it's so great to have some more lao food options in grand rapids! the first time i went was so tasty, i went again three weeks later. the restaurant has a few tables for dine in and space can be limited. i've tried their isaan sausage and nam kao. i loveddd the lao sausage with sticky rice (i'm biased). i also bought some jeow mak lin on the side as an extra dipping sauce, and i would recommend! nam kao was flavorful and fresh, it's a little more on the sweet and savory side for me. the owner was so kind and informative! you can tell they are excited to be there and have love for the community. read more

Yo, the passion behind this place is INSANE. Big fan. I love to see that every time something's being cooked up someone has a nice thing to say about it. On top of that the drinks are off the hook. The service is very lovely. I speak with the owner any time I'm in there and that's what makes community, he puts in the work for a good community and I appreciate it. Love having a place to get Lao food in town! This is more of a casual spot that does mostly carry out, but there are some tables for dine in, and water bottles are available for purchase. We got street coffees to start which are iced, sweet, and tasty. I couldn't help but order some of my Lao favorites: Lao sausage, Lao grilled beef, nem khao, and laap gai with a 4/5 spice level. My husband got fried rice with a 3/5 spice level, and we got some beef pad see ew and mango sticky rice too. Our friends met us and ordered some dishes as well. The food was tasty and the spring rolls were my favorite. I got no spice and I think it ultimately kind of meant no flavor. It was tasty enough but if you want flavor I recommend getting at least mild spice. The food was ready quickly and the gentlemen working when I picked it up was nice. read more

I pulled up to this place 15 deep expecting another disappointment for some authentic Lao food. Oh my hell was I wrong. The staff treated us like we were family. This restaurant is by far the best Lao food I've ever had outside of my mom's own cooking.. The food is not a watered down version of authentic lLao food.
