Ordered pick-up from this local pizzeria located in a roadside shopping center on St Simons island…read more They do not offer delivery so I had to pick it up and it was close to my hotel. I placed a pick-up order for a large 16 inch sausage pizza and an order of 12 mild buffalo wings. The employee on the phone said it would be about 45 minutes and upon arriving, I noted that the business did a brisk sit down and carry-out service on a Friday night. The business has a walk up window to pick up carry out orders bc the interior is small but if the person who is working the window/ counter/ cash register is busy/ distracted it can take a few to get their attention. The young lady who took my order advised that my order should be up soon and I ended up waiting closer to an hour. When I got my food, everything was well packaged and prepared. They also gave me plates for my hotel room. Upon getting the food to our room, my wife and I dug in. The pizza was thin and crispy with sliced sausage and a nice pizza sauce that had a great flavor. The wings were crispy and well sauced. Their ranch is thick, flavorful and perfect for dipping wings in. I am pretty sure the ranch is house made. So glad we asked for extra ranch. We had enough for left over the next day and the food was just as good cold the next day. Good option for a pickup to go meal after a long day.

We started with the calamari with both a Mariana sauce and an aioli with artichoke & peppers. Nice light coating and great taste! My wife & her mom split a Gorgonzola pesto base pizza. The crust had a bit of char and the toppings too had a bit of caramelization which they said made the pizza perfect! Thank you for a nice experience and will be back to try some of the other entrees as well as a different type of pizza!

First Id like to say the pizza is very good, however that is not all that makes an experience good…read moreor bad. We made an online order for two pizzas to be charged separately . when we arrived to pick up the pizzas, they rang both orders on the same card and the second order charged for two pizzas. So essentially we paid for three pizzas on one card. We didn't realize this until we got home with our pizza. We called immediatel, but they couldn't find where they had charged our card. What?! so the next day we went there with our receipt and they still didn't understand what we were trying to explain and couldn't find the order on their computer. They wouldn't give us the overcharged amount but instead gave us a card on which they wrote Free large pizza. The overcharge was for the amount of a specialty pizza., $27.--. Tonight we ordered online once more and ordered our 'free' pizza. we ordered a specialty pizza like before. When we picked it up and gave them our free pizza card they said it was only good for a cheese pizza and charged us extra for each of the toppings that were included in the specialty pizza which came to $12.95. So not only did we get overcharged the first time but we got cheated again the second time. Needless to say we won't be back. This is not customer service.

The Havarti grilled cheese sandwich was also a hit. Handhelds were priced $15-20. And the entrees were $20+. Highly recommended this restaurant and bar. The store is a plus to the dine.

I think this has potential as a nice place to dine on the island. I'll definitely return to try some other things on the menu. Only negative is the Open Table advertising is not accurate I.e. wine tasting specials didn't exist, ladies night specials on wine etc aren't honored but ladies offered free glass of prosecco. Otherwise good visit.

We've been coming to St. Simons Island for years, and somehow this was our first visit to Del Sur…read more After one meal, we're wondering why we waited so long! Normally when we're on the island, our mission is to eat as much fresh seafood as possible, so it takes a lot for us to choose something from the land. Del Sur absolutely delivered. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender, and the Italian dishes were just as impressive. The Parmesan risotto was rich and creamy, the linguine with pesto sauce was fresh and full of flavor, and even the mashed potatoes were outstanding. We also started with the beef empanada, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between casual and upscale. Del Sur has officially earned a spot on our must-visit list every time we're in St. Simons. If you're looking for a break from seafood without sacrificing an amazing meal, this is the place to go.
