We recently moved and starting going to this location. This I a brand new club that opened about a…read moremonth ago. So, really hard to be a bad location with all of the brand new equipment. The layout is a bit strange compared to other Planet Fitnesses. The dumb bells are at the front of the gym. Just "feels" a bit strange, but no real issues here. This is a high ceiling with very bright lighting which is really nice. Only concerns are the parking lot is a bit dark for the 4AM club. I have not seen any strange activity, but would like more lighting for safety. Also, trash cans in the club are limited or just spaced out really strange. They don't seem to be in convenient locations for all of the equipment. All in all, this is a good location and we will continue to use. Thanks PF!

Otherwise this is a newer location with decent equipment, though there is some waiting for machines while people take long phone breaks. This is not the first location with hot water and handicap shower size issues. In my travels across the USA, these issues are not uncommon. Rarely do we see managers to speak with, as suggested last time I Yelped about a location. The Planet Fitness app no longer provides a feedback option, so Yelp it is!

I do want to leave a little feedback, however. I paid $200/mo for me and my mom. The location was convenient but we still struggled to make it in with the schedule and not being open in the evenings and weekends. When the location change occurred, that made it most likely impossible. I reached out via email multiple times to discuss cancelling or changing the plan. After a couple weeks with no response, I reached out again. When I finally got a call, I had to reiterate multiple times that I had no ability or intention to come to the new location to discuss it in person. If I could do this, I would've done it to begin with. When that message was finally received, the owner agreed to switch our plan but I'd still be charged $200 again since it was so late in the month. I told her that that this was beyond my control since I'd reached out much earlier in the month to resolve this and that I didn't want to be charged again. She said that she'd check into it and follow up via email. That was two weeks ago, a new billing cycle has occurred, and I've not heard a word. I'm glad that I called the bank to stop payment. In this economy, who can afford to keep paying hundreds for a membership they're not using. All of the customers should've been offered to end contracts once the location moved across town.
