Jackie's Cardio Sculpt is literally the BEST exercise class I've ever taken. Nina is so sweet in remembering everyone's names and is always finding new ways to challenge us in 1.5s. Courtney's Suspend classes are awesome. And Allie's Center and Balance are perfect for a gentle restore mid-week. I've found the classes to be the right mix of pushing you to give your all, but flexible to match your specific ability. There are always options given to make a particular move easier/more challenging and this is truly a no judgement zone. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and genders are welcomed with open arms. I was extremely intimidated the first time I came, but that quickly went away when Sophia assured me I would love it (she was right!). If you're on the fence, give it a try.

But someone didn't sit right with me. I scrolled Instagram later on that day and saw a pilates instructor post their flow. IT WAS THE EXACT SAME FLOW SANDY HAD US DO. I looked through the following and sure enough, Sandy follows this creator. Sandy completely took another instructor's flow, cue for cue. This makes me wonder what her training was like. If she can't create her own class flows, what is she even doing as an instructor?

I am extremely disappointed with the way Orangetheory handles its membership cancellation process…read more Back in May, I requested to cancel my membership because I knew I would be out of the country for several months. I was told that management would be able to handle everything over the phone and that someone would call me. That call never came. While I was away, I discovered that I had still been charged for July. When I called to resolve the issue, I was told that cancellations had to be done in person, despite what I had originally been told. Today I came into the studio and explained the entire situation to Hannah, who introduced herself as the manager. She assured me that because I had already been charged in July, I would not be charged again on my next billing date (August 14). Based on that assurance, I signed the cancellation form and left. About an hour later, Hannah called me back and completely changed what she had told me. She informed me that I would still be responsible for paying for another full month, despite her earlier promise that I would not be charged. I am leaving again in just a few days and will not even be in the country to use those classes. Charging a customer for services they cannot use after repeatedly providing incorrect information is incredibly frustrating and feels unfair. This entire experience has shown a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and customer care. Instead of working with a long-time member who made every effort to cancel in advance, Orangetheory chose to hide behind its policies while giving inconsistent information along the way. Do yourself a favor and find a fitness studio that values its members, treats them with courtesy, and doesn't look for every opportunity to squeeze another month's payment out of them.

The instructors walk around and correct your form if you're not doing the exercise correctly to prevent injuries. There's lots of modifications to try where you get the same results. I'm 30 classes in and always look forward to the next class. While they work the same muscle groups, each class differs just enough to keep things interesting!
