Welcoming cute little store and cafe. As you walk in, you would mistake it for an eclectic gift store which it is and more. Stopped in for a quick coffee break and loved the menu and the host. Wish I was hungry enough to try their food. Don't miss this place if you are driving on Highway 29 to or from Wisconsin.

ham & cheese panini potato salad

We both had potato salad. Husband had the ham & cheese panini and I had the apple cheddar ham panini. Everything was excellent. The restaurant was clean, neat/cool atmosphere. The service was great. Everybody was really nice. This place is by far worth searching out. We drive between mn and wi a lot. This is now one of our favorite places, and will be our stop if we are eating. The breakfast menu looked great also. If your doing a road trip, there is NO need to stop at any fast foods. This food is WAY better, and doesn't take long at all. Try this place..........you will be glad you did!!!!!

Counter service with a delightful atmosphere!

Driving across Wisconsin between the UP and MInneapolis looking for a place to stop for lunch. Saw the billboard for Aroma Cafe and stopped in Thorp. Great atmosphere with gift shop, florist, and counter service -- a surprisingly diverse and appealing menu. Ordered salmon Caesar salad and a turkey pesto with Gouda wrap -- and a burger for the man! Friendly service and reasonable prices for healthy food. Can't beat $10 for a salmon Caesar! They have a separate breakfast menu that looks yummy too. Will definitely be back when we cross Wisconsin next.

The jalapeño popper burger with chips and the ham and apple panini with a side of salad. Both were super yummy!

We found Aroma café on Yelp while driving across WI on highway 29. It had all 5 star reviews, which is a rare thing, so we had to check it out. Well the place did not disappoint and we are adding our 5 star review too! Aroma is a cafe, coffee shop, and gift/floral shop run by a super welcoming husband and wife duo. The menu is huge for a small town cafe (see photo attached), with lots of creative/tasty sounding options. The service is quick and friendly, and the food fresh, hot, and delicious. It didn't take long for our food to be prepared, but during the short wait we enjoyed browsing in the gift shop area. They even have a drive thru window if you are in a hurry and don't want to get out of your car. Be sure to give Aroma a try, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Kelly Grill - A close up of the bourbon burger, enjoyed on the table side of the grill. On the other side of the fence is a cute bar area.

A Hidden Gem in Stanley…read more We came to town for Rock Fest and ended up eating breakfast at Kelly Grill three days in a row--and honestly, we're still thinking about it back home in Ohio! At first glance, it feels like a quiet, cozy neighborhood spot, but the welcome we received as out-of-towners was top-tier. The staff and locals were incredibly warm, engaging in great conversation and giving us fantastic advice on the local area. Now, the food: absolute gourmet bistro-level breakfast. Every plate was cooked to perfection and way exceeded expectations for a small-town grill. Plus, having a full bar available to complement whatever you order is a fantastic touch. It might be a small corner shop, but it made a massive impression on us. If you're anywhere near Stanley, do not pass this place up!

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole, bacon and cheddar cheese. I am celiac and asked them to just leave off the bun. Man oh man, this was excellent! We were both pleasantly surprised about this small town diner. Totally recommend stopping here! Service was top notch too!
