They don't get any better than Walt. He designed and installed a friend's back yard, so I hired him to create a water-wise cottage garden look for my ugly front yard. Went from the ugliest house on the block to the best! These photos show landscaping after some growth, but I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. Walt was quick to get a sense of what I wanted and wonderful to work with. They even designed the arbor for me, created a fence that matched the one I had on my porch and used some rocks from an old pond standing around in my backyard to line the gravel path. Pleased as punch, and now will hire him to do my backyard!

I am so happy with the work done by Walt and his crew. We have had several projects done by them and we are extremely happy. One such project is worth mentioning. I just wanted a water feature that we and the grandkids could enjoy. We couldn't get a pool contractor to come our way, a spa was as expensive as a pool. We turned to Walt with what we were looking for. It was perfect. See our finished photos. Exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price.

Walt is hands down the guy I'll recommend anyone go to for their landscaping needs! He came by my house, in the rain, on the weekend to look at my side yard and give me a price for various improvements I wanted there. It wasn't just some grass going down, that's for sure! I asked him to price small tree removal, concrete walkway extension, compacted aggregate, wood chips, a vegetable drip system, and sod with irrigation, all needed to improve the side yard of our house to become a multi-use area for gardening, a new shed for outdoor storage, and a play area for our son. This was a big job with many adjacent aspects that needed to be coordinated and it was definitely more than I could handle on my own! Walt's pricing was very competitive, less than 2 other contractors I'd had look at the same area and scope, and he was very confident in his ability to give me a great end product at a great price - and he sure delivered on that promise! His guys are super hard working, and really made an immediate transformation to the yard. They cleared out all the existing vegetation (basically weeds and dirt and rock and junk!) and got to work prepping the soil so that it drained properly, in addition to making sure the adjacent materials of wood, grass, gravel, and concrete all were delineated properly and laid out. During their work, they dug out a bunch of areas where I had gravel and weed barrier down in other areas of my yard so that they could make the water connection for the irrigation and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves, putting back the weed barrier and replacing the gravel. It looked better than when I did it myself. Those are the kinds of things that make a difference for me - little details that we didn't discuss but that he and his guys took care of without me needing to micro-manage them. He told me a couple times that he'd do the job like it was his own yard, and it showed. Everything turned out great and we're so excited to have this space on our property that will really become a wonderful place to hang out and grow some veggies and for our son to play. Thank you Walt! I'll be calling you for any other landscaping needs I have in the future, that's for sure!
After meeting with two other contractors we immediately decided to go with Walt based on the vibe we had at our initial meeting. Walt was straight forward with his pricing and open to my design plan without trying to change anything to make the job easier for him as the other contractors did. One thing in particular I liked was the fact I left him a voicemail on a Sunday not expecting a call back until the following week but to my surprise he returned my call within the hour, came by our home within the next hour and was able to discuss the project, paint out the design, and offer use pricing per square ft within a matter of a few hours. Upon his departure he told us he would follow up with an email to confirm our discussion and pricing by the next day and to my shagren we had a confirmation email by 530 am the next day. We are totally satisfied with the outcome of the project. Initially we were only hiring Streamline to complete the hardscape phase of the project but after seeing the work his crew could do we expanded the initial project from hardscape only to include the irrigation and sod installation. Streamline completed the patio area which was roughly 950 st ft with Belgard pavers in Arbel and Lafitt, installed a 70ft length concrete walkway along the side of the house. The fire pit area was completed using arbel pavers and the fire pit kit by Basalite. The sod was ordered from a local sod farm and is the same grass used at AT&T ballpark in SF. The crew was simply amazing, special thanks to Favio and his son Arturo, along with Stephan. These guys are real craftsmen and get the job done right. We are more than happy with the final project and will be hiring this crew back to complete the next phase...other side of yard. Money well spent.
I hired Walt to demo and reinstall 4 yards of concrete, level out the entire yard, install irritation..... erm I mean irrigation, sod, and new drainage. He fit me into his schedule even though it was already tight. Walt and his crew did great and fast work. He is a trustworthy guy who even left an important personal obligation to come by to handle a small problem. I highly recommend Walt and his crew.
Walt just finished re-doing our 24-year-old tired and torn up front yard and touched up the backyard, including removing and replacing an old defunct water feature/pond with a gas fire pit. I chose Walt because as soon as I met him I knew I could trust him to do his best and had confidence in the final product. Walt was given pretty much free reign on front yard design and rolled with a few mid-project pivots in the backyard. Walt did an excellent job and I highly recommend him.
I needed my front yard completely redone. I contacted numerous companies for ideas and quotes. They were all very expensive. They didn't like my ideas and I didn't like theirs. Then we call Streamline and the owner, Walt, came by to look at the job. We agreed on the design and he gave me a quote on the spot. It was quite a bit less than the others. They did a GREAT job and were very cooperative. I had them come back for some additional work later. I am very happy with the look and the crew. I would definitely use them again.
Walt (owner) and his team did a phenomenal front yard landscape redesign. I truly appreciate Walt's ability to really listen to what I had envisioned for the front yard, while working with some autonomy. Walt did a great job with the budget provided, he delivered on time, and his crew cleaned up the site every day and were very professional. I would highly recommend that you give Walt a call.

Trust in Walt ! Walt and team went beyond my expectations on my front yard project. The project got hit with delays due to covid supply shortage, well worth the wait. This is regarding customer service only! I've reached out to streamline landscaping from a recommendation on a Facebook group , I received a message from Walt scheduling appointment for Sunday morning , on Sunday morning he reached out to me to push 11am appt to 1pm , 1:30 comes and no one showed up I reached out and did not receive no response and at 2pm I cancelled the consultation altogether. This is highly unprofessional just no showing to an appt ( I get it it's free a consultation) but still it's unprofessional. read more

Walt was recommended to us by a friend after receiving a quote from another local landscaper. From the moment I contacted him for a quote, he was responsive and attentive to our vision and budget. We had a general idea of what we wanted in our yard, but we gave Walt the freedom to come up with his own plan as he went along. When it came time to do the work, Walt was great about communicating when the equipment would be dropped off along with a timeline to complete the project. His crew showed up ready to work and was clean and efficient throughout the entire project - from demo to competition. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to knock out my entire front yard over the course of 2 days. After the job was completed we did run into a few hiccups. The sprinkler timer randomly stopped working for the backyard sprinklers and a small patch of grass in the front yard began to turn yellow from the heat and high winds that took place shortly after install. I'm not sure if the sprinkler issue was a result of new irrigation in the front yard or just a fluke thing, but Walt happily handled both issues in a timely manner. As you can see by the pictures, the end result went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend Walt for your next landscape project - big or small. read more

We had the great fortune of working with Walt and his professional crew to revive our front and backyard. Our goal was a low maintenance yard, drought resistant landscaping, while maximize the play area for our two children. We had a slope on the side of our house which made for a lot of unusable space (6-7 feet wide by 80 feet in length). After contemplating removing the slope and putting in pavers for several years we finally decided to get it done. We interviewed 4 contractors in total. One promised us a quote and then didn't respond until several months later to want to know if we were still interested. Needless to say scratch that one off the list. One recommended we go to The Brickyard in Vacaville to check out their pavers and stones. The Brickyard had a whole section of displays of pavers and retaining walls. We asked The Brickyard for contractors and they recommended 2, one of which was Streamline Landscape. Turns out Streamline built all the displays at The Brickyard so, we could see their work upfront. We met with Walt, the owner of Streamline, and discussed what we wanted to do by digging out the slope and installing pavers and retaining wall. He came in with a great quote (which is what we paid) and was easy to talk with. We decided on using Walt and that was a great decision. He met us at The Brickyard on a Sunday morning to show us the pavers and stone for the wall that would be a good match. When the job started Walt was on the job with his crew and followed what we wanted done to a "T". He didn't try to raise his prices along the way or upsell us to some other stone. He's exactly the kind of person I like to do business with, honest and reliable. We're absolutely happy with Walt and his crew and highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Due to the drought I wanted to redo the front landscape and not just have dead grass. I got estimates from three other landscapers. I met with Walt and he started describing how he envisioned the finished job. It was exactly what we wanted. His price was fair and they finished the job in three days. We had 2 other quotes when we contacted Streamline and after meeting Walt decided to hire him. So happy we did. He started on the day he promised and finished the project in the promised time frame. He and his crew are professional and polite. The pavers and landcape he installed were exactly what we wanted and turned out better than I could have imaged. Where do I even begin... Streamline Landscape is the gold standard. Walt and his crew, Stefan, Tio and Jeremy went above and beyond with our project. We did our homework, got several estimates and decided on Streamline for our backyard overhaul. Walt came highly recommended through several sources and gave us a fair and competitive quote with a quick timeline. We shared with him our general ideas and he was able to expand on them with his 20+ years of professional advice and creativity, all while staying in budget. These guys are efficient, punctual, and kept communicating from start to finish. They removed old trees/growth/stumps and graded, installed pavers/fire pit, landscaping, raised beds, rock, DG, chips and sod all within a weeks time. Walt was able to incorporate a tricky patch of turf we already had and make it flow with our overall design. Everyday they showed up at 7am precisely and hit the ground running. The crew and their equipment/tools were never idle, and they were courteous to our neighbors and cleaned up the job site every day. I work for a general contractor and am very particular about details and budget. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience and highly recommend them. read more

Walt and his crew transformed our little front yard into a low maintenance, drought resistant simple professionally landscaped yard in late December. I have them back this week to start our back yard. His crew is very accommodating and nice. I've post some before and after pictures of the front landscape and will update when backyard is complete. What can I say about Walt and his crew??? He is simply amazing! I found him here on Yelp and saw that he had 5 stars...called and interviewed him since I like to get at least 3 estimates. I needed landscaping plants, sprinklers a large tree trimmed and a small flagstone patio....I was pleasantly surprised that Walts estimate was reasonable and slightly lower than the other quotes. He began work the next day and was finished in 2 days. The patio was " not quite right" but Walt didn't bat an eye...he was right out there fixing it making it so I was happy. Walts communication was excellent and that is important to me along with good work ethics. I was so happy I asked if he did lawn care services..he doesn't but knew someone who did and I hired him immediately! His name is Felix with Green Valley Lawn service!!! My husband and I are very pleased that we asked Arturo and Walt from Streamline Landscape to take on our late summer project! We are amazed that a quick 3 minute sketch was the actual blueprint for what we were looking for. SL was also very accommodating with working with our busy work schedules and choosing the drought tolerant vegetation. We are especially grateful that they squeezed us in to their busy schedule and the work was done efficiently with a very polished end result. We highly recommend Streamline Landscape! read more
