as well as other pieces with other objectives. The tailor is thorough and does a well-executed job. She isn't dirt cheap, no, but as the old adage goes: you get what you pay for. Her alterations are such that you'd never know they were done and are as strong and sturdy as the factory finished piece was prior to. That's the point and the sign of a good tailor. On top of that, she's quick and finishes pieces in a very timely manner. I recommend folks to King's all the time. She's worth every penny.

I dropped it off to her on Thursday, 10/9/25, explaining that I was flying out of the country for the wedding the following Wednesday. She accepted the job and assured me that my blazer would be ready on Saturday, 10/11/25, by 12:00 pm, She explained that she was closed on that following Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of the following week. On Saturday, about a quarter til 12:00 PM, I arrived at the store to discover that the lights were off with no one present. I waited over an hour and made numerous attempts to contact her directly. I called several times, leaving voice messages and text messages, but received no response for over 2 weeks. In summary, I did not receive my blazer for my daughter's special day. I was forced to find something else to wear which was an added stressor for my daughter and family. Today, over two weeks since I dropped my blazer off, I contacted Erika, who finally answered the phone. She informed me that due to limited parking and her inability to walk, the store was closed on Saturday. She never took accountability for failing to reach out to me, only mentioning that she had not checked her messages. She cavalierly mentioned that I could collect the blazer today and pay full price because she "completed the job". With business practices such as this, you might want to consider another seamstress; someone who is accountable for their work and fulfills the job on or before the agreed upon date. Erika displayed a complete lack of communication, unsuitable follow-up, unprofessionalism and inconsideration.

I came in with plenty of clothes I said if it was too much I told them I'd gladly take them and go somewhere else with it they said no it was okay. First thing they were late each time I was supposed to come pick them up and gave me attitude for wanting my clothes when they said they would be done. And also didn't have the decency to tell me so I wasted gas driving up there. Secondly they didn't finish everything when I picked them up so I had to bring them back and ask them to finish some stuff. And that took another week. Third, there was a shirt made out of a weird material and I had said once again if you don't think you can do it it's okay I can bring it somewhere else. Not being disrespectful or anything just trying to be genuine and understanding. But she said she will try and walks away to return to the customer she was with, and right in front of me laughs about me and they say something on the lines of how I think they can work miracles. When that's not what I was doing at all. But I left, waited a week and came back (again they where late) and they lady says to try the items on so I go put the first outfit on and came out and kinda pointed out that the stitching was lop sided and wasn't even. She said "I see what your talking about, but now your nit picking." .... ( they put darts into the shirt by the armpits, one was I. The middle of my boob, and the other was below my boob on my rib cage.) I just grabbed my stuff and left. I didn't even wanna talk after that how do you see what I'm talking about but I'm nit picking these are the clothes I have to wear not you. And I'm willing to pay for you to do a good job and you didn't. I paid over $300 easily on the work they did for me and it wasn't a good job. There was multiple not just one reason I won't come back. I can deal with a lot but not this. I'll get it fixed somewhere else with someone that actually cares about their job. Not someone just trying to take money and give a doable job.
