TLDR: Do it, sign up, invest in yourself. You won't regret it and you'll reap even more benefits…read morethan you imagined. After moving to the Cedar Park area and about 1.5 years of lackluster workouts given the pandemic, my husband and I knew we needed something radically different. In the past, we'd been Class Pass members and really enjoyed spin and Pilates classes, but we'd stopped seeing changes in our body and knew we needed more. After some quick research (the Yelp/Google/Facebook reviews speak for themselves), we signed up for a consultation with Eugene. The consultation was free and straightforward: he took measurements, learned about our priorities, educated us about the programs offered, and at the end we even tried a free bootcamp class. Needless to say, after that class, we were hooked and ended up committing to a 3 month semi-private training program. The program was challenging (in the best ways) and we always felt supported. Infinit8 has everything you need to succeed: an easy to use app that guides you through the nutrition component, exercises routines that build on each other until one day you wake up, and realize how strong you are, and, of course, the in-gym classes (semi-private and bootcamp) that always surprise and delight you. I felt supported, understood, and seen. Coming in 3-4 times a week, I looked forward the amazing community feeling and the instructors always cheering us on. The emphasis on correct form also blew my mind -- safety is paramount here and it shows. We learned so much about ourselves and our bodies in just one summer. I lost ~13lbs in 3 months and over 6% body fat, which for someone 5'2 is a lot. What's even more important, is that my mental health and happiness has also improved, as well as my confidence. My husband's goal were radically different, he wanted to stay around the same weight while losing body fat and getting more toned and he nailed those too. Lastly, this was a great value. We paid ~$300 a month for nutritional + fitness coaching + access to all classes + the support of incredible humans. Honestly, the program pays for itself once you realize how far you'll go. Eugene was our main champion, but we also worked with Ben, Farrah, and Teresa and they were all fantastic and professional.

Y'all, this gym, Eugene, and his coaching staff are AMAZING. The other people I train with are so awesome, and the vibe is so positive. The warm, welcoming environment is inclusive, upbeat and makes working out the best part of the day. Whatever your goals are, Eugene is there to help you whether you're 30 and in great shape or 70 and want to get/stay strong and active. I'm a chonky middle-aged woman who likes to lift heavy, and never once have I ever felt judged for my size or uncomfortable in any way. If you're looking for a gym, I highly recommend Infint8. Sign up now, thank me later.

You totally max out your muscles until you quite literally can't do anymore. And then sometimes, you want to hurl. And often, extremely foul words fly out of my mouth while working out with her. Actually, this morning, as I was doing leg press I think I said "Dang. I sound like a dude" because I did. You know, the big burly dudes at the gym who grunt and sound weird. Me, this morning. I have seen pretty cool results from this. I do weights once a week with her. You heard me - once a week! And my muscles stay really nicely toned. Now, you have to eat right, and do some cardio too, this isn't a magic workout that suddenly gives you a perfect body, but especially if you're a female, building muscle mass is very important. This is a way to do that without spending hours at the gym, or even having a gym membership for that matter. But you also can't be a big wimp and quit. Gotta trust the trainers and push yourself. I lovehate it. But I keep going back so I guess the love wins. Oh and they will work you out for free the first time. So if you're just curious, you can try it out and see what you think. I know, I sound like an ad for this place, but I really think it's good stuff and I feel great about myself when I see that I'm doing more weight, or going longer on a certain machine. And I love that little muscle that runs from my shoulder down my arm that is all nicely defined now!

We…read moreuse the club consistently, follow the policies, and pay a significant amount each month for what is marketed as a premium experience. There are many things I genuinely appreciate about Life Time, particularly the instructors, who have consistently been one of the strongest parts of the club. Unfortunately, my experience with Kids Academy has become increasingly disappointing, and an interaction today brought several longstanding concerns to a head. First, policies need to be communicated and enforced consistently. When something is permitted one day and prohibited the next--or seems to depend on which employee is working--it becomes very difficult for members to understand what is actually expected of them. I am completely willing to follow the rules. I simply expect those rules to be clear, consistent, and communicated respectfully. More concerning was the manner in which my children and I were spoken to today. My children are also members of this club, and regardless of a disagreement or policy issue, I expect employees working with children to communicate with them respectfully. I was extremely disappointed by the tone and demeanor used toward them. This experience is especially troubling because I have already had concerns about what I have personally observed in Kids Academy over time. I have repeatedly seen very young children crying or visibly distressed for extended periods, ignored and wandering desperately seeking caregiver attention, and interactions that, in my opinion, lack the warmth, patience, and attentiveness I would expect from a childcare environment, the lack of genuine care for the children is appalling. This is not up to standard- particularly those associated with what should be a premium family membership. I recognize that this is gym childcare and not a preschool, and my expectations reflect that distinction. However, basic attentiveness, kindness, appropriate supervision, and respectful communication with children should not be considered premium amenities. They should be the minimum standard. There are certainly kind employees in Kids Academy, including some of the younger staff members who have been wonderful with my children. My concern is not intended as a blanket criticism of every person working there. It is that the overall quality and consistency of the childcare experience does not seem aligned with the standard Life Time promotes elsewhere in the club. My children are older and are able to communicate clearly with me about their experiences and advocate for themselves. Based solely on what I have personally observed, I would NOT leave a very young child who cannot yet communicate independently. I don't expect perfection, and one unpleasant interaction would not ordinarily cause me to reconsider a membership I have and one I would like to maintain. But when inconsistent policies, poor customer service, and concerns about the environment in which members' children are being cared for begin to form a pattern, it deserves attention. Life Time charges a premium price and presents itself as a premium club. I believe it is reasonable for members to expect the quality, professionalism, and customer service in Kids Academy to reflect that same standard. After today's experience, I am genuinely questioning whether the value of our membership continues to justify the cost.

They offer Olympic -style weight lifting, athletic training as well as high intensity workouts. When is the last time you worked out in a sandbox or ran on turf grass or had someone harnessed to you? The exercises here are varied so the workouts are much more interesting. The instructors are hands-on, friendly and very fit--think Olympic athletes. The classes are small so when you are here, there is a sense of genuine camaraderie among the group. Each class is also modified to meet your needs, you work to your best and the instructors will be there to guide and push you. My favorite of their classes is the HIT IT, which combines strength and conditioning and high-intensity all in 1 short hour. The class is fast paced and I always feel greatly sore when I leave.
