The tanning bed has been out of order, and staff have openly said there are no plans to fix it because it's too expensive. That alone feels misleading. On top of that, the cleanliness has gone downhill. The cleaning towelettes that members are supposed to use to wipe down equipment are frequently empty and not restocked. As a result, people just stop cleaning machines, and the gym becomes noticeably unsanitary. What's frustrating is that staff don't seem to address it. Most of the time they're at the front desk talking instead of maintaining the floor or making sure supplies are available. I tried to handle this the right way and spoke calmly with management about canceling since the services I signed up for are no longer being provided. I was told nothing could be done and that notes would be added saying I refused cancellation paperwork, which isn't accurate. Overall, this feels like a gym that's cutting corners while still charging full price. If you're considering joining, I would strongly recommend looking at other options.

A Transformative Pilates Experience with Maria at Club Pilates Longmont!…read more I can't say enough great things about Club Pilates in Longmont, especially about the incredible instructor Maria! From the moment class began, Maria exuded a warm, professional energy that immediately put everyone at ease. Her guidance was spot-on -- she provided clear, thoughtful cues that helped me really connect with each movement, and consistently reminded us to focus on our breath work, which made a huge difference in how I felt during and after class. The workout itself was the perfect balance -- challenging yet totally achievable. I left feeling stronger, more grounded, and completely invigorated. Maria has a gift for making everyone feel supported, regardless of experience level. Her attention to detail and encouraging style pushed me to go just a little further, without ever feeling overwhelmed. I signed up via Class Pass and when I arrived I had a bike assigned with base metrics and a Stages account which monitors your RPMs, distance, effort and sends you a summary email at the end of class. But that's not it! During class you can see your performance on the board if you are in blue, red, yellow or green. So helpful to know if you are pushing yourself hard enough at the right times. It really motivates you to improve, get the most out of your work out and most importantly...to come back! Great instructors who truly make class engaging. Zack's videos during concert classes are super fun! State of the art equipment, great trainers and good location make this an easy 5 star!

I did an introductory lesson for cycling with my mom. To be honest, I hated it. But I just don't think cycling is for me! If you like cycling, they have tons of updated bikes, a clean space, and good TV monitors. I was more interested in the fitness class portion. I did the $49 introductory month rate for new students and tried the Thursday night HIIT class. I was hooked! I only go once a week (for now) but I'll for sure be going - at least until July when I get married. A lot of the same women go to the class, so it becomes more comfortable as you go more. It's not a judgmental or stressful atmosphere, I'm out of shape and go slower than the other girls but I never feel bad about it. They have tons of equipment and the instructor is really awesome. I always feel accomplished after the workouts and they are always explained really well.

The issue I have is with the select idiots who come into the gym in the late afternoon and evening and do nothing but stand around and flap their gums, thereby ruining the atmosphere and taking up space on machines which could otherwise be used by those who actually want to....ya know.....work out! Why these same people come into a gym every day to stand around and talk (about some of the most inane things imaginable) is beyond me. Go to a bar and yap, you idiots! The rest of us are there to actually do some exercise!

This place is an absolute dump. This is not a "club" at all. It is a hole in the wall, meathead gym…read morerun by sophmores in high school who can't even acknowledge the members coming or going half the time. Don't be fooled by the name. Just because it is owned by the same people who own the LAC, doesn't make it a club. These two locations have absolutely nothing in common. If you're looking to workout on dilapidated equipment with a bunch of smelly, groaning, grunting idiots who like to bang, throw and drop their weights, you've come to the right place. The upkeep of the equipment is a total joke. Half of the treadmills skip and need to be tuned up. The other half are from 1986 and are as pleasant to run on as a cracked sidewalk. The dumbbells are bent and the weights they hold are falling apart. The laminate floors in the aerobic/spin room are split and slide when you step on them. Pathetic. It looks like a six year old with one arm and no fingers installed them. The floor in the weight room usually has weights cluttered everywhere and in some spots, it is not even level! Rather than resolve the issue, someone put masking tape down to create what I think was meant to be a warning. The mirrors around the gym are filthy, covered in spit and are never clean. The water fountain has been broken for months, it runs by itself. That is kind of nice though because this way you don't have to touch the unsanitary handle. Only thing positive I have to say about this place is that it's got 24 hour access for anyone off the street to utilize for free. Just get a friend with a membership to let you in or enter as someone is leaving! I would guess a majority of the people who are using this gym after 8pm (when the teenager at the desk finishes their homework and goes home), don't even have memberships. It's no wonder this place sucks. Why would anyone who doesn't pay for use of something actually respect it? I've wasted enough time on this review. If you are reading this and see the pics and still want to pay dues for this dump, I've got a nice used car on bricks for sale you'll probably like too.

I tried a couple of other options in the Longmont/Boulder area briefly, and then I tried Sol 19. This studio is in a different league than the others. Upon entering you are greeted warmly by both the friendly staff, and the inviting interior layout and decor. There is melodic, softly energetic music playing. A diffuser gently releases aromatic essential oil in a soft white column. Art on display is both complementary and genuinely interesting. There is a lounge area off to the right, and a small selection of exactly the retail goods you might need in such a situation. The locker rooms are clean. The students are pleasant and convivial. The studio offers many types of yoga classes other than hot, and I've enjoyed a few of the other flavors in my time here, but the hot class is what keeps me coming back. It's this crazy beautiful sweat-soaked jewel of a class, an elated relaxation, an ecstatic escape from the depravity and chaos of my daily life, a moment of heart-pounding bliss that I look forward to all day. Tam and her talented team instructors guide you through each session with a balanced blend of encouragement, compassion, and technical tips just when you need them the most. I leave each day feeling better than the day before, and I'm so grateful that this place came into my life.

We've…read moretried out a few kids tennis lessons and coaches in different surrounding cities, but Gonzo Tennis Academy is the BEST. Why? Because for my 5 year old and 7 year old kids, they get bored easily and act up, but Coach Gonzo and his brother Coach Diego are FUN and get the kids hitting! My 5 and 7 year old kids have dramatically improved with their technique in the 1 session we've been here and they always wind up laughing so much during their lesson. They talk to the side line parents for quick 10 second tips and advice during the lesson. Everything is broken down for the kids and easy to understand. We've had "tough guy" coaching techniques before, and they just aren't appropriate for this young age...usually my kids get discouraged with that kind of coach attitude. I travel all the way from Broomfield to Longmont because it's totally worth it and very reasonable prices for (non-member) tennis lessons. Oh, and did I mention lessons are *inside* a tennis bubble? Our last tennis session at Broomfield Tennis and Swim club was outside and we often had to cancel lessons due to poor weather, and I just didn't have the time to make up the lessons on alternative days. That, and my kids just hated the Colorado cold and windy days. They mentally gave up on playing before the lesson. We can play all year long and my boys don't have a huge lull between seasons. It's really the best overall place for little kid tennis lessons! Just don't take my 2 spots from my boys, okay? ;D
