The noise level is reasonable, and it's easy to have a conversation. They have an extensive coffee menu, including tea lattes. But the one thing that really stood out was the bakery selection. They have items called Cornetto, which look like croissants. I was told they're similar and used in similar ways (fillings, glazes, etc.). We ended up getting a coffee, a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), a Custard Danish, and an Apple Almond Scone. It didn't take long to get our order, and everything was amazingly good. The London Fog was made with loose-leaf tea and steeped well. The pastries were fresh, large, and very yummy. Everything was also very reasonably priced (you spend way more than this in most places -- and that's not something I usually fixate on). Excellent experience. Friendly service, excellent food and drinks, great value, and a warm atmosphere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be the metal chairs -- I just didn't find them very comfortable. It hurts my soul to write this.. I have been going to The Daily Grind since I was a child. Every time I go, the service gets slower, the coffee quality is worse, and now even simple orders are inedible. Yesterday, at a time when there were maybe 3 other tables, I waited 40 minutes for my omelet and bacon. The omelet was closer to scrambled eggs, and the bacon so burnt it couldn't be eaten. As a cook, how can you turn this out to be eaten? And as a server, don't you question how terrible it looks and choose not to serve it. Ten years ago, 5 stars... standing alone yesterday I would have given it 3 or 4 and called it a fluke.. Now I am ONLY giving 2 because it holds nostalgia for me. I think my continued attempt to patronize The Daily Grind has come to an end :(

There is an…read moreextensive coffee list and I was impressed to see that they had two regular drip coffee options and two decaf drip options. Not everyday you get this many choices for drip coffee! The drip coffee is a little more expensive, but you do get one free refill. I didn't end up getting any food, but the baked goods looked fantastic and the food coming out of the kitchen also looked pretty good. The place was pretty busy when I first got there around 10, but then cleared out to just a few people coming and going. The wifi held out strong for my Zoom meeting and getting some work done. Overall, good coffee, lots of variety of food and drinks, and staff was very friendly. Decent place to stop in Marshfield for work, study, or just meeting up with friends.
