They blamed it on a faulty hubcap. It's funny that I never had any problems with it for thousands of miles in rain or snow. The next day I drove less than sixty miles and lost the hubcap from the other tire they mounted! The hubcaps cost more than the $30 I paid for the work they performed. I should probably re-torque the lug nuts that they said wouldn't need retightening. Followup: After this review I was contacted by the owner and was referred to the local manager. I got two tires I owned mounted and balanced for free and another $30 off an alignment that is already the lowest price in town. Still not pleased with my original visit, but at least they tried to make it up to me.

They did not balance correctly and the truck would vibrate bad at highway speed. I brought the truck back 3 times. The third time they told me I had a bent rim and my ball joints were bad. They insisted this is why I was getting the vibration. I did not believe this clearly because I had them serviced not long ago, come to find out these are common excu small shops make to fool people away from tire issues.They only road forced/ balanced two tires even though the appointment was for all four. They refused to do the rear balanced when pressed. I finally had enough with this shop and brought it to a name brand flagship dealer. After inspectio-No bent rims no bad ball joints. just a really bad match mount and balance job. they fixed the issue in under 2 hours vs bringing it to this tire shop 3 times with no success. Inexperienced younger people with tempers. Won't be back ever again. lesson learned. spend the extra at a place with experienced employees.

I called VIP to get their price, they quoted me about the same price as Amazon, but the awesome part is, they install it at no charge if you purchase the bulb there (or at O'Reilly's auto parts, in same establishment. It does not matter, VIP charges you and does the installation.) This, to me, was an amazing deal. The fog lights in my car are no picnic to get to. Doing it myself looked like an incredible pain in the ass. Here at VIP, they took me right in, put my car on the lift, and had new bulb installed very quickly. Apparently, they offer many of these small, but convenient, free services. The staff at this location are very customer service oriented. I had avoided VIP for a number of years because most of my business had been done at their Sabattus St. location, and the staff gives you more of that typical, busy mechanics, "we don't need your business" kind of attitude and they assume you are stupid. My recent visit to the Lisbon St. location gave me a whole new respect for this business, and is probably where I will continue to go. Thank you!

Scott was friendly and communicative. I dropped my truck off with a one hour-ish time frame and picked it up at about 4:15. They had replaced a bulb and made a very minor repair to my tail light. They didn't call me to verify but it was $5 whereas most places would tell you the enter part needed replacing so no harm there. All in it was $20 and 90min so I was very happy. I asked why no one called me and they apologized and said they were busy. I brought my vehicle back to the Subaru dealer to complete the state inspection. The car failed again and to quote the auto service repair technician, "I don't know how they could miss these additional holes as they are obvious." They marked the locations of the holes and I returned to Meineke again to have the holes in the exhaust fixed. Meineke offered no discount and really didn't seem to care that they messed up. My vehicle passed inspection but the Subaru dealer noted that Meineke welded the entire exhaust system together. The original exhaust comes in four separate sections so you can replace just one section if it wears out. So Meineke did poor quality work and didn't own up to the issues they caused.

The entire appointment was exactly 59 minutes. Not only that, when it came time to pay what should have been about $60, I was told it was all covered by the warranty on my Cooper Tires. They knew they would do it for free and still treated me just as good as a paying customer. In this day and age, that's something really worth noting. As a result, I will be using them regularly from now on. Their prices are reasonable, the work good and the staff is very good. This is the type of place I'd send my mother to for her car service. A most egregious sequence of events…read more Agreed upon full day drop off for battery replacement; car did not start up right upon pick up, had faith, and it was dead upon morning. Had to Uber kids to school, call roadside assistance for jump. Was not told until back in person that the reason was THEY NEVER REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT SEE IT ON THE PAPERWORK. This was the sole issue that had been discussed for 2 days prior. I'm still pleasant at this point; walk home. Receive call ACCUSING me of not giving them my keys; they strongly believe this because "I gave them the car running". I'm like duh, the battery's dead, that was a convenience TO YOU. At this point, I say "you already didn't render services upon payment in full and now you're telling me you lost my keys, why would I believe you?" I hung up, I'm on my way. On the way on my child's scooter, I get a VM, of course they found the keys. Pete(?) meets me outside, hands me keys, tries to show me "what happened". As I'm already getting in my car, he says "I don't appreciate you hollering at my guy". Well, I don't like the false security of being sent off for paid services not rendered and then getting accused of lying and the possible stress of lost keys on top! Wow!
