North-Cal first gave us a fair estimate on the job that was very detailed and clear on the process (unlike other bids). These guys worked long and hard to do the job right. They started at 8am with a crew of 5-7 and worked a 12-hour day to finish it up right. They took their lunch breaks in shifts to keep the job rolling. Paving is a multi-step process and they kept returning to problem areas to soften the asphalt and smooth it out until it was perfect. Unfortunately their spreader broke down near the bottom of the driveway but that didn't stop them! They completed the last few feet BY HAND, well after dark. They could have bailed and said "good enough", but that's clearly not how this company rolls! Highly recommend.

I wish I could go back in time and go with a different company. Our concrete is horrible. Weeks…read moreafter it was poured there were cracks and splotchy spots everywhere. Fast forward almost two years later, it has gotten worse. I'm very disappointed as we were very nice and accommodating with them and even provided food and beverages while it was hot outside. We got a few different quotes and they were all within the same price range but with the good reviews this team had I thought it was the best choice. WRONG! They also said they can come back and re pour an also to fix a couple other things and we followed up twice and they never showed up. I feel like we were robbed and have decided to consider seeking legal advice on how to go about this. I'll update with more pictures soon. Don't give them your business! I'll be updating with new pictures to see how bad it is.
