I have been to several places that offer acai bowls, and Main Squeeze in Alameda does a great job!…read more Of course, the place could use more seating, but I'm okay with taking my bowl to-go. I was there on a warm Sunday, just to try their acai bowls. There's four acai bowls on the menu board, so I asked the gentleman behind the counter....."which is the best acai bowl?" With confidence, he said...."the Oasis Bowl." He likes the Oasis Bowl because it features seasonal fruit. That means the recipe and taste experience can change with the seasons. When I was there, the seasonal fruit was pineapple. This place makes a good acai bowl. For $13.00, it's not overflowing with fruit toppings. Instead, it's packed with fresh fruit, crispy granola, chia seeds, honey and coconut flakes on top of a acai base. It's definitely a meal, not a fruit bowl snack. The interior is very clean. It has a small outdoor patio. According to signage, there's no indoor seating. Main Squeeze is located near the Park Street Downtown. It's walking distance from the Alameda Theatre, public parking lot, and Alameda High School.

The person who took my order also made my order, there was one other person in the store while I was there so I was able to get in and out quickly.

San Francisco has microclimates and some days it can be sunny and the next day it can be cloudy…read moreduring the Summer months. When it comes to taste in drink and food it can be somewhat similar to the weather in SF. One day it can be sweet as an Angel food cake and then it can turn sour like a lemon drop. There is a place on Telegraph in Berkeley which has good tropical drinks and food which feels like you are by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii. It offers poke and lemonades and it's called The Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade. On a Summer stroll on Telegraph in Berkeley I landed at Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade. Inside there is some seating. I wanted something refreshing to eat on a hot day so I got the Masago Salmon Poke Bowl. It came with the Hawaiian version of caviar bumps and I added a few extra sauces. The Poke was fresh and tasty and the sauces did not drown the bowl. There were many varieties of lemonades like the Blue Hawaii Lemonade , Ginger Pineapple Lemonade, Mango Colada Lemonade and the Watermelon Basil Lemonade. I decided to try Classic Lemonade in a Mason jar. I expecting it to be sour like some on my social media feed. It was not too sweet and very refreshing with good flavor. I could drink a bucket of it. They also deliver using the Fantuan ( not purple rice treat) app. Do yourself a favor on a hot day and grab some lemonade at Wow Wow. You owe it to yourself. Some days get so hot and you want to take more than one "shower"come to a place which also help birth the Summer of Love and don't forget the "flower "located about three blocks away from "Sather Tower "so go to Wow Wow and grab something sweet and something kind of "sour" Less than a month of Summer before it's "gone"go to a place which sells Hawaiian food lemonade and you can eat it on Telegraph or order delivery on "Fantuan "it's a food delivery app not the purple rice burrito from "Taiwan "that wraps it up for this review from the cool" Don Juan"

Also I will say the bowl was a okay size, pretty filling but overpriced at 13.00. The staff were nice, service was good. I saw a few chairs to sit and eat as well.
