One of the employees raised his voice at me several times when I questioned the quality of the completely obvious mistakes and lack of attention to detail. I had PGE come out and they said they would have raised it if it had been requested. Do not recommend.

I really appreciated that he was always available to answer my questions. Matthew also went out of his way to ensure the materials we liked were acquired for the project. He ensured that everything was to our liking and was meticulous in his walk-throughs and made sure everything was completed perfectly. Leo and his team worked super hard and diligently. He paid close attention to detail and didn't rush any part of the remodel. During demolition he was super careful not to damage my property and always asked for our opinion/permission before installing or completing a part of the remodel. Overall I have more projects in mind for my house and will be enlisting Matthew and his team in the future. My wife and I are super happy with our new landscape. Thank you Matthew and Leo!

Had this company seal cracks and put slurry on large driveway in Pleasant Hill. Very disappointed…read morewith the job. Many small cracks remained unsealed and seal coating was extremely thin resulting in underlining marks and seals showing through like a road map. Looked pretty bad and the owner did not even ask me to check out the job when they finished. Just sent a worker for the payment and left. I had to go to local Home Depot and buy several additional cans of seal and spread it myself in order to get the driveway surface to look decent. Buyer beware with this company!! I'm giving these guys a perfect review in part to counteract the single very negative review here…read more My neighbor and I share a long, steep driveway here in Montclair, Oakland. North-Cal first gave us a fair estimate on the job that was very detailed and clear on the process (unlike other bids). These guys worked long and hard to do the job right. They started at 8am with a crew of 5-7 and worked a 12-hour day to finish it up right. They took their lunch breaks in shifts to keep the job rolling. Paving is a multi-step process and they kept returning to problem areas to soften the asphalt and smooth it out until it was perfect. Unfortunately their spreader broke down near the bottom of the driveway but that didn't stop them! They completed the last few feet BY HAND, well after dark. They could have bailed and said "good enough", but that's clearly not how this company rolls! Highly recommend.
