Best food around! Always open, great service, good portions, and clean. I haven't had anything I didn't love, especially love their soup.

Went here on a Friday to grab some coffee and do some work for a little while. There is an…read moreextensive coffee list and I was impressed to see that they had two regular drip coffee options and two decaf drip options. Not everyday you get this many choices for drip coffee! The drip coffee is a little more expensive, but you do get one free refill. I didn't end up getting any food, but the baked goods looked fantastic and the food coming out of the kitchen also looked pretty good. The place was pretty busy when I first got there around 10, but then cleared out to just a few people coming and going. The wifi held out strong for my Zoom meeting and getting some work done. Overall, good coffee, lots of variety of food and drinks, and staff was very friendly. Decent place to stop in Marshfield for work, study, or just meeting up with friends.

It hurts my soul to write this.. I have been going to The Daily Grind since I was a child. I…read morestudied for college tests here when I was home from school and I have tried to support them since living here as an adult. Every time I go, the service gets slower, the coffee quality is worse, and now even simple orders are inedible. Yesterday, at a time when there were maybe 3 other tables, I waited 40 minutes for my omelet and bacon. The omelet was closer to scrambled eggs, and the bacon so burnt it couldn't be eaten. As a cook, how can you turn this out to be eaten? And as a server, don't you question how terrible it looks and choose not to serve it. Ten years ago, 5 stars... standing alone yesterday I would have given it 3 or 4 and called it a fluke.. Now I am ONLY giving 2 because it holds nostalgia for me. I think my continued attempt to patronize The Daily Grind has come to an end :(

First time here. We were on our way to Minneapolis and decided to stop for a couple of hot…read morebeverages. The place is part of a larger co-op. Inside you'll find a gift shop offering Wisconsin-themed items, along with a fridge that has different meats and sausages. There are conference rooms that look like they could be rented or used for small groups. In the middle of all this is the coffee shop. The coffee shop itself is not a large operation. There are some very nice seating options that include high tops, tables, and couches. The windows let in a lot of natural light. There is merchandise that includes shirts, coffee, and accessories. There were a few other people inside, and everyone was having quiet conversations. Got a nice greeting from the baristas. It looked like one of them was in training. Ordered a couple of London Fog Tea Lattes (a little lavender, a little vanilla, extra foam) in a mug. I would normally get a piece of pastry, and prefer a scone, but they didn't offer those, so I skipped that. The senior staffer was doing a nice job helping the trainee with the recipe and process. It seemed to be a helpful and caring relationship between the two. After a few minutes, we got our drinks. We usually just get the drink in a mug, but our drinks were made in a small coffee urn, and we were able to pour them after they finished steeping. That was a nice option. The drinks had nice flavor with the extra foam. However, they were just barely warm. We decided to drink them, but I did mention this to one of the staff afterward. It's a nice place to hang out. Next time I would definitely mention or ask for my latte to be hotter (around 130°F to 145°F).
