Well, I hurt my lower back really bad right before a full day of dogwalks and didn't have a chiropractor. Ted (Dr. please!!) first put me on decompression machines to pull and relieve my spine. Second week was my first manipulation which was spectacular. I never knew my neck could crack like that! I had…read morejust injured my back, the day before I went to the ER (which was a waste of $2,500) with crazy pain in my lower back. I couldn't feel my legs, I couldn't walk, sit or lay without crying in pain. I spoke to a friend who told me about Dr. Connelly. So I made an appointment, lied to my fiancé and told him I was okay so he wouldn't miss another day of work taking care of me, and drove myself to the appointment. I was shaking and sweating and tearing up when I was waiting because the more thats how much pain I was in. I was a wreck, they evaluated me and gave me some ice and did stimulus therapy, but it was deemed that I needed to heal a bit before it was okay that they touch me further, they didnt want to do more damage until I was stable enough to access the situation. Dr. Connelly asked me to be picked up by someone, because I couldn't even sit in a driving position anymore. To be honest I wasnt even sure if I could stand to move my feet between the brake and gas pedals. He said that he would drop by if it was okay with me to lend me a tens machine and check up on me and give me further instructions on what I can do before he can work on me. So he dropped by, told my sister how to help me around, gave me some tips, gave me a tens machine and told me he would see me soon. Now, I needed a referral to get it covered by my insurance. My primary doctor has a grudge against chiropractors so I couldn't get it from him. I tried visiting another doctor to get a referral, but everywhere was either not accepting my insurance or not accepting new patients. I called them and let them know "hey thanks for your help, but I can't afford to pay out of pocket and my insurance won't help me". I got a call back saying that they'll figure out a way to work with me financially so I can get the help I need. And they did so I could afford to go. Since the initial visit, I've seen Dr. Connelly a handful of times. He promised me within 3 visits I'll be back to normal. And he came through with his promise! I went a few times after that just for adjustments but unfortunately between traveling and work I havent had a ton of time for a visit. Regardless, I'm doing better than ever and since he got me back to working order Ive been able to keep up on my weightloss goals. Im able to go to the gym atleast 3 times a week and do zumba once a week, he showed stretches and exercises that have helped me continue to keep the back pain away. I don't know what I would have done without his help.

My last experience with the office staff was poor. Extremely condescending and rude. Dr did personally call to try to salvage my business but he chose his rude office staff over the patient saying he would "work" with her. If your office staff is rude and condescending to patients why would they be the face-voice of your business anyway? Lots of turnover here too- that speaks volumes. I guess the only time they seem to care is when you walk out- I was getting calls nonstop but when you are there? No appreciation. I've since had two other old school chiropractors who charge me next to nothing because I don't go through insurance. The one I saw was wonderful but fell ill and passed away- the other is amazing- Shout out to YOU DR JOSEPH WASHKO!! He also gives me plenty of time- I'm not rushed in and out like Dr C. It was a blessing in disguise- my last experience enabled me to find a far better value and comprehensive treatment. Sorry- not sorry.

When I asked for clarification, the responses felt vague (e.g., "muscle strain" or "tension") and did not provide a clear understanding of what was actually occurring. After seeking a second opinion, another chiropractor was able to perform an X-ray and provide a more detailed diagnosis in one visit than I received after three sessions at your office. Additionally, during my last visit I waited approximately 20 minutes before the massage therapist entered, and the treatment was performed on the opposite side of my body from where the injury was located. At that point I needed to leave to return to my daughter and did not have time to address it in the moment. I am also unclear about the $50 deposit I paid. I was told my insurance covered the sessions and that the $50 went toward a balance, but I was never informed what that balance was or provided with a receipt. They are super sketchy and evasive when talking about payments. Do not recommend.

I haven't needed an adjustment in over a year and suddenly woke on a Saturday with extreme neck pain. I called after office hours, left a message, he got back to me right away, and he took time out of his personal plans on Sunday to start treatment! In just two days, he helped resolve the extreme pain to dull/minor pain. Within a week, I was back to myself. He has a super clean office, wonderful staff and is able to squeeze you in last minute and still serve his core clients. I would have given 10 stars if it was available!

Since being under their treatment, I have noticed significant changes in my quality of sleep, mood, I have less headaches, and have noticed improvement in my posture. Everyone at this office is super friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your treatments and visits.
