They have great options! Asian to Mexican dishes. We tried the Quesabirria, Laksa, and Beef Rendang. Great food! Will come back again.

The taco shell had a great crunch and the birria meat had really good flavor. It also came with extra consommé on the side for dipping, which made it even better. I haven't had a ton of quesabirria, but my first thought after the first bite was basically, "wow, this is the best quesabirria I've had!!" A couple small downsides: the free chips were a bit stale, and they were out of rice on a Sunday around noon. There's plenty of outdoor seating in the gas station parking lot, and the outdoor dining area was fairly clean with some umbrellas for shade. For dine-in, they served the food on a plate, which was a nice touch for a food truck.

So we decided to get all asada tacos instead. We were picking up a single taco for a friend to try who doesn't like onions, so we asked for 8 tacos with everything (cilantro + onions) and 1 taco with no onions. When we got home and opened the plate, we had 8 tacos total (I checked, and we were only charged for 8), 4 of them were meat only, and the other 4 had only onions. The truck itself was on a nice corner and had a clean setup. There was a small seating area in the back with tables and chairs. The person working the truck was also really nice and friendly, but unfortunately, I don't think you can get an order this wrong. The prices were also hard to find. Tacos - $4.25 Rating: (6/10) Without cilantro, I feel like this taco is already below average. $4.25 per taco is also a bit high for a stand like this, though they do give a large amount of meat. The meat had pretty good flavor and was cooked for just the right amount of time. The green salsa was also really good. The taco shells were way too oily, and, maybe just as a personal preference, I don't enjoy lemons with my tacos ... limes are a must.

The woman working at the front was super nice and friendly. She even gave me extra sauces to go with my order, along with tortilla chips, which was a nice touch. They have several different sauces, including a bright green sauce that was really good. I ordered their carnitas jumbo burrito and a carne asada super burrito, and both were huge. At the price point, I'd say it's a pretty good value, especially considering the size of the food you get. I also tried a carnitas taco loaded with cilantro and onions, and that was very good. I'd probably come back specifically for their tacos. The burritos were absolutely stuffed with filling and meat. They were a little on the wet side, but I didn't mind it too much. I've heard their nachos and fries are also good, so I'll probably try those next time. Overall, pretty good first experience. 4 stars for the taco and 3.5 for the burrito. I'd definitely recommend the tacos here for now until I try the other food on the menu.

And can I say the price point is also remarkable. Given the high cost of eating out these days, La Costa is keeping it's price competitive. Service was fantastic! Good place to sit down and talk Tostada mixta $10 (3/5): This ceviche was HUGE. This contains 70% imitation crab, 10% shrimp, 10% octopus, 10% vegeatables, and 2 tostadas. Having this much imitation crab was not my jam, it overpowered the actual fresh seafood. Definitely filling by itself, but I personally would rather order the shrimp and octopus ceviche next time. Burrito $10 (4/5): Not your typical big fat burrito with a bunch of stuff inside. It's a little bit creamy but not saucy. The salsa on the side enhances it. Fish tacos $3.50 (4/5): Solid fish tacos, huge portions as well. 2 of these would be filling for me. Would get these again, the bomb.com Thought the prices were a tad expensive, but getting your money's worth, HUGE portions. Would come back again for the tacos.

We also found a parking space close-by, which was awesome. My wife wanted to try something new, so she ordered the Camarones Rancheros with a side salad, rice and beans. My husband had mentioned concerns about the service before, but I hadn't personally noticed any issues until today. In the past, I usually visited with my Mexican family. This time, I came with my husband, who is not Mexican, and I noticed that our server seemed to overlook him unless he was actively placing an order. The most surprising moment was when she removed his plate before he had finished eating. That really caught me off guard and left us feeling awkward. I hope this was an isolated incident because the food has always been enjoyable.
