The studio is clean and…read moreconveniently located right off San Marcos Blvd. Make sure to park in the back (make a left at Better Buzz and another at the next stop sign after) to make sure you dont get trapped in the parking lot from the coffee drive through. I've gone to a number of instructors' classes and I've generally liked them all! They all have different styles and means of teaching but still follow classical Pilates principles. Some have more difficult classes even at the same class level than others, so definitely try a few different instructors to see whose style you enjoy best. Some of my favorites are Stephanie, Laura and Thalia. The studio super big which is great when you're in there, but does make it occasionally hard to get into classes. They do have a 12-hour cancellation window prior to class, and spots will typically open up if you waitlist. I haven't had that much trouble getting into afternoon classes. They offer monthly memberships and very occasionally have packages. I personally prefer the class packages for more flexibility but it seems rare that they have them. They dont always advertise it in the app, and I often find out from their instagram. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Pilates studio!

Update 6/5: The studio director stepped in and resolved the issue, and my balance has been…read moreconfirmed as $0. My last class attendance was Friday, May 8 (I attended only two classes in May), and I had already paid $250 for the month. I appreciate the studio helping me get this corrected, but the cancellation process was still frustrating; my renewal date was 5/22, and although I attempted to call to cancel, I did not receive a clear response until I sent an email. With so many new studios opening up, it also makes me pause and ask whether this membership is priced appropriately for the flexibility and cancellation experience.

This morning, I ran out the door and didn't realize I was wearing my house slippers until I got there. Vanessa was at the front desk and I told her what happened. Her and I were the same size and she lent me her workout shoes that were in her car! I was beyond grateful that she would offer. Leah, the instructor, was attentive to me the entire class. She made sure I felt comfortable and had good form. She was energetic and encouraging! I didn't bring my child this time around but I love the set up of the childcare. There is a window there that I can peak into if I wanted to check on my son. Overall, I'm thrilled to have found this. My entire class of 40ish people was women and there were modifications mentioned for pregnant and postpartum women. Seems like a great community and I'm excited to be apart of it.

Maybe it was because it was a Lagree class, but still don't know how different all the classes are. I'm looking forward to the next class to take here! Lots of parking in a shopping plaza near Pavilions.

We pulled up to the gate and the police turned on their flashers! When I asked the park attendant why, they irritatedly said 'tell it to them', pointing at the police. As we pulled around to stop, the female attendant shrieked and pointed at us, as if we were criminals! The officers were literally sitting in their vehicle, WAITING for this to occur, because it is ILLEGAL to turn LEFT here, even though you are IN THE LEFT TURN LANE, with a GREEN arrow directing you to TURN LEFT! I was astonished at this absurd intersection and the way it MISDIRECTS drivers! I protested to the officer, who said there was a sign posted earlier in the median which stipulated 'U Turn ONLY' (NOT above the traffic light where it might actually have been seen)! I indicated I had NEVER encountered a left turn green arrow at an intersection, with an available roadway, where you were NOT allowed to turn LEFT ON A LEFT GREEN ARROW. I indicated that the generally accepted understanding across the USA is that if you are in the LEFT turn lane, and you get a left green arrow, you turn LEFT! I asked the officer to issue a warning only, he said he could not, it was 'zero tolerance' due to the volume of accidents at this intersection going into South Carlsbad State Beah Park! Their CONFLICTING traffic directions at this intersection is CAUSING these 'accidents'! And there will be more! Now I have fines, possible points on my license. TOURISTS BEWARE! This is a racket! It is also DANGEROUS!

She had the opportunity to make the varsity team for her senior year of HS, but quit because SoCal took away her joy for the game. This is due to always mixing bad players with good players, so the bad players can improve (if possible) and stay with the club longer. This meant losing the majority of their tournaments due to sh!tty players. When SoCal has tryouts, it's not to make a team of your skill level; it's so they can know which teams to put the bad players on. The mix is like 40% bad to the rest of the Team. Yeah, losing all the time due to bad players does not make for a good experience.
