i cannot say enough about what a good job the crew that did my work was. They were kind curtious promp and very professiona. I work in Real Estate and would advise my clients with Foundation issues to use this company. NorCal Foundation did a fantastic job. Sincerely read more

I contracted Norcal Foundation Support in July 2025 for what was supposed to be a two-week, $52,130 foundation stabilization project at my hillside home. What followed was nearly a year of mismanagement, broken commitments, and financial consequences I'm still dealing with. They no-showed on the agreed start date. I called them at 10am to find out why -- they told me they were stuck on another job. No warning, no proactive communication. It only got worse from there. The job stretched into months of sporadic work. Midway through, they told me they needed a subcontractor for core drilling -- something that should have been identified during scoping -- then let months pass without scheduling one. My property sat in a hazardous state the entire time: open holes covered only by wood boards, piles of excavated dirt, debris, and equipment surrounded by caution tape. My homeowner's insurance company conducted a routine inspection, found the condition of my property unacceptable, threatened to drop my policy, and ultimately imposed a $2,000 surcharge. Resolving that took significant time and effort. Faced with no resolution in sight, I was pressured into accepting a reduced scope of work -- specifically, no tiebacks. Tiebacks were explicitly included in my signed contract and shown on the job drawing. Without them, there is no guarantee my home will remain stable on the hillside. I paid $52,130 for a project that does not solve my problem. After agreeing to the reduced plan, it took more months to redraw plans and pull permits, then more weeks to schedule the final visit to seal holes and reconnect drainage. On that scheduled day, they no-showed. Again. When they arrived the next day, they left without finishing. Their excuse: my gardener had told them not to proceed. My gardener -- someone I know well and trust -- told me he said no such thing. Norcal did not just take direction from someone with no authority over my contract. They fabricated an excuse to walk off the job. This company demonstrated the same pattern of behavior from the very first day to the very last: no communication, no accountability, and no follow-through. read more

NorCal Foundation support did a beautiful job for my doublewide driveway. They accommodated my scheduling request. The crew showed up early and the pounding to break up the drive was not as noisy as I thought it would be. Next day rebar was installed and then cement truck showed up to pour the cement. The crew were professional. Then the magic begun to smooth out the cement and turn it into the awesome driveway I now have! Great experience! read more

I don't understand how companies stay in business when they provide a quote, you communicate you want to move forward, then you never hear from them again. Wild. I wanted to hire NorCal Foundation Support for a lobby floor repair, but repeated follow-ups did not get the project scheduled. Communication timeline (because the screenshot was removed by the business/yelp): - August 19: Asked when to expect the estimate. - August 20: Received an estimate for floor leveling and crack sealing, with an optional ground penetrating radar scan. - September 1: Asked to proceed without the radar scan. Requested a contract with an available start date - September 1: Also contacted customer service to request follow-up about scheduling. - September 2: Customer service said they would contact the specialist about sending contract. The specialist separately replied that he would check the requested language with his office and update the proposal. - September 16: After no further follow-up, contacted both again. Explained that I still wanted to hire the company but would need to move to another vendor. - September 16: Customer service apologized and promised to ask the specialist to contact me ASAP. It is now October... read more

NorCal Foundation Support recently did an exceptional job installing 21 support piers to stabilize and lift parts of my home in Grass Valley, CA. Juan, the foreman was knowledgable, friendly and led a professional crew that was prompt, courteous, polite, and efficient. They completed the heavy-duty pier installation with few problems and handled unexpected site changes quickly. Upon completion they left the property in a clean and orderly way. I now have peace of mind about the structural integrity of my home. A job well done by a company I highly recommend read more

I had made an appointment for them to come look at my slab foundation. The night before the appointment, the person who was supposed to come out called me and said he was double scheduled and had to cancel me. I sent him photos of the issue and he said he'd talk to his superior about the issue and have the office reschedule my appointment. This was nearly 2 weeks ago and I never heard from them. Guess they don't want my business! read more

My specialist was Scott Cone. Although I did not work with them for foundation work or repairs, I had a great experience having Scott do my initial consultation. He showed up on time, was very respectful of my home and professional. Not pushy at all, and very easy to speak with. High compliments for Scott! read more

After decades of winter storms producing standing water in our crawlspace, with French drains and gutters doing their best, NorCal Foundation Support offered a top quality system for channeling standing water under an encapsulated liner to a sump pump. Steven and his team prepped the space and installed the system with professionalism and at a standard of quality I had hoped for and came to expect. Though this is an expensive undertaking and a home investment you don't get to see to enjoy, the research I've done suggests NorCal Foundation Support is in line with methods and cost. I learned a lot from 'Crawlspace Ninja' on YouTube. You might check that out if you're considering this approach to your wet crawlspace. Working with this company was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I signed my contract in August and today on 3/22/26 the work is finally complete. The communication is absolutely horrible, if you get any at all. With repeated attempts to follow up on my project, I kept getting the same answer that they were waiting on permitting, but on two separate occasions, over two separate issues, with two separate time spans, that was incorrect and the delay was a failure to complete the correct paperwork to even submit to the city. This caused months of delays that were unnecessary. They did damage to my electrical, but only would accept responsibility when I pushed back. The work took weeks longer than originally anticipated. All of these things I can understand, but again the terrible communication made the situation so much worse than it needed to be. The technicians who performed the work were very nice and worked their butts off. They walked onto my project totally unprepared for the work involved, even though two representatives were under my house on two separate occasions and could have assessed the work needed. I could keep going, but no one reads long reviews and I am hoping to save someone the headache I went through. read more

In todays day and age it can be difficult to find a company who is resourceful, who puts the clients interest in front of theirs, and who completes a beautiful job as expected. Staff were a pleasure to work with, workers very trustworthy. Imagine that in 2024. Thank you NorCal Foundation Support for your great work. read more

I've never owned a raised foundation home before and was concerned about a crack the inspector had found earlier in the year. Ray came out and did a full inspection of the home, in, around, and under, while explaining what he was doing and happily answering my questions. Thankfully for me, it turned out the crack was nothing to be concerned about and he explained why. He gave me a straightforward run down of how much it would be to fill and the cost-benefit of doing so. He also gave me helpful information on how to better water-seal my basement and said he would keep my information just in case water does actually come through in the winter. Super helpful, professional, and honest. Knock on wood I'll not need any foundation work any time soon, but if I ever do I'm calling Ray at NorCal Foundation Support. read more

Augie and his team did a great job of filling the voids underneath our house's apron slabs and were careful to keep everything clean as the work progressed. Also fixed two large cracks with very good-looking patches. Totally satisfied with the job. read more

Their support was fast and easy to connect. Scott Cone was assigned to do the assessment for my project. He was really helpful. He showed up on time, did his calculation after doing all the measurements and gave me a rate upfront. Service was fast and reliable. Scott was very courteous and friendly. Got me a quote, measured and made sure to answer all of my questions.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of the repair work on my 100- year old foundation. I can honestly recommend NorCal to anyone needing foundation repair work. read more

I had an excellent experience with Scott from NorCal Foundation Support. Very personable, professional, efficient, and made sure to clearly explain his findings so I had a full understanding of everything he inspected. Since writing our 1st review, here's the update. The piers are still holding but the 15K plus I spent on their Smart Jack installation under the house was a complete joke and waste of money. Instead of putting a couple beams under the house to even out the piers, they told me at the last minute that we didn't need it. I found out later that they just wanted to finish our job so they could move on to the next. (That wasn't true. I actually NEEDED the beams). All the problems that I had in the middle of the floor still exist with little to no effect after the work performed. On top of that, nobody from the company has ever reached out to try and make it right. If you are impressed with these other fake reviews of happy clients that didn't actually order any work, great. But if you actually want to hear from someone who actually worked with them, you'll hear the same message, PLEASE stay away. read more

Ray arrived on-time, performed a thorough inspection and gave me the good news that our foundation was fine. He was friendly and professional, and obviously operates with a high degree of integrity. My review is based on the the interaction I had with the company and not on work provided as the scope of the work I needed did not match the work the company offers as they are more of a foundation repair and help you avoid potential foundation problems. But my communication on the company was great. I had a consultation with Darby and his professionalism and knowledge was amazing. Gathering from my interactions with this company I would reccomend that you give them a call if you're getting foundation repair quotes. read more

Scott was a great help! Looking forward to working with you all! Super handy support materials

Sloppy and unprofessional work. Do not use this company. First they routed the sump discharge hose through a vent and left space for animals to come in through. My house already already had a dedicated route for a discharge hose. When I complained about it, they sloppily sealed it as pictured. Communication is also poor, I have no desire to even try to communicate with them again, will have someone else fix this. read more

I would stay away from this company. I was working with Alex Duncan and he gave me multiple wrong estimates and then gave me a million reasons why he didn't get back to me, said he was going to make it right, then ghosted me. Too bad they could be a good company if they just responded. I ended up buying piers from Home Depot and leveling by myself. read more

This company is really bad. Please stay away. They were slightly less expensive than the other bids we got and we liked the sales guy who came out. He seemed knowledgeable. They told us they could start in 3 months. Almost a year later they started. They would give us a start date and then go radio silent. When we would call to confirm the week before they would screen our calls and then finally when we called from blocked numbers they would answer and tell us they weren't going to be there and give us another date. Rinse and repeat. That happened multiple times. When work did finally start. They told us it would take 3 weeks and it took 3 months. They would show up with two guys who would work 3 hours and then go home for the day. On top of that, the quality of their work was really bad. Our floors are still not level, they left brackets exposed, told us it was their first time pouring concrete (we could tell with how bad it looked), left trash in our crawl space, and ruined our subfloor. This is the worst company and we regret so much not going with someone else. STAY AWAY read more

I requested NorCal inspect my San Ramon single family home for foundation problems. Ray Anderson performed the inspection and advised my home is level within acceptable tolerances. Mr Anderson also inspected the house interior/exterior and crawl space and did not find any significant concerns. I appreciate Mr Anderson's honest assessment and his considerate thoughtful discussion. I also appreciate the foundation science overview he provided which gave me a better understanding of foundation problems and solutions. Thank You. read more

Below is a text that I sent to the owner. He never responded. Also, one additional important point is that we were unable to refinance our mortgage for 18 months because of an open permit on our house due to NORCAL'S malfeasance. So, BEWARE. Hi, Mat Phelps - I am reaching out to you before I leave a review about your company, which will be similar to what I write below. Before I continue, I want to commend your employees, from Justin and Gonzalo as well as everyone who came out and worked on our home. They are all top notch individuals. We just received a call from Terry regarding the fact that us signing off on the other 16000 is being held up because of the defects in the concrete. Terry was very diplomatic in his discussion with me, although there was a slight "it was your fault" type of attitude which I did not appreciate. The reason I didn't appreciate that is because going back to when your guys cut one of the post tension cables, your company had the audacity to blame us for picking the engineer when we chose the engineer who you recommended. Additionally, as you know, this job, from the time we contracted with you to the time it was finished, was well over 18 months, which, by anyone's standards, is totally unacceptable. Also, your company was nonresponsive to our calls and emails until I mentioned, as an attorney, that I was considering possible litigation. Furthermore, Matt Kasperger had the temerity to say that the company was not making any margins off this work, which I totally do not believe. I do not like being bullshitted, and that's a major reasons for this text. Thus, out of courtesy, I am sending you this text message to give you a chance to respond before I post public reviews. My husband found NorCal Foundation Support on Yelp and decided to give them a whirl since they offer a free evaluation and we were looking to see if we needed some seismic retrofitting to make our house strong for any potential earthquakes. Darby, the specialist, came on time and evaluated our entire house with some sort of machine. He was there for a solid 2 hours being extremely thorough including all the nooks and crannies. Thankfully he gave us a good report, our house is pretty sturdy and we don't need any additional support. He offered one suggestion about a little dip in a hall way and a rough broad range estimate. He also assured us it was not safety oriented, but more just to keep it getting from worse, and it was a fair amount. Overall, we were extremely impressed with Norcal's professionalism and acumen and suggest you use them. We will for sure head to them first for any reason in the future. read more

Stay away from this company. They may be OK for major expensive jobs but not for my job which was a foundation moisture leak. I contacted them on July 31. Was scheduled for an estimate on August 25 changed to August 28 and told the job would be scheduled for 3 weeks after the estimate. I was pleased with the understanding of the job and the estimate. They went into the crawl space and showed me pictures of a crack in the foundation and explained how they would patch the crack and deal with the source of the leak externally by redoing the concrete next the house and closing the external leak. I told them I was wanting them to do the work (after 3 estimates). I was sent a pdf contract to sign a few days later. I called the contact who had done the estimate to say I couldn't sign the pdf document online or pay the down payment online and was told I would get a contract I could sign and a way to pay the 10% down payment online. After more than 3 weeks no contact. I called the company number and was told I would be contacted. Within minutes I received 2 online links for payment and a contract to sign that did not include the work contract only legal mumbo jumbo get out of jail free. The name on the email was not from the company. I called the contact number and was given a run around that the work order MUST be at the bottom. I said I wanted to schedule the work and would pay and sign when I had a contract that included the work order and a schedule date for the job. I was told they would not give a schedule date until I made the 10% down payment. I said I was told the job would be done in 3 weeks and it was know almost 3 weeks later. The guy wanted me to pay over the phone which I refused. After I got off the phone I got an email saying the project was voided. Reason: it was incorrect. Initially the company was listed in Santa Rosa CA. Later it was listed in Fairfield. The contact that I spoke to was in Arizona with a different business name and the owner of the company lives in another state. This company is a scam. Needs to be reported read more

The service has been very unprofessional since the beginning. It was an uphill battle to get them onsite. I was promised the moon the stars and the sky and got nothing near this. First of all, it's not inexpensive. The office kept changing the date. When they finally got out the team was great, but they definitely need more training and better leadership. The issues started immediately, my Sump pump was installed, but no plan was set with me the owner to have them plugged in ands working. Second, the pumps have an alarm. It was going off since Thursday. Called the owner and the owner stated he didn't have anyone that can come over the weekend. The fix was simply to remove the safety alarm that was on the pump, but not resolve the problem. one of the drains for the sump pump was left over concrete slab. After they initially said all drains would be left where easily accessible and w/o major modifications. Cutting slab was not part of the agreement. Very expensive service, they finished by not being able to complete our mutually agreed contract. They have also not addressed any of my concerns. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Very difficult to work with and very unprofessional. A big expense to get such poor performance in return. I wouldn't do business with them again. One more point, they installed a second pump. Which was odd, because they were only addressing maybe 1/3 of what was originally promised and mutually agreed upon on the contract. I asked one of the employees if he thought the second was necessary. He said "Honestly I don't! It was here and we installed it.". read more

I called them out for an evaluation on our foundation. Upon arriving he got straight to work, asked all the questions needed. I provided all the answers. That used a tour reader to test the foundation. He explained to me that there was no signs of cracking in the walls and that the flooring was reading. Add an acceptable number.
