So good! Every dish…read moreI've tried is great/flavorful. Side note, it is served as it comes out/tapas style so if you're eating with others just know food will come out at different times. I highly recommend the wings, dumplings, pad Thai, coconut shrimp.

Food Quality & Taste- 4/5 Hawkers is a solid and consistent…read moredining experience. I tried the roti, the twice fried Korean wings, the coconut shrimp, the Seoul hot chicken bao bun, the pad thai, and the chow faan. The standouts were the Seoul hot chicken Bao buns and the Chow faan. I've gone several times and I would definitely recommend this franchise. Service- 5/5 the service is great. it was fast, courteous, and fun!. The servers always have a positive and energizing attitude. Note: this restaurant serves Tapas style so dishes will come out as they are prepared in the kitchen. While I don't like to share lol, the dishes are meant to be shared. Atmosphere- 5/5 I love the vibe of this place. The restaurant is decorated with many pan-asian cultural elements. In some locations, you can hear the kitchen staff communicating with each other which gives a lot of energy to the restaurant as well. The music is often R&B and/or pop which also adds to the energy of the restaurant. This place is versatile. It can be a nice date night, a family night, or even a solo dinner at the bar. Value- 4/5 Hawkers has a great value. The dishes are generally cheap, or affordable. There are a few pricey options but you can definitely have a nice, affordable dinner with many of the options on the menu. combined with the fast and quick service it's definitely a strong option. Opportunities for Learning- 4/5 There are many opportunities for learning! The menu has a variety of pan-Asian options typically articulated in the original culture. So sometimes the menu will have you googling. Many of the ingredients on the dishes are also culturally specific which provides a really authentic vibe. They often change their menu so often when I visit I leave having learned something different than I knew before I walked in!

Most impressive was the stir fry noodles which actually were cooked perfectly. Not slobbered with sauce. Not gloopy. They were almost dry as the sauce was absorbed into the noodles as it should be. I got hibachi and it also was perfect for what it is. The decor is great with those cool coi fish lamps. And service was spot on. Plus they were playing anime "Muzak". Overall I really really like this place for a mid priced Japanese place.

The restaurant was nicely decorated, much nicer than most of the casual Japanese restaurants that we have recently visited including some in the fancy parts of Winter Park. Nomi has quality chairs and booths! Too many casual food places use these cheap aluminum chairs, not this place, Nomi has first rate chairs. You know it matters, if you're spending hard earned money you shouldn't have to eat on picnic table like furniture. Well, at least I think so... The food selections allow for budget conscious people like me, plus there are other items on the menu if you're looking to splurge, which I bet are amazing. We had a mix of appetizers, shrimp tempura and sushi rolls -everything was great! The place is located in East Orlando at the end of 408, just off E. colonial. There is usually only minimal traffic in this area, and Nomi had plenty of parking out front. We all agreed, Nomi will be our go to place for casual Japanese dinners.

I think how busy they always are speaks to how good they are…read more While they don't allow reservations and your party must all be present before being seated, the food is delicious. Their wings are so crispy, I think they're some of the best wings I've had. I also highly recommend their Tokyo Ramen. The chicken thighs in the ramen are crispy and have great flavor. I only wish there was more broth because it was so yummy. Food came out fast and service was great.

Amazing Japanese spot!!…read more Once you enter, you are met with a huge seating area including a bar where you can only get drinks. Most people in there are waiting for a table inside the main restaurant. Once we got called back, we sat at another bar area where you can see the kitchen. Very interesting layout. We started with the famous domu wings and I seriously will be thinking about the wings until I go back. So much flavor in those things. I love that the noodles are made in house so I wanted to try the ramen of course. I got the Richie Rich ramen which was tasteful but I wish you could choose to add some spice in it. Still great though. My sister got the tonkotsu with black garlic and she almost ate the entire thing. Also got some shishito peppers and that was also just as good as everything else. I kept seeing the lychee martini being ordered to I got that and it was as good as everyone mentioned. It does have popping boba at the bottom which I loved but I know not everyone likes it so just an fyi. My sister got the Roddy pom. The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.
