I have been to Affronti Fitness over a year now. I am very happy when I leave. Which is probably…read morepretty good. When I'm there I feel like I'm in hell! I will tell you a few things about Austyn Affronti. It was obvious to me immediately that he is a very serious young man, and he shows it by giving complete attention to those he is working with. You may assume that all physical trainer should do that, and you are right but it doesn't always work out the way it should. Austyn wants a great foundation, and what I mean by that is that he wants you to work perfectly so you will accomplish the most without potentially hurting yourself. I have now worked out as I said four times. In many businesses in the very beginning the person (The salesman) that's showing the form service is perfect but eventually some become lazy once they feel they've made the sale. So far I have noticed nothing but perfection. I hope I am right, I will let you know either way in the future. In addition I explained to Austyn I wanted to lose weight. Austyn created a menu for me. Time will tell how it works. But, if you look at the photographs you can see a major difference between people he has worked out with in the past showing before and after. More so those are real pictures, it is obvious these pictures are accurate and honest. They show pictures of before and now now. The pictures also show men and women young and older. There's a good chance hopefully before stars will become five. If another couple months it continues I definitely would go five. Yelp people we all love to eat. We also like to be healthy and look good. Try Affronti may work well for you too.

One great way to try out some local businesses is to win gift certificates at fundraising events…read morelike I did for 585Fitness. The pandemic took a real toll on my fitness routine and I knew I needed to try something different if I wanted to start feeling better again, so I took a shot on winning 6 personal training sessions with these guys. I was blown away immediately by the upbeat, encouraging attitudes of each team member who acknowledged that I was struggling but also made it clear that we were going to work hard and work together to get me back to where I wanted to be. I finished out my trial 6-pack of sessions and loved them so much that I decided to purchase more to keep going! My sessions are 30 minutes each of intense and challenging guided exercises with healthy doses of "atta girl"s and very good music for a soundtrack. It's a solid 30 minute commute for me to get here but it's so worth it. They also offer nutrition training and total health coaching. If you're looking to do something good for your body, give these guys a call!

I was having way too much fun just eating and barely getting outside. Having a safe way to work out during the pandemic plus getting a killer workout in is seriously so clutch for my overall physical and mental health as winter nears. The workouts are always challenging but fun. I find myself getting stronger each week. I admire Rob's positive and encouraging approach. He keeps you MOVING and really packs in lots of different movements during each session. Getting a personal trainer truly maximizes your time and is such an efficient way to work out. Each time I end a session with Rob I learn a little more about fitness and my own health. He challenges you during your time with him and your time away from him to make healthier decisions. Super excited to continue my journey here and so happy I found this gem in Rochester!

They offer a variety of classes and even have a reasonably priced two-week pass for newcomers to try different options. I don't come as often as I used to because I live in the city, and it's not just a quick drive. I was more active with Breathe when they had locations in College Town and at Hutchinson House on East Avenue. That said, it's worth the trip--I take a restorative yoga class with a sound bath here, and so far, it's the only place in the area that offers this as a regular class. The space is lovely, with a great selection of gifts, books, clothing, and more. Parking can be a bit frustrating, as the lot behind the building sometimes fills up, and street parking may be necessary.

I attended during an event and I asked if there was anything I can have other than a black coffee and listed my allergies. No cows milk, cashew milk, soy milk options. The staff member offered to remove certain ingredients and they sanitize everything before my order would be made. That is way more than I expected. The yoga offered was a gentle beginner yoga. I have been to many yoga classes and would have labeled it a beginner moving to intermediate. It included long pose hold times, balance, and vinyasas. The instructors are great. Patient and offer modifications. They really promote inclusiveness and do what your body needs.

I give 1 star for the instructors who teach the group classes. But that's it. I have been going to…read morethe RAC for women since May 2017 and I'm already counting the days until my membership is over. Thinking about paying it out or just signing up for a new gym until this one runs out. Here are my grievances: 1. They offer these "Power 30" classes you have to buy beyond your membership to utilize. They are actually pretty nice classes but expensive. The issue is these classes take place in the free weight room (arguably the busiest weight room of the gym) during BUSY hours. That means all us mere muggles must push off and work out some place else (why am I paying for a gym membership when I can't access the equipment?!). 2. If you want morning classes, get up at 5am or forget about it. How hard is it to offer a 6:30 or 7am yoga class? They only offer Power 30 in the morning when people want classes, so basically you can only utilize the prime hours and area of the gym if you pay more money. 3. Be prepared to receive lesser treatment from the staff if you are not paying more money for either Power 30 or personal training. Be prepared to be kicked off equipment so they can use it for their purposes. It has happened to me several times! Today a trainer was working with a woman, watched me use the pully machine as part of my exercise circuit. Walked up and took my attachments off, changed the weight, and used the machine for 10+ minutes when I only had one circuit left to do. The girl she was training even felt bad and I heard her say "I really don't mind walking to the other weight room," to which the trainer replied "No, we're staying right here" as she took my attachments off. Just rude!! Couldn't even ask if I was done using the equipment. 4. The free two meetings with a "personal trainer" they offer you are garbage. They set everyone who comes in up with almost the exact same plan. The girl who set my plan up was so miserable, she obviously hated working there and didn't care if I came back to the gym ever again. She doesn't work there any more (so much for helping me keep on track). If you want any useful help you have to pay for a personal trainer. 5. If you walk in and someone asks if you know anyone who wants to join, just say NO or she will text your personal phone trying to pressure you into referring your friends. There is no benefit to throwing your friends under the bus. They don't give you a free power 30 or a free month or anything if one of your friends sign up from your reference. And trust me, you do NOT want your friends going here! The only thing that I don't hate about this gym are the instructors. Susan and Jodi are both fantastic instructors and I love their yoga classes. I will miss them when I leave.

I am then stopped by a 125lb trainer, saying I cannot workout without one of the staff trainers, even advanced lifters cannot. He asked for me to stop warming up and wait 5 mins and he will "guide me through my workout" lol I was dumb founded...I have trained at numerous gyms all around the country and never ran into this before. I end up waiting close to 15 mins...I pack up and leave. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Now I respect how their business is run...but would have been nice to have known on the phone...or when I signed the waiver.... what is the point of the waiver now? If I get hurt under his supervision, I should be able to hold him accountable..... Many lifters do not need guidance through workouts...let alone being "trained" by someone who does not even look like they lift...I would not take advice from any of the trainers there....look the part at least. Need to get a workout in??? Go elsewhere sad thing is, this "gym" is very well equipped...all goes to waste

There's a diverse set of trainers that offer classes of traditional boxing, kickboxing, and kettlebells with their own special twist. Here are some downsides that I hope they will improve on with expansion/growth of the business: 1) Having refreshments for sale 2) Small space- limited bag availability for crowded classes. You'll want to avoid taking bags near the pillars or mirror wall 3) They have free weights and a cable gym, not much more for other workouts 4) Very limited space for using the jump rope. You'll have to do it outside 5) No real changing room- just a bathroom.
