I have had neck issues for over ten years and I am an Ironman and ultra marathon runner. I could only breathe on one side when swimming and my neck would cramp after 80 miles on the bike. After 6 weeks of neck therapy and physical therapy I can now breathe on both sides. My neck doesn't hurt anymore and I have full range motion. Ted (Dr. please!!) first put me on decompression machines to pull and relieve my spine. Second week was my first manipulation which was spectacular. I never knew my neck could crack like that! After 6 weeks I feel amazing, I swim better, I sleep better and I feel less stressed. My son has had ankle pain for almost a year so I decided to bring him: guess what?! I had…read morejust injured my back, the day before I went to the ER (which was a waste of $2,500) with crazy pain in my lower back. I couldn't feel my legs, I couldn't walk, sit or lay without crying in pain. I spoke to a friend who told me about Dr. Connelly. So I made an appointment, lied to my fiancé and told him I was okay so he wouldn't miss another day of work taking care of me, and drove myself to the appointment. I was shaking and sweating and tearing up when I was waiting because the more thats how much pain I was in. I was a wreck, they evaluated me and gave me some ice and did stimulus therapy, but it was deemed that I needed to heal a bit before it was okay that they touch me further, they didnt want to do more damage until I was stable enough to access the situation. Dr. Connelly asked me to be picked up by someone, because I couldn't even sit in a driving position anymore. To be honest I wasnt even sure if I could stand to move my feet between the brake and gas pedals. He said that he would drop by if it was okay with me to lend me a tens machine and check up on me and give me further instructions on what I can do before he can work on me. So he dropped by, told my sister how to help me around, gave me some tips, gave me a tens machine and told me he would see me soon. Now, I needed a referral to get it covered by my insurance. My primary doctor has a grudge against chiropractors so I couldn't get it from him. I tried visiting another doctor to get a referral, but everywhere was either not accepting my insurance or not accepting new patients. I called them and let them know "hey thanks for your help, but I can't afford to pay out of pocket and my insurance won't help me". I got a call back saying that they'll figure out a way to work with me financially so I can get the help I need. And they did so I could afford to go. Since the initial visit, I've seen Dr. Connelly a handful of times. He promised me within 3 visits I'll be back to normal. And he came through with his promise! I went a few times after that just for adjustments but unfortunately between traveling and work I havent had a ton of time for a visit. Regardless, I'm doing better than ever and since he got me back to working order Ive been able to keep up on my weightloss goals. Im able to go to the gym atleast 3 times a week and do zumba once a week, he showed stretches and exercises that have helped me continue to keep the back pain away. I don't know what I would have done without his help.

I had come in a few minutes early (as I always had without incident) and I was talked down to by the receptionist like I was a 2 year old - verbally scolded by a woman who was at least 20 years younger than me! I let that go but I was not happy! The following visit I was forced to wait and wait in a crowded waiting room for my last visit without any acknowledgment at all. But. . . But. . . isn't that so dangerous with the plague? I had even taken a half day from work!!! Finally I chose to walk the hell out. I did that and never came back. My last experience with the office staff was poor. Extremely condescending and rude. Dr did personally call to try to salvage my business but he chose his rude office staff over the patient saying he would "work" with her. If your office staff is rude and condescending to patients why would they be the face-voice of your business anyway? Lots of turnover here too- that speaks volumes. I guess the only time they seem to care is when you walk out- I was getting calls nonstop but when you are there? No appreciation. I've since had two other old school chiropractors who charge me next to nothing because I don't go through insurance. The one I saw was wonderful but fell ill and passed away- the other is amazing- Shout out to YOU DR JOSEPH WASHKO!! He also gives me plenty of time- I'm not rushed in and out like Dr C. It was a blessing in disguise- my last experience enabled me to find a far better value and comprehensive treatment. Sorry- not sorry.

I went through months of PT, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, and tried medication. None of these helped much at all. I still had DAILY feelings of rocking and swaying with accompanying nausea. After three of four adjustments using the equipment ONLY Dr. Newman has, I started to feel some relief. I completed my sessions and the cervical spine portion of the vestibular issues are much better. I will continue to come in to keep my cervical spine, entire spine, and body in the best of health. I love that they have equipment that is backed by real science. It's like no other chiropractic experience I have had in the past, and I have been seeing chiropractors as needed for over 3 decades. Dr. Newman and staff are just the kindest and most compassionate people. The atmosphere there is one of peace and calm. Dr. Newman evaluated me and came up with a plan to work on fixing my spine, including resetting my atlas vertebrae. The results were immediately noticeable and motivated me to stay on track through the entire 12 week process. I can't express how much it helped me. I sleep through the night now. As someone else stated they first start with stim and heat, then massage and stretching, and finally adjustment. I do admit that at some points it is a little painful/uncomfortable, but there is purpose and afterwards this combination my body feels way better that just a simple adjustment. A visit takes about a full hour. 2. As others have also mentioned that this place does not need regular visits to be a patient 3. They are pretty flexible with same day appointments if they have a open availability - you do not need to make appointments weeks ahead 4. They are doing some construction, it is the tiniest bit messy, but they are doing it to make the practice better and there never are construction noises during a session 5. Dr. Tony does have a very cute, quiet, and friendly dog. She comes up to me and asks me to play. If you decide you don't want to play she doesn't beg and just walks away. This is a huge plus for me being a dog lover. I feel they must clean up after her pretty often because it never smells like dog nor there is fur everywhere. 6. Dr. Tony is very easy to talk to.
