    Bacon ranch Pizza

Food was served delicious and hot. Service was excellent and staff was amazing! John and Itza kept checking on us and it was much appreciated Bacon ranch Pizza was a killer. Vibe was very chill and laid back, my kinda spot. . Will definitely be back to this place.

The zucchini fries were so good. I forgot to take a picture. The last one did not make it long.

Great margarita pizza, and zucchini fries! Loved this place but horrible acoustics! One loud table took over the restaurant and made our Apple Watches tell us it was too loud! Would definitely order for takeout probably not dine in.

Ordered 5 pizzas for delivery. All arrived on time and were hot and delicious! Mike and John were so nice to confirm my delivery. All of our guests loved the pizza. The crust and toppings were the best! Didn't order the chopped Sicilian salad as one of our guests was bringing salad but it is fantastic! We will add it next time.

Pizza is by far the best! Ordered a thin crust Hawaiian aka blackened lau. It was so tasty! Loved the smokey ham. Also ordered a old fashioned and it was great! Establishment has limited seating. Lots of people are in and out picking up food orders. One thing I noticed is the slower service since the server is the only one going around taking orders and chatting with customers. No negative review for that but wish there was at least one more person to help. Definitely coming back.

Absolutely shocking how great the crust was!!! Came in on a Sunday after years of passing by and wanting to try Possibly my 2nd favorite pizza place now in the city!!! Owner (I believe was working) was fantastic and very talkative and nice

After reading the reviews I was so excited to see a restaurant finally opened at the old Irie Zulu location in our neighborhood. But I was totally disappointed by the service. For me, I hate to take off any stars because of service (come on if the food is good who cares so much about the service) At 11:00am I ordered and they said food would be ready in 22-25 mins - At 11:25am I arrived and found nothing's ready - At 11:38am they told me hummus is not available for my flat bread and that's 13 mins already for me to stand here in the restaurant - At 11:54 am finally got my food after standing alone and hearing the owner chat about various stuff loudly with people at the bar for almost 30 mins. Food was good. I agreed they have the best arancini in town. Very flavorful and creamy inside and crispy outside. Cuban tasted salty to me but hubby thought it was good. Pizza was really good taste wise with lots of toppings. Pineapple pizza fans you don't want to miss it. Be prepared for mistakes during their opening month and a very loud nonstop voice at the bar, you should be fine.

Yet another great new place on the West Side! BB's is in the old Irie Zulu space - they've added a new bar and the most comfortable bar stools I've sat in lately! So the menu here is really interesting - pizza is a focus, but don't miss the entrees or small plates. They're taking classic dishes and adding subtle but tasty touches. Case in point - arancini ($13) which were some of the best I've had anywhere. They're homemade and you can tell - the rice is perfectly tender and there's a bit if chorizo inside to add a nice kick. Definitely get this! We had a large pizza - you can choose "Milwaukee thin" or "NY style" - we picked Milwaukee thin which was an excellent cracker crust with sweet tomato sauce and ample toppings. Two thumbs up! The owner said everything is made in house except the French fries, so expect fresh flavors and new dishes every week. Full bar, drinkable wine, fair prices and a nice staff. This is a great fit for the area and someplace we'll be back to - soon! EDIT: definitely don't sleep on the non-pizza items. I had a really good Cuban sandwich on fresh crusty bread with the most tender pork loin. Completely unexpected but no question I'd get it again.

Have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Since our usually pizza place directly across the street was closed for the holiday we decided to try this place. There was literally nobody inside but us so we were expecting an exceptional experience but I think our expectations were too high. We came in and wanted to get seated for 3. The hostess wasn't very welcoming and seemed to have an attitude whenever somebody came through the door. The spaghetti and meatballs came out cold so someone in my party suggested that they probably came out the refrigerator and the hostess told us why would they come out of the refrigerator. Why wouldn't they? I'm really big on customer service and don't need to come back here.

First time at this restaurant and we had a pretty good experience. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We got a blackened luau pizza which was delicious and I had a mojito since the bartender said they had fresh mint from their garden!

Great little place. Bartender seemed to be a one woman show except for whoever was cooking. Food was a little slow to come out and prices are a bit higher than shown online. Small pizza said $14 and was $20. Ordered a bottle of wine and it was $32 only to read and see it was made by Sutter Home and is a $13 bottle. Pizza was good, I felt like it needed more flavor to the sauce. My husband loved his pizza.

Do they use sauce the pizza light or heavy? I like a little extra saucy pizza, but don't want it swimming. I can't stand dry.

First time we had it, I'd say it was the perfect amount of sauce. The second time it was too much but we don't like it super saucy

Do they use fresh mushrooms on their pizza?

I believe so. They looked fresh to me.

He took the time to explain dishes, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The deviled eggs were easily our favorite and are an absolute must-order. We also loved the flatbread with fiddleheads, which featured a delicious curry-inspired flavor that reminded us of an Indian dish. My husband couldn't stop talking about the bread pudding and said it was one of the best desserts he's had. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. If we lived in Milwaukee, Odd Duck would absolutely become one of our regular spots. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in town.

Our server, Adam, was quick and attentive. He was funny, suggested items for us to try, and was very tentative of our friend's food allergy. We started the night with a few drinks; #39 non-alcoholic Paloma, #129 non-alcoholic sbagiato, and #33 Sherry Pear-Y. All of which were absolutely amazing! Then we ordered the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs (comes with two pieces), Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushrooms, Cappelletti, Slow-braised Bison Cheek, Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish), and the Wood-fired Bavette Steak. Where do I begin? First off, everything was fantastic! Delicious, creative, and memorable. Some dishes even had us ordering seconds! First the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs: so creamy! We ended up ordering another plate of them (four orders) because one wasn't enough for the four of us. The Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushroom: insanely seasoned! It was crispy and the kick of the Thai chili peppers, made it our tables favorite (we ordered another plate of this)! The bits of crunch rice mixed in was also a pleasant surprise. The bits of green beans and cucumber was a nice way to cool the kick of the spices. The Slow-braised Bison Cheek: It was very interesting. Very soft and when paired with the polenta cake, mozzarella, and carrot, it tasted amazing. Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish): Also very interesting. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese catfish soup! The pineapple fish sauce paired amazing with the glass noodles. The only complaint I have about this dish, was that the glass noodles weren't fully cooked, so they were a bit hard. The Wood-fired Bavette Steak: My god, this was amazing! It was perfectly cooked, the dark chocolate bordelaise paired with the mushrooms and steak was incredible. Like I said, everything was amazing! Our table was blown away with the creativity and quality of the food. The service was amazing, everyone was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and quirky. It was fun spotting all the duck decorations. Honestly, cannot rave enough about this place, I look forward to the next time I visit!

We started with the pink Guava Paloma and the Schilling Local Legends for our drinks. The Pink Guava Paloma tasting amazing and was strong. You were really able to taste the tequila but it wasn't un-drinkable. The Guava was a great blend with the drink and my friend wished he had gotten the same drink because of how good it tasted. The menu was divided up into three different sections; Field, Sea, and Pasture. They also had specials, as well. We tried to get a few items from each section to try different dishes. In the Field section, we tried the Truffle Potato Skins (WI). The potatoes skins were PILED onto the plate. They were more soft than crunchy but tasted amazing. I wasn't really able to taste the truffle but it was still good. In the Sea section, we tried the Sambal Goreng Udang (Indonesia). An Indonesian dish with white shrimp, sambal chili paste, mash potatoes, and coconut milk. Honestly, this was my favorite dish. It was creamy and the mashed potatoes paired so well with the sauce and the shrimp. It had a hint of spice, which elevated the experience for me personally, as I love spicy food. In the Pasture section, we tried the Beef Empanadas (Columbia) and Vietnamese Pork Belly Crepes (Vietnam). The Beef Empanadas came with four pieces and some green sauce. The outside was crunchy and not over fried, the inside was perfectly filled and moist. Would highly recommend it as it was amazing. The Vietnamese Pork Belly Crepes were a little disappointing. I was expecting them to come out like the traditional Vietnamese crepes, crispy outside with the pork belly and other fillings on the inside. Instead it was like an actual crepe mix. It was soft and honestly okay. It wasn't our favorite. As for the specials they were offering, we tried the Pork Tenderloin. The Pork Tenderloin was pretty good, not super dry. It was served on top of potatoes and tasted amazing. La Merenda has a very cozy atmosphere. Low lights and overall just a chill and quaint spot. I will definitely come back for more of the Sambal Goreng Udang and to try out some of their other plates!

The Gnocchi d'Autunno we got was like a nice hug it was such a warm dish in the way you want a warm comfort meal on a cold day. The butter chicken and Argentina style beef we also tried I liked the butter chicken more just because I wish the beef had more chimichurri. I definitely will take friends in the future. The waitress was very informative and let me sample a few - you have to try the unfiltered ones! They are a lot fruitier and smoother than you'd think. Our reservation was for 6:45, but we were sat to begin just after 7 (I think that's intentional to ensure everyone is present when they are actually ready to flip and begin service again). It's a well-oiled machine with how smoothly they flip each 10-person group through the evening. Once the chefs get started (there's two, one per 5 guests), it's so neat to watch them work and create each piece or dish for you. Both were incredibly refreshing and truly so flavorful that I can't even think of anything to compare it to. My lovely date's favorites from the night were the Shiromi and Hamachi. She really loved the variation in including the Shiromi with the crunchy base and the mix of fresh fish on top, so good! The Hamachi is a classic love for us, so of course it was a top contender, but the torching added some extra oomph that made it the king of all hamachis we've had This was an awesome experience that I cannot recommend enough!
