I love that business friendly pizza truck. They are truly working professionals and pack an array of options. Easy to work with. I give them 2 thumbs up ! We booked em for a family event, and so did my coworkers for a wedding. Cute, clean mobile kitchen. read more

Streetza Pizza - That's one of the owners on the right ! - Food Trucks Near Me

Street-za is a pizza mobile with a passion for fresh ingredients, inventive za's, and a penchant for changing locations. Sure, they hang around Juneau and Water Streets a lot, and you can find them this summer at Jazz on the Park on Thursday nights. But you best follow them on Twitter or via their website. Luckily I happened past Bay View's Humboldt Park where they'll be taking up residency every Tuesday night during the summer music festival "Chill on the Hill". From their website (and description they wrote on Yelp) I can tell they are passionate about their work. I couldn't believe how unbelievably humble and friendly they were as well. The specialty pizza of the night was a poblano sauce, mexican cheese, chicken and poblano pie, but I went for the pepperoni since I had to feed a crowd that poblano might not satisfy. (But I so wanted the poblano!) The crust is a great happy medium between thick and thin, the sweet sauce seemed to have a mystery herb in it: my bandmates guessed basil, I guessed rosemary. Tell me what it was! All me mates and our studio engineer gave it a thumbs up! Street-Za, say hi to your newest follower, @Nachos! read more

GF options! We had Streetza at my work this week and I messaged them ahead of time to see if they had gluten free options and they did. The GF pizza was made special for me and was so good!! They did let me know there is gluten containing food in the truck but they use a separate pan to cook and separate utensils. It was a safe experience for me (non celiac/gluten ataxia). read more

I like food trucks. I like pizza. I've had Streetza Pizza twice, and while I think it's a pretty darn good value for a meal, it hasn't yet knocked my socks off. The crust on their pie was ok with a decent crunch to the bottom of it although it was thicker than I typically prefer. I like a cracker thin crust. The sausage did not have a great flavor and the texture of it was a little spongy for my taste. The tomato sauce tasted like canned tomato paste, although the slice itself was a pretty good size for $4. On my most recent visit when they were at the Westown Farmers Market, the young lady taking orders was not particularly friendly. So far I say it's OK food at an event, but I wouldn't be chasing down the truck. read more

Two words - GRAYSON SCHMITZ Yep, I have revealed my Chef crush and had the opportunity to visit the Street-Za truck for the Top Chef Grayson pizza event at Verlo. And, a great picture of me and Grayson too! The truck is cool looking with some nice adverts for The Great Food Truck Race. While I have heard many great things about the food truck, I just had to be here to meet Grayson. The pizzas that the Streetza and Grayson came together to show-off were out of this world. Sex in the Mouth Pizza - OMG OMG OMG! Yes, that name describes EXACTLY what was going on. I thought I had a favorite pizza, but this one just knocked it on its ass! (Béchamel sauce topped with emmentaler and gruyere cheese, pancetta, caramelized onion and caraway seeds.) Grayson - you are a genius! Like a Meatball Pizza - Red sauce, béchamel sauce, meatballs, roasted cherry tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms and Togarashi. Topped with fontina, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Wow once again! I could live off of this! Streetza, you have been on my to-do list for a long time and I'll be looking for you again to have everything else on the menu!! read more

We ate from the food truck in Humboldt Park. The garlic bread was very good. Crunchy and garlicky goodness. I haven't had the whole menu, but the pepperoni pizza was very good as well. The crust was crispy and the slices were large. One of the better pies I have had in Milwaukee, and the best food truck food O have had here. All in all the prices were good ($4 a slice), the food was great, and the community experience of being at a Halloween event made them wonderful. I will be looking for the Streetza truck next time! read more

Oh my gosh! 10 out of 10! My husband and I just had Scott and his crew with Street-za at our wedding this past weekend and we could not say more amazing things about the experience. First Scott squeezed in the most romantic sidewalk food tasting and then really brought the show at our wedding. Our guests are still talking about it two days later and every one kept coming up to me at the wedding raving about the delicious pizza!! Our day was made so special with the awesome food experience and we can't thank Scott enough! read more

My husband and I got married in Milwaukee, and neither of our families are from here -- nor are most of our friends. As such, it was important to us to show our families and wedding party a Mil-rockin'-good-time at the rehearsal dinner. We wanted to showcase some local flavor, and a friend recommended looking into Streetza's catering. We ended up contacting Streetza for more info, and Scott was super helpful and easy to work with. Streetza served up a few different types of pizza, along with salad and a combination of cookies and cupcakes for dessert. Because they're mobile and came to us (instead of booking exclusively with one venue), we were also able to provide our own beverages, which was another awesome way for us to show off Milwaukee's liquid menu. Scott arrived early, set everything up, stepped out to give the event some privacy, and returned later to clean everything up. Super simple and delicious. Our guests loved it, and we've since recommended Streetza to fellow wedding and event planners. Plus, it was a great way to have tasty food without breaking the bank -- they offer different packages at different price points depending on what you're looking for. We'd definitely consider Streetza again for future events. read more

Typically when I am going to go to a place I read the yelp reviews first. When I saw those 1 star votes I was thinking "Ok guys! Take it easy!" it can't be that bad. It is. Let's go into why. I think John nailed it with the DiGiorno comparison. That is exactly what you are getting crust wise. The toppings didn't taste fresh to me. In fact while I was eating it, the chicken (Slice of the day) reminded me of those frozen gas station burritos. You can tell by taste that it's lower quality. The sauce was the first thing i noticed and for my personal tastes it wasn't good either. This leaves the cheese and bacon for the last two things to consider. When i make pizzas at home I find a lot of flavor in the cheese. If it's a motz/provolone blend, straight motz or even a little cheddar intermixed I am easily getting far more flavor here. It was a bit bland. The only thing I was getting from the bacon was saltiness. No real bacon flavor. Now is this because I just made sandwiches yesterday with some apple wood smoked higher end bacon? I should taste bacon right? The crust was a nice brown. It was evenly brown and didn't have any areas of charring which I do like. It was that awkward in between of thick and thin which i don't care for. It was $4. I could have walked down third street to Brick 3 for a wider selection, slightly cheaper (depends) slice and overall better by the slice product. I could compare this to any pizza joint out there and I could always recommend something else. Papa Murphy's has a better crust thickness and just about anywhere else has better overall flavor. I can't rate this 2 stars because "meh" in my eyes means that in a pinch I could go back. I'd rather not. When you see one food truck there is usually another one close by. Try something else even if you don't know what it is and no one can vouch for it. This to me is a bigger slice of gas station pizza with a slightly better crust. Customer Service was extremely bare bones minimum. I'll be honest I'd rather get a slice anywhere else. read more

I have seen the Streetza truck around the city, but never bothered to stop and try it out. Saw them at Chill on the Hill last night and thought for $3.75 for a slice of pizza I could give them a try. They offer a few different basic pizza toppings, and then the Slice of the Day. Last nights slice was a Taco pizza. (ground beef, taco seasoning, tomato, black olive, shredded lettuce and sour cream). With no hesitation I ordered the Slice of the Day and garlic bread. The slice was much bigger than I expected, and for just $3 I got 3 slices of garlic bread. The pizza was Very Good. Crust was a nice hand tossed thickness (not too thin and not too thick). Just enough to hold all of the toppings, but not too much that you get a mouthful of crust. The garlic bread was also good, just a little heavy on the butter. Good pizza at a good price. I will definitely be checking them out again! read more

Streetza Pizza - Taco Slice and one order of garlic bread! - Food Trucks Near Me

Streetza pizza is by far the best pizza I have ever had. Amazing crust, outrageously fresh ingredients. My kids absolutely rave about it too...when they make those great early evening appearances read more

Got cheese pizza for the kids at chill on the hill. Very average and no interesting toppings. On top of that it was $4 for a not very big slice and I waited over half an hour. In comparison, Ian's has pieces that are twice as big, unique, and a way better crust. I'd say I make better pizza easy, sorry. read more

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I kept hearing about Streetza all over social media and also saw on their website that they've been voted "Best Food Truck in America" by a bunch of different national publications. I thought I was going to be in for something special, but that was not the case. The pizza quality was in line with something like DiGiorno...nothing remarkable about it at all and no better than frozen. I guess I might eat it after bar time if I was desperate, but can't say I'd do it on any other occasion. Is that why they bring in celebrity chefs for events?...to make good pizza once in awhile? How can a place with such bad pizza be voted the best food truck in America? I come to find out from several people that the owner used to work at a PR firm and has lots of contacts in the industry and calls in favors to get the publicity. WOW...I thought it would take more than that to be judged as the "best". I'm gonna rethink all of those "best of" lists for street food now! I really wanted to like Streetza. They do so much on social media and seem to have lots of followers. I guess some people think the flashy marketing stuff is more important than quality food. Unfortunately, I don't think that way. Sorry guys, but I will be moving on to other food trucks in Milwaukee. read more

I have to say being a big social media advocate, I was excited to try Streetza on Wednesday when they were at the Federal Building. I had tweeted at them what the slice of the day was going to be and received no response within a half and hour so I just went out there on a way to a meeting. After reading the board, I decided to go by a traditional cheese slice where it said on the menu that they take ur picture for a flick photo stream. The person who took my order was nice enough and had me sign my credit card receipt electronically via a phone which was hard to do (maybe its me). Overall decent customer service. In terms of the pizza, I had high expectations. After reading quite a few of their tweets, I expected more. The cheese seemed to hide the pizza sauce which I didn't like. After hearing all of the ranting and raving, I had high expectations I admit. However I would think twice before heading to their truck again. read more

I've been aware of Streetza for a while now, but I'd never gotten a chance to eat there until I started working downtown and could hit up their truck during the lunch hour. Sad to say, the pizza I had was mediocre at best. Congealed cheese, soggy crust, overly-greasy garlic bread that looks (and tastes) like something from the freezer at the grocery store. I'm a big pizza fan and an even bigger fan of independent businesses, but it just didn't hold up and I didn't finish my slice. They get points for big slices and for including the garlic bread, but I'll probably pass on future visits unless I can guarantee getting a slice fresh out of the oven (mine looked like it had been sitting in their heater for quite a while). read more

I happened upon Streetza after a show let out since Water Street's frat-heavy bars aren't my usual scene. Even at 1am, even while famished, and even out of the side of a truck pizza deserves to be better than this. Rant time. Pizza is a fundamentally uncomplicated concept. That Milwaukee as a whole can't seem to muster up decent pizza astounds me. On both ends of the transaction there is failure: how do we always fail to make palatable pizza, and likewise why would Milwaukee eaters pay for pizza so bad? It's a zen-like paradox that I can't answer. read more

I tried their pizza at an event going on at Verlo Mattress in Greenfield. They were pumping out hot pizza at an awesome rate! I tried their peperoni and also their pastry style pizza, both were MUCH better then I expected to get out of a truck. I was really impressed that they were able to provide the quantity of pizza they were and still have the pizza hot and delicious! I am considering using them for a couple events coming up, my kids sports event and my company picnic. read more

Very bland, boring pizza. Not sure how these guys got so "popular" but their pizza is about as boring as it gets. Thankfully, if you are near food trucks, there are bound to be many better options. read more

Pumpkin Pizza. Who woulda thunk it. Delicious. Yummy and inventive. I will be back!

I rented the Streetza truck for our late night wedding snack. It was a huge hit with the guests, who raved about the pizza. I would recommend it for any large group events. read more

Bar time. Hungry. Skip the drive through and find the drive-to-you, a big, hot slice of pizza from the Streetza Pizza truck hits the spot for sure. I was also at the event mentioned in Frank N's review and he is right. Some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. It's pizza gang. PIZZA. Eat it, enjoy it, eat it again. read more

We used Streetza to cater a corporate event. They came early and started cooking to be ready for the 50+ people we had at the event. They kept us well stocked in Pizza, Garlic Bread, Salad and Dessert for over an hour. Tasted great, very happy with the setup/clean up. They even adapted well to changing plans due to weather. I will be recommending to others read more

Awesome! The pizza was good & pretty cheap. After a long night, it's a great place to stop & grab a bite. Definitely rate Streetza Pizza a 9! read more

We heard so many good reviews about Streetza and finally got to experience it! My husband is from NYC and is very critical on his pizza. We usually try a pizza and never go back because it doesnt even come close to NYC pizza. But as soon as we were done trying Streetza my husband said that its the closest hes had to NYC pizza in a long time and by far the best in Milwaukee! We found our new pizza spot! DELISH! read more

My husband and I hired Streetza Pizza for our son and daughter inlaws rehearsal dinner at our home. There are not enough words to express how wonderful it was to have Scott in our home providing a casual, tasteful, delicious, fun experience for our 40 guests. Everyone raved about the six different pizza's that were offered and the side entrees of salads and the delicious smore's and carmel apple pizza. Scott personalized the food truck chalk boards for our son and daughter inlaw's rehearsal and he took beautiful pictures of our property, food, and guests capturing a very special memory for all of us. Everything was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of night leaving left overs with carry out containers for our guests to take pizza with them. The evening was a wonderful experience for my family and friends I highly recommend Streetza Pizza for any event! read more

another sad food truck experience today. shouldve stayed in line a Pita Bros. This pizza does taste like digiornos but not as fresh, oddly. Supposed to be $3.75 + tax, but he charged me $4. Are we in Chicago? Tax in MKE is 6% last time I checked. Not a big deal, but kind of goes with the package of bait n switch. read more

Streetza offers some of the worst that I've ever had. Think roller-rink pizza. I'm not exactly sure what the "fresh toppings" on the pizza would be. We ordered the "Say Cheese!" and Pepperoni slices. No one in our party finished our slices. The cheese was sub-par. The sauce was overly sweet. The crust was floppy and undercooked. Definitely avoid the Streetza truck. read more

Had Streetza cater the rehearsal dinner before my son's wedding. Would have them again in a HEARTBEAT. We had about 60 people at a Milwaukee park and it was perfect. The pizza and garlic bread and dessert got really great reviews from everyone. The guys in the truck were friendly and very polite (even when people started bugging them for pizza before the time we had agreed on). The truck came with everything we needed and the guys set it up and cleaned it all up when we were done. Our guests thought it was great fun to have a food truck serve up their pizza. Heard it over and over again all night. Can't think of one thing that would have made it better. Easy to work with, good food, great attitude, fun. read more

Awful, awful pizza. Soggy, moldy, lukewarm and at 4 bucks a slice, it's not really a bargain.
