Grilled Chicken Coconut Rice - AMAZING!

Everything about Pho Akaushi is amazing! The food quality, the presentation, the staff, the ambiance. This restaurant is a definite must if you are in the Avalon Park area. No wonder they won an award for best Vietnamese food! They deserve it and more!

Grilled pork sandwich!

Had an appt near by and decided to stop here to pick up some food to go! It's very cute inside and the people are so friendly! I got the Vietnamese ice coffee and it was delicious. Ordered the grilled pork sandwich and the shrimp spring rolls. Wow the sandwich was so good, the bread was crispy and the pork was juicy and had such good flavors. Spring rolls were fine too. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu!

Macarons with the evidence of delish cremes in the back lol

Just tried this spot for the first time last night and I'm officially obsessed. The pho broth was incredible - super flavorful with a deep, layered spice profile that honestly beats a lot of the well-known spots in the Mills area. I had the meatball pho and it was perfection. Service was friendly and fast, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about their customers. The menu is really cool too with a fun Viet-French twist. For dessert, I got the crème brûlée and Set A macarons and WOW. The macarons were amaaaazing - the ube one alone is worth the drive, and the yuzu chocolate flavor was such a fun, unique combo. Portions were generous for both the food and desserts. Definitely adding this to my regular rotation and already planning my next visit.

A gem of a place! The hubs and I ventured into Avalon park for an Art fair and wanted to eat. We went to the another place that was not it and we went back to Pho bc it was packed when we walked by. The service is quick and friendly. The food was delicious for both of us. They have a very cute quiet ambience going with outside covered seating and a great pink picture wall! My hubs drink had just been added to the menu we were the first to order it and it was a hit! Don't miss out and go, this place is going to satisfy all the senses

Still love this place. They treat you like family. I live out of state and haven't been to eat here in three months and they still remembered me and asked me about my Mom. It meant a lot to me. They also won a huge award in July for the best Vietnamese place in the greater Orlando area, which is well deserved.

A wonderful spot in Avalon to grab some Asian fusion. Their menu features pho, banh mi sandwiches, rice dishes, noodle dishes, appetizers, as well as a French section. We tried the eggrolls as an appetizer and the grilled chicken rice dish and noodle dish. The eggrolls were so fresh and perfectly crispy, they were delicious! The rice and noodle dishes were also super tasty. The sauce on the chicken was flavorful without being overpowering. Everything seemed very fresh and on the healthier side which I appreciated. Service was great and we also spoke with the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. I loved sitting on the cute patio. Definitely worth a stop!

AKAUSHI PHO Banh Mi Sandwich was like a Hanoi Arby's or a Saigon Portillos with delicious pho broth for dipping

Pho? Queue me up for some. I think this is the place you want to go if you want delicious Pho. To be phair, I'm not an expert in pho, but I will say as someone who has eaten a lot of phood in general, the broth alone is satisfying A-PH. We went here when it phirst opened (2022?) and got a phew miscellaneous things (salad, crab rangoon, phried stuff, etc.) which was all good, but we didn't go back for another visit in a long time. We tried it again and I ordered the special Bahn mi which was a beef brisket filling with all of the other stuph EXCEPT the pickled veggies, and it came with a cup of pho for dipping. WOW! That combination was a pho king winner! It was like eating a Chicago Italian Beeph with au jus or an Arby's French Dip but a lot more rephined. The Noodle dish was a bit bland. The Bun Cha Gio was a noodle dish served with fried egg rolls and some other toppings. The noodles were really bland though and could have used a sauce or something. We added some pho broth to give them some phlavor. Bottom line, DRESS THOSE NOODS! The Bahn Mi was unique and I would say not 100% authentic, but I did like their take on it. The bread is all baked in house and was crispy, which took to the dipping very well. Ok, the 5 star dish of the show was the pho broth. Wow, it was silky smooth, rich in flavor with strong spice notes of cinnamon/clove/anise or something. I couldn't quite figure it out, but oh man, I slurped up every phatty drop of that nectar. Service was lacking as the woman working the front of the house was on the phone and phixing up the lighted tree while we were waiting to order. She was also busy doing many other things instead of checking the two tables that had people dining. She was nice, but just pre-occupied. I'd probably go back and order a full-on pho dish next time as that was the clear winner. The Pho Bahn Mi was a great way to try it if you're new to Pho. But I'd steer clear of the noodles dishes.

This is by far my new favorite Pho spot!!! The tofu egg rolls shocked me because I'm not a tofu fan! We went as part of a group food run event and EVERYONE loved EVERYTHING we ate!! The service was wonderful. The owner and her brother made us feel welcomed and they made awesome suggestions! They take food seriously! I'm going for a date night to try something new!

Driven passes place numerous times, but decided to finally stop in and try their pho. Customer service is some of the best I have ever had, everyone is extremely friendly, and went over the entire menu in depth on what exactly to expect. Had a few different appetizers, french fries, as well as the truffle edamame. I think next time we're gonna get the truffle french fries. I got the Wagyu lovers pho and I couldn't have been more pleased. Some of the most tender beef and brisket wrapped up into a warm bowl of heavenly goodness. Keep in mind I'm not a big Pho guy but this place warmed my soul. 100% will be back to try other items. Highly recommend them

Grilled Chicken Vermicelli
Shaji L.

The hosts were very welcoming and patient. Food came out in 5-10mins. The Grilled Chicken Vermicelli is savory, light and addictive. The ambience is a mixture of a boba shop and a small Italian restaurant. Food coming out quick, hosts are charismatic, you hear the food being cooked in the kitchen and see various speakers, plushies and various decor sprinkled throughout the space.

pretty decor!!

Such a beautiful place and friendly owners!!! I loved the banh mi with the pho broth, it was super yummy. Love coming here and always have great experience :)

Waiting for our bobas!

This is a newer addition to the Avalon Park area in Orlando. My mom and I stopped by during the big neighborhood Easter celebration for some boba teas. As usual, we opted for the Ube flavored boba and the owner recommended the Coconut flavored boba. The Coconut flavored one was just OK. Probably wouldn't order it again. Didn't have much flavor. Let me start by saying that the service was great and the restaurant was very pretty inside, but they definitely need to step up their game with the bobas. I love that they have handy carriers on the cups for to-go orders, but I was really disappointed with the depth of flavor. Both bobas were definitely lacking in sweetness and richness. Definitely needed more of whatever Ube or Coconut base they use for their milk tea. They were NOT sweet enough. I've been drinking delicious ones for over 20 years, so there is room for improvement regarding the milk teas here. The actual chewiness and consistency of the tapioca pearls were perfect. We purchased some marinated grilled pork and grilled chicken on sticks as well as their spring rolls, grilled pork balls and fried cream cheese wontons they were selling à la carte. It's never acceptable to serve food that's suppose to be hot COLD. I know this was a neighborhood event, but simple Sterno fuel with chafing dishes to keep the food warm is a no brainer. First impressions. It could have been better...

Pho Akaushi has opened in the Avalon Park neighborhood on the east side of Orlando, Florida. It bills itself as offering both Vietnamese and French food, but the menu is definitely geared more towards the Vietnamese offerings. Scanning the menu, I went with the beef and meatballs pho and for an appetizer, I went with the truffle french fries. My dining companion had shrimp with vermicelli and Vietnamese spring rolls. We had the food to go and I got there and the gentleman who helped me brought my food out pretty much withing a half minute of me getting there. I got home and opened the containers and immediately noticed that the portions were a bit small, especially for the price point. Pho Akaushi is definitely on the higher side of the price spectrum. My pho was about nineteen dollars. The truffle fries were about nine dollars. The shrimp with vermicelli was about sixteen dollars. I can't remember the price for the spring rolls. I think that they were about six dollars. Now, their selling point on the pho is that they use wagyu beef. Honestly, I was not overly impressed. The pho needed a bit more of a salty element to it. The broth was okay, but nothing special. My dining companion was not impressed. We both agreed that the best thing about the meal was the truffle fries and they were nothing special. All in all, this was an overpriced, mediocre meal. I am glad to see a Vietnamese restaurant close to me, but I think that I will continue to head towards downtown for my Vietnamese food fix. The food is better and better priced.

The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.
