Ted (Dr. please!!) first put me on decompression machines to pull and relieve my spine. Second week was my first manipulation which was spectacular. I never knew my neck could crack like that! When I asked for clarification, the responses felt vague (e.g., "muscle strain" or "tension") and did not provide a clear understanding of what was actually occurring. After seeking a second opinion, another chiropractor was able to perform an X-ray and provide a more detailed diagnosis in one visit than I received after three sessions at your office. Additionally, during my last visit I waited approximately 20 minutes before the massage therapist entered, and the treatment was performed on the opposite side of my body from where the injury was located. At that point I needed to leave to return to my daughter and did not have time to address it in the moment. I am also unclear about the $50 deposit I paid. I was told my insurance covered the sessions and that the $50 went toward a balance, but I was never informed what that balance was or provided with a receipt. They are super sketchy and evasive when talking about payments. Do not recommend.

After my appointment, I was checking out and was THEN told that I actually owed an additional $100 for x-rays (without being notified of this in advance, and even though it fell within the 90-minute appointment time frame), and an additional $85 for the adjustment (this was not included in the original conversation). I was not told of these additional costs before they were administered during the appointment, and was not told in advance either, so it was quite an unpleasant shock to be charged more than double what I'd already paid in advance, after receiving the notion that I was pre-paying for the full 90-minutes as I was told on the phone. A greater sense of transparency, clarity, and communication would have been great, since my experience was lovely until the very end, when I then felt swindled and icky leaving the office. Just a heads up for anyone who may be price sensitive or whose insurance or health plan covers a limited amount of money for the year for chiropractic services, as mine does. You may wish to "shop around" for places with complimentary consultations, and price per appointment that are lower.
