Carrot cake & Cinnamon Roll

UCC was one of our favorite finds during our week long training visit to Marshfield, WI. It's open & spacious with high ceilings & various seating areas throughout. You can sit at small-two person tables, longer tables, find a corner with benches or cozy arm chairs. There's also a space which looks like it can accommodate a study group or meet up. They feature coffee, tea, wines, lemonade, hot chocolate, and baked goods. We couldn't resist the sign at the counter featuring the seasonal drinks - Toasted Marshmallow Latte or Maple Pumpkin Latte. Yum! Both were delicious as was the chai latte I ordered the next morning. As far as food, my coworker and I devoured a cinnamon roll & carrot muffin but my only wish was an option to fulfill my craving for something savory instead of sweet. Perhaps offering quiche or something else in the future? Anyway, big kudos to this new, family-owned business. It's owned by a husband and wife team that took their passion for speciality coffee to the next level. They visited various coffee shops & roasters during their family trips & took relevant coursework. I read online that the owners' two daughters helped design and paint the coffee shop's interior while other family members crafted the tables & countertops and designed the company logo. Location: corner of E Veterans Parkway & S. Central Avenue. Parking: Parallel parking along S. Central Ave or the back parking lot entrance is off Veterans

Newer place that opened in Marshfield when I was in town visiting. Nice ambience. Tasty but slightly pricey drinks. In addition, I tried to sign up for the rewards system, but because it was new, glitched quite a bit and I ended up giving up on it. Nice atmosphere and good addition to a small city.

First time here and it's cute! Lots of seating plus tables outside in the back. I had a caramel latte and a blueberry lemon muffin and both were really good. Pretty straightforward menu with some muffins and pies to eat.

Salted Carmel Cold Foam Cold Brew, try this or the Pumpkin Cold Foam Cold Brew is supper yummy as well!!

This is my favorite place to go for my daily pick me up, great atmosphere, and the most friendly staff a person could hope for!! If your not a Monday morning person like me, stop by Uptown and try some of their awesome drinks to get you moving, I have tried many and never been disappointed. This morning I needed a little sweet and salty so I went with the Salted Carmel Cold Foam Cold Brew! As always it tasted awesome, and I got to have some good conversation with barista Neale while she made my drink! Such friendly staff that work at Uptown, and best of all its family owned and operated! I love supporting our small businesses, especially when they provide consistent good products!! If you want something hot try the Flat White, another one of my go to's and always tasty!!!

Loved this place! As a vegan, it's hard to find places that I can have coffee. But they also had chocolate chip vegan cookies! I was so happy and they were so good! Super good coffee and cookies and the place was very pretty inside and out. 10/10!

Amazing Atmosphere, great coffee, delicious pastries. Thank you Vicki for a warm and welcoming cup of coffee!

I would normally get a piece of pastry, and prefer a scone, but they didn't offer those, so I skipped that.

BIGGBY COFFEE - Big chunks of ice in a blended drink

BIGGBY COFFEE

While ordering only 2 drinks we were asked to repeat what type of drink we wanted 4 times for the…read more1st one 3 times we had to tell them if it was iced or hot. When we said hot they informed us they were out of hot lids so we switched it to iced (no biggie but why not tell us before?). For our 2nd order we also had to repeat what it was and if we wanted it hot or iced to which we ordered it frozen (wasn't asked either time if we wanted it frozen but other Biggbys always ask). When we got to the window we were told they were out of an ingredient for one drink which we told them it was okay. They then asked what the other 2 flavors for the drink was as they couldn't find it and we told them (no biggie turns out it was taken off the menu within the last month or 2). We paid then was told they were out of an ingredient for the 2nd drink. My husband picked a new drink and got questioned for all of the specifications again. Took awhile to get but I suspect it was just her there (no other customers in drive thru and I think inside was also empty). When we got our drinks they weren't labeled and our frozen was made iced and our iced was made frozen. I think this girl was new and might have needed more training and not put on solo. Also, maybe some new headphones or microphones if the employees are struggling to hear people order at the drive thru even after speaking up, slowing down, and saying 1 thing about the order at a time. Not mad or upset at the girl, I just think the location needs a bit more help.

Initial review of Biggby Marshfield , WI: I have been a…read moreBiggby customer for years. I prefer their coffee over any other coffee shop. I have seen it go through different owners and management. Of course when you are a customer for as long as I have been you are bound to see the good and bad. Recently I saw the ugly. My mom and I have been frequent customers of Biggby especially during Covid and after that as a break from the demands of her having an ill husband and me from having an autistic and severely anxious son. We really enjoyed our time together and our Biggby frozen drinks. Recently we went to the restaurant and did our normal order. We got up to the window and paid and gave a tip as we always do. We asked for a receipt for our savings apps. My mom noticed the receipt said no whip or garnish on one of the drinks. I kept peering in the window to flag a barista down. No one in sight. I am disabled so I took my rubber cane tip and tapped on the window. I didn't want to do that hard so I tapped a little harder on the metal shelf. I got a baristas attention and waved her over. I explained that the order on the receipt was wrong and wanted to let her know so that they didn't have to fix the order. No issues...drive on our way. When we got to our next stop I noticed a message from Biggby. The owner accused me of using a stick like object to bang on her place of business. I couldn't believe what I was reading. As a result of that, I was banned from her business forever. I did nothing wrong and was instantly accused of banging on her business. Couldn't be further from the truth. I went home and cried because of how I was accused and spoken to. She took away something that my mom and I have shared as a special time together especially since my dad died in January. Yes, there are other coffee shops. I just wanted to let people know what kind of person the owner is. She then tried to deface me on Facebook accusing me of not being accepting of the Pride movement. That is absolutely not true as I have close relatives who are gay and transgender. If you are not in agreement with her beliefs and views, apparently you will be blocked. Anyway, the coffee is usually really good. The inside atmosphere is a bit loud with the music, and so many of the baristas over the years have been super! However, a bunch of the good ones quit when the current owner bought the place. Because I was banned for nothing I did wrong, I give this Biggby a big thumbs down. **owners response** To anyone who has read this understand there are 2 sides to every story and this one has a crying 14 year old employee on the other side. Susan was not gentle at tapping a shelf. She banged on a glass window so loud it's on our security cameras. The employees who were working were scared and then berated by Susan. This isn't a one off instance. Susan likes to send in complaints about any younger employees to get free drinks after she has drank almost all of her drink. She has been a customer for many years and in the past has been banned but then allowed back when managers feel bad for her. We have had to warn employees about her behavior and make sure that her special drink is written down with exacting specific details. Way more than anyone else we have ever had. Now we do have many regulars with special drinks and have things they like a certain way and we always strive to make sure their drinks are custom. Unlike Susan, we don't have warn any of our employees about them. We don't have make sure an older employee who dealt with Susan before is the one to interact with her. We as a staff and store are tired of having to walk on egg shells around her and have decided for your sanity and our work environment we will not accept Susan as a customer any more. **my update** Update: Unfortunately when you put a review online the owner of the store can reply and say a bunch of lies about you. I have added some of the pictures I have sent Biggby in the past that are the supposed ones I drank most of and then complained. The point of the picture was to show the huge chunks of ice in the bottom which shouldn't be in a blended coffee. A few others were of thick slush at the bottom that we weren't able to drink. I also included a nice comment a barista made to me. There is a screen shot of my dog that Biggby posted on their Facebook. It was actually a video of my dog going crazy about going to Biggby because they all loved her and gave her pup cups. What the owner said about me was unprofessional and lies. She sent me several messages on my messenger threatening me. I had to call the police because she had me so rattled. I have never had an issue with any employee. When my dad was alive he used to order a "Nancy and a Susan" and got the biggest kick out of them knowing our drinks.

My mom asked the other lady if there was some covers.About 5 minutes later, my mom looked into one of the cupboards, and there it was! My mom grabbed the covers for the size of cups we had, and opened the bag. Then of course that lady came at that moment and said that they didn't want people going in the cupboards. Then, she went back to the counter, and while she was going back, I feel like she purposely bumped into me. That is why this trip to starbucks went VERY bad. I also think it was because she didn't like us.
