We had originally called another company (that advertises obnoxiously here - couldn't escape their ads). When we called, they were all booked up for weeks. I decided to look on Google maps to find other guides nearby. So glad we did!!! "Adventure Texoma" (not to be confused with another place with a very similar name!) popped up. Mark answered the phone, had availability when we wanted to book, and said we'd be with Randy. Easy-peasy. We showed up with our $12 Lake Texoma fishing licenses (acquired in town), and Randy supplied everything thing we needed to fish! We had 6 poles in the water for the most part, and lost count of fish, but it's tied over a dozen a piece! My husband also caught a good sized catfish (our largest fish of the day)! I also caught a freshwater drum, and the largest striper of the day! We agreed to call it a draw. Decided to catch and release them all. Probably should have kept one of the bigger stripers. Nevertheless, what a fun and fulfilling day! We we comfortable, and Randy is an easy guy to talk to. Thanks for everything!

He was not only a great instructor and guide, but he was very fun and we enjoyed our time with him! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We went on a wagon ride and saw all sorts neat animals and learned about them from the guide. We rented fishing poles ($5) and went fishing in the stocked pond. We played with young antelopes, found turtles, and hunted for frogs and snails. We jumped in a canoe and paddled around the small lake. Stand up boards, kayaks and peddle boats are also available (unfortunately the peddle boats were out of commission today). We played sand volleyball, badminton, shuffleboard and horse shoes. Face painting, bounce houses and snacks all available too. A few more games were up on the deck as well as ducklings to pet. A wonderful way to spend the day with the family. We'll definitely be back!

Very well maintained park , nice concrete pathway for walking & jogging. Saw many people who came early morning for fishing. It's a huge layout so didn't feel rushed every one was enjoying walking or jogging at their own pace. Ample seats for taking breaks or enjoying nature. The weather was cold and windy and thought it was going to be miserable. Fortunately we dressed appropriately and Capt. Stephen even provided us with some rain gear for an added level of warmth and protection. True to form, we arrived our first morning and Capt. Stephen had already been there for hours prepping to ensure we were ready to try and find some fish. Like the first trip he set off and strategically started working the lake.. Its amazing to watch how much effort he puts into trying to ensure you have the best experience. Both days that we fished we all limited out, stayed dry and warm and most importantly had a fantastic time. Working now to schedule our 3rd trip this upcoming spring with Capt. Foster. Our ragtag racing team included Bruce and Trudy's sons, Rob and Greg + a rotating volunteer from our home church, Trinity Presbyterian Church in Denton. Apparently, from certain times of the year, the sailing vessels known as Valiant Yachts produces various forms of sailing vessels, which are often shipped to every place in the world. I worked on the foredeck, raising the colorful and elegant spinnakers for sailing quite fast pointing down wind. I love the local scene of rural communities in the north Texas and Oklahoma region and the culture of our farmers and ranchers who cultivate their cash crops and send to the local markets in Denton, Dallas, Fort Worth and mid-cities. They have really nice nearby cabins along the peninsula where we stayed. There's a lot to do for the entire family, trail running, hiking, fishing etc. Plus it is a short drive up north offering the "we are not in DFW" vibe. It is worth checking out for sure!

Great story's and conversation was never a dual moment... we caught a ton of fish a few smalls ones and then they got bigger and more frequent. I'm not sure how many we caught... sense there were so many. I would say 50-60 white bass and smallmouth bass etc. hook a couple of real fighters and two broke the line. We used the lighter tackle that for a fishermen made it even better! People we all don't experience the same trip on different days. We booked the tour and my wife, my two young daughters and I had an EXCELLENT time. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations. I am not an experienced fisherman - neither is my wife nor daughters, yet Captain Zach made the experience fun for us all. We ALL caught fish and we ALL enjoyed our time out on the lake with Captain Zack. There was not much traffic on the lake since we went out on a Monday morning and we easily caught more than 50 bass between the four of us.
