How they modify the exercises for ALL members is the best part. For me, they give me suggestions to make them more challenging. For others, they'll have them lower the weights and do lower impact exercises to accommodate injuries and level of experience. Every workout is different, which keeps things interesting. The program is motivating and I can honestly say I get in just as good of a workout in 45 minutes here as I would in 1.5 hours on my own in a weight room. It's fast paced, but doable for everyone. The space itself is organized and clean. The members I've met are all friendly and the coaches are encouraging. This isn't an in-your-face bootcamp style gym. No intimidation tactics here! I can't recommend Foundry Fitness enough to anyone who wants to change up their boring, old workout routine or needs an extra kick in the butt.

Alex (the owner) is my trainer now - I work out with him 3 times per week. He is among the most knowledgeable professionals in the business! In my two months with RedZone, i have seen my neck and shoulder pain disappear through a very focused training regimen. Alex also works with my Physical Therapist to tailor workouts to my needs! I would highly recommend RedZone fitness for either one-on-one personal training, their bootcamps, or any other service they would provide.

Alex is unquestionably one of those rare trainers who understand both the psychological and practical aspects of training. He is quick to tune into the personalities of his clients and push/encourage them accordingly, and he isn't rigid in his training approach -- if you want to skip or modify an exercise, he is happy to adjust the workout. His compliments are genuine, and he never judges you for failing to finish an exercise, resting, or confessing to a bad week of eating. Finally, I enjoy the style of the workouts he provides for me. Lots of creative exercises and new twists, yet all very functional. And because his exercises tend to utilize multiple muscle groups, they provide a full-body workout -- you definitely get your cardio in addition to strength training, which is great for anyone who is crunched for time!

Easy to talk to and also felt comfortable to be quiet, my haircut left me speechless, it was beautiful. Pros: -the changing rooms are outfitted with lockers, toiletries, changing stall, showers, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and swimsuit drying machines -awesome indoor and outdoor pools, with a water slide, lots of padded chairs, and pool bar -day passes and guest passes available.. You can also use the gym if you get a LifeSpa service that day -several options to get food, protein, etc if you need that -staff was friendly -towel service Cons:- I was overcharged for my tab at the pool, signage said $8 for Mango Cart but I paid like $12+tip -$200+ per month is just not in my price range -the number of weight machines seemed low compared to everything else, I went at 1pm on a Tuesday so I can only imagine how long I'd have to wait after 5pm. Some things only had 2 of that machine, I expect more for the money paid.

I was looking forward to relaxing my muscles and taking advantage of this amenity. Before I joined, Diana gave me a tour of all three floors and explained that there are four recovery rooms. She told me that if I wanted to use one of the recovery chairs, I could simply wait outside the room for the next available chair, and that each session is limited to 15 minutes per person. The Recovery Room was one of the features that most interested me when deciding to become a member. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. There were no clear instructions regarding how the waiting process works, and no staff member was present at the Recovery Room front desk to assist members. As a result, people were able to cut in line easily, making the process feel unfair. When I needed assistance, I was told to go all the way to the main front desk on the first floor, which was inconvenient and frustrating. In the end, I was unable to use a recovery chair despite waiting, and the overall experience left me very disappointed. I would appreciate it if Life Time could review and improve the management of this area by providing clear instructions, a fair queuing system, and better staff oversight. These improvements would help ensure that all members can enjoy the facilities fairly and have a positive experience.

When you try to cancel, they charge you an additional $109 and you also lose all the credits you already paid for. In other words, even if you don't use the service, they still take your money. They are not clear or honest from the beginning. They rely on hidden terms and fine print to get more money out of you. Very poor service and zero transparency. I do not recommend it at all.

She's one of my favorite instructors and after taking over 1500+ classes, I think I can now discern the different strengths of the Club Pilates instructors. I hope she continues to sub when her busy schedule allows. What I love about the Gaithersburg Club Pilates are the sheer variety and number of classes that they offer. The instructors are also top notch. My go to instructors are Claire and Ana. Claire because she always incorporates classical Pilates movements and her classes go fast but controlled and you get such a complete workout. She also is a stickler about ensuring that your lower abdominal and other rarely used muscles are always always engaged. And as such she makes us do spring training on the reformer where often times we use the lowest tension spring so that we work on our deep muscles. Ana is the other instructor I take classes from. Her classes are so much fun. She is always changing up her routines and they are so challenging. She's a former dancer and in her cardio sculpt class we get to dance a bit with low pound weights her while she works our arms and booty!

I've been to this studio for over a year and I've taken a lot of their classes on different days and with different teachers. I've been able to find a few classes that I enjoy that fit with my schedule. I started at this studio when I first began my yoga practice. The beginner class (really, beginner plus) with Rachel on Wednesdays is the class I started with and is a fav of mine across all studios I've frequented. I also really like the Sunday morning class with Gaby. I recently took the Advanced Yogi Playtime class taught by Rachel, and it is the class I look forward to most! It's on Tuesday nights.

My first Opus class was with Sharon, the owner, who is experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, warm and lots of fun. Her emphasis on alignment and personal attention hooked me. At first, I was reluctant to take classes from anyone else because she was such a perfect fit, yet, after a while, I did try other teachers (some trained by Sharon) and found that there were many skilled teachers at Opus. With Sharon's expert leadership, she has hired and set the tone for a well rounded group of people teaching varied styles, types and levels of yoga practice. It's a small welcoming studio - well worth a thirty minute drive from my home.

I've always loved Orange Theory and used to go 2-4 times a week in California. When I moved to…read moreMaryland, I started my membership back up after a few year break hoping I'd get back into it. Sadly though the studio was farther and my schedule didn't line up. When my card expired, I told them to pause or cancel, figuring they couldn't charge so I was done for now. But the they called and said I owe for the month my card expired *and* the next month because of a 30-day cancellation policy--plus they threatened collections if I didn't come in to pay and cancel officially. Yes, I should've canceled sooner and I bet they have contracts and policies. But after years of being such a loyal advocate telling everyone how great it is and loving it myself , I would have appreciated a little flexibility. Maybe paying only one month when I was ready to cancel and bending the rule for me. I know they can they have specials all the time. Instead, they wouldn't budge, leaving a bad taste after so many positive experiences. If you're thinking of canceling, don't wait--do it right away or you'll pay for extra months. It's disappointing that a company I once loved would treat a loyal customer this way. Sadly, I don't think I'll be going back to this location if I ever want to go back.

Sounds like I'm not the only one to say beware of extra charges according to other reviews…read more I was visiting from another location and used one of my passes to take a class at this location. I am aware that my location is typically lower on pricing so there could be an up-charge, however, I am used to being notified of any charges that I would occur when I am checking in to a new location for the first time. The front desk person was cheerful, however, when she asked me for a credit card to just keep on file there was no mention of any charges I would incur and said no charges would be made, it was just to ensure a card was on file for future use. Apparently future used meant immediately after my class without notification. I don't remember who the coach was, but she was just OK. I understand most OT classes these days don't typically use the rower as much as they used to or at least that's what it seems. I always like to start on the tread or rower to get my heart rate up and get the most bang for my buck out of my OT workout. I don't know why they have you start on a rower or only to mention that you will be getting off a minute or two later and starting on the floor. It would be nice to know that when you sign up for your starting position before class starts. Once I noticed this, I mentioned I would prefer to switch to the tread, but the coach told me to proceed with the group I signed with and to go to the floor even though they were open treads. I've always had rather good experiences at any location I've been to as I travel a lot and like to check out gyms in other locations... So I will say this was a first to be disappointed by OT. If you're local, I'm sure it's fine... If you're traveling, I would maybe try a different location or at least beware that you will probably be charged without notification for whatever they decide that day.
