I responded to the text noting that the excessive amount of phone calls in such a short period was not appropriate or a good way to gain business and did not receive a reply (but the phone calls did stop, which means the text was likely read and there was simply no reasonable excuse that could be made for four phone calls in a two minute period). I have not visited this location and it may very well be amazing - but I'll be finding a different studio to join after today's display of how potential future members are hounded to schedule their first class.

The membership policies are antiquated and very inflexible. I often would be in class and could hear the staff on calls or speaking in the front reception or in the back room. Waitlists for the best instructors do not clear despite what you are told before you join. As others have said, I too was inexplicably bumped from my last class credit and then told because I had cancelled membership (i'm currently not working so needed to take a break) that they will not reinstate the credit. I am glad I had the courage to call the studio. The manager, Vianca was so nice and patient, encouraging and informative! I started with the 8 pack per month and by week 3 I upgraded to unlimited monthly package! The classes are amazing, low impact but pushes your body to its limits and you use every muscle. Its a different type of workout and fits my strengths and needs! It has been the best thing I have done in years and I've noticed a great difference in my body and attitude. The studio is in a great location - Northvale, NJ is right in the middle of NY/NY (Bergan and Rockland County). The studio is spacious with plenty of reformers and super clean!
