Perfect? No. Good? Yes. I got the R7 with the Ultegra DI2 groupset. I asked for an 11-32 cassette. I got an 11-28. Turns out that's all they had. Like many cycling retailers, they are having trouble getting stuff. Okay, not their fault. I asked for carbon handlebars. I got alloy ones. This was their mistake, but Sean made it right. The "David" person mentioned in many of the bad reviews is apparently no longer with the company. I talked to Sean, and he was always helpful and never rude or unprofessional. He does seem overworked, though. I think he's trying to handle a lot by himself. As for the bike itself, I'm very happy with it. The Ultegra DI2 rides like a dream. There are lighter bikes out there, but it comes in under 17 lb. For $3500 for an Ultegra DI2 bike with carbon handlebars and wheels, I've got no complaints. One last suggestion. If you order your bike online, make sure you call and talk to Sean if you have any special requests. There seems to be a disconnect between the sales team and the people who build the bikes. read more

I've purchased two bikes from them over the years, going back to when they only had an Ebay Store and had no problems. However, I wanted to change a freehub for a wheelset from a former bike of theirs and was given one that didn't fit (twice - after being charged an added fee for a replacement). The salesperson/manager David is the absolute worst. He's arrogant, dismissive and is a jerk - when it comes to customer service. My bike shop also said he wasn't helpful. When I called to resolve this and get a refund, he told me to "go to hell and that I bought cheap bikes from them, which is why I have the problem and I don't know what I'm doing." I would like to say buy a Stradalli - they are good bikes for the money, but stay as far away from David as you can - he's the worst! read more

Buyer beware. This is a borderline criminal organization. I returned two unused stems and paid for shipping, and they lied and said one was damaged without even being able to describe the damage. They wouldn't even refund my money for the other stem, and offered store credit. Then wouldn't honor their store credit. Stealing $200. On the phone, they are polite but don't answer questions and recommend emailing. Via email, their customer service rep doesn't know how to form sentences and spell, and writes you as "u" etc. I bought an expensive bike from these guys, and this is the resulting treatment. They have no record of the specs of my bike, no ability to track their orders, and zero integrity. Literally the worst possible place to buy a bike. Avoid at all costs! read more

Worst bicycle buying experience ever. When I first contacted Stradalli, I spoke with Sean Scully both on the phone and email. I asked him if they could cut the steerer tube to a certain length and he replied "Sure, no problem. Just remember that there is a $350.00 build fee." I found out later that the build fee is only mentioned on their warranty page along with another disclaimer that their frames have a 180 pound weight limit. This is the only company I know of that charges a build fee. Any other retailer includes the fee into the asking price. Sean said that they build their bikes from "scratch." He would not elaborate on what that meant only to say that it takes them 5-6 hours to build one which translates to about $60-$70 per hour which is far more than any other shop I have done business with. So the bike arrives in a plain brown box pretty well packed until I see that the fork brace is shattered and the fork is loose inside the frame and I find a scratch on the steerer tube that they claim is a "molding line." The bike came with white handle bar tape and I had asked for red. I contacted Sean and all he said was "I'll have to check inventory" and never replied back. Then I was introduced to their new General Manager, Jim, who told me that all their "basic" bikes come with white tape and I would have to pay $10 to have red tape. There is nothing in their listing which says this. Also, the picture of the bike on their site shows it with black tape. Their website has not been updated since 2019. Jim also told me that Sean is "The best they have." The steerer tube was not cut as per my request and Jim said that they do not do that because "Too many customers complain that their stem is too low." Yet Sean said it would be no problem. The wheels were sent completely deflated which is a no-no when shipping wheels. Partially inflated wheels protect the rim far better from impacts. Jim said that FedEx shipping regulations prohibit inflated wheels. I contacted 3 FedEx shipping outlets and their home office and they said that there is no such regulation except that they cannot be filled with hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, or any type of gas. Sean claimed that they hand build the Vision Team 25 wheel sets. When I contacted Vision and gave them the serial numbers they said that Vision builds all of their wheels and that these wheels were 6 years old. When I confronted Sean with this info he said that the Rep. from Vision "Doesn't know their account." Further research proved that statement to be false. I asked Jim to send a picture of all of their un-built wheels and he refused. They also sent the wrong size and style seat post. I had to buy a $6 shim to make it work. Their listing shows a single bolt clamp and I received a 2 bolt. Being a home mechanic for over 50 years and worked in a bike shop for 9 years I was able to cut the steerer tube to my liking and true the wheels as they were out of true by 5mm, which would cost at least $25 at a shop. I find it odd that their new GM also uses the CEO's email address (Tom Steinbacher) and does not have his own. I have tried to contact Mr. Steinbacher several times but he is never available. The bike itself is nice. The customer service is beyond horrible. They do not respond to emails. I had to ask twice for the tracking number which I received 2 days after the bike was shipped. They are unprofessional on the phone. I have purchased 12 bikes in my life, both online and in store. There are far better stores than this one. read more

I ordered a saddle that showed as in stock. When it didn't arrive 10 days after I purchased it, I reached out to the shop and they told me that the order had been cancelled (even though I never received any cancellation notice. I place another order for the saddle, which showed as available, but when I tried to confirm my order I was told it was backordered for months even though it still shows as available on the site. I presume my first orders as cancelled due to the backordered status, which would have prompted any reputable business to (1) contact the customer and (2) update the site. Hi everyone, I have never done this before but I have never been treated so bad in my life. I had my eye on the Stradalli TT R8. I saved up for a long time for it. I purchased this bike and could not wait to get it. When it finally arrived I found a paint chip in the forks and a scratch in the frame. I thought to myself ok, I can live with that stuff happens. Then I found that they had sent me the wrong bearing. When I called them about the bearing they said that they build over 5,000 bikes and never had a problem. That I should take it to a real bike shop. I told them that it had a paint chip and a scratch in the frame all they said was "oh, well we are really sorry about that." I double checked the headset bearing and yes it was too big so I called them back. I told them that the bottom bearing was a 1.5. They said oh yes that is the wrong bearing. You can buy those at your local bike shop they are really cheap. I was taken back, I don't think I should have to go get my own bearing. A couple days later I took my frame, bars, forks, and bag of parts that they had given me to a race bike shop. That called and said that they can not put the bike together. The holes do not line up so the headset will not go on correctly. I called Stradalli back and talked to David who claimed that he was the general manager. His attitude from the start was terrible. He put the phone down almost immediately after answering the phone and yelled at someone in the background. I explained that I received the bike and found a chip in the paint and a scratch and he said "How do I know you didn't do it" or that it was not UPS. I told him that I didn't appreciate how I was treated by Jim over the phone the last couple of calls. He said with an attitude Jim in 71 years old, I could go slap him if you want or yell at him if that makes you feel better, maybe his wife has cancer or he didn't get laid I don't know. You need to file a claim using the claims email. I explained that I have never been treated like this. I have worked in the service department for several car lines and never treated a customer this bad. He interrupted me and yelled " you are going to get a new F@#king frame". As a hobbyist that loves diving headfirst into things that apparently cost a lot of money, my taking up the sport of cycling in'11 began with a hand-me-down bike and then a hand-me-down upgrade that didn't fit my benefactor as well as the first bike. Since then I've been riding the same carbon fiber bike with a few parts upgraded here/there and as needed given wear, tear, and preference. From the beginning I've had my eye on what goes into buying a new bike and have researched all of the options from the low $$$ end to the drool-worthy $$,$$$ end. In my years long process of hunting down gear options and reading up on who rides what, Stradalli has been popping up on the screen consistently - so much so I decided to reach out to ask about their bikes based on my needs, wants, and budget. Stephen and David were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had about individual components, specs, and which frame best suited me. So far service has been top notch and the process has been as easy and straightforward as any online purchase I've made requiring contact with the seller prior to shipment. Note that their listed prices are for un-assembled bikes but will assemble for a fee well within what any local bike shop would charge and then ship you the completed machine, as is the case with my order. Now I just have to wait it out staring at my busted old ride before I hit the road - either way I'll definitely update on any service changes for future purchases! read more

I'm posting a two star review for Stradalli Cycles because most people won't read a One-star review. I received a gorgeous frame from them, and after riding a few km, it showed signs of problems in the head tube. Once assembled, the bike steered like butter. I took the bike out for a spin around the parking lot, and everything felt great! I took the bike out for a real ride - and after about 8km, the fork was loose in the headtube. We snugged things up, and had the same result a few km later. After this, we replaced the headset with another - in case there was an issue with the headset... We got the same result. My mechanic measured with calipers and showed that the bearing retainer was out of round and "would never be tight or safe to ride." Stradalli's mechanic said "Everything is great!" On a workbench, my mechanic also thought everything was great - but once the bike is ridden, the headset shifts and then the fork begins to shimmy again.. Stradalli offered to sell me a new headset and for the "service" and I would also have to pay for return shipping of my defective frame. My frame was deemed unreturnable because it had been ridden. (To be fair to them, I also had to trim the seat post in order to be able to ride the bike) That's the problem with frames - you have to ride them to see if they feel good, or will stay together properly. My sales rep clearly had his "hands tied" by company policy, and I can honestly say he's been fine to work with. My issue is with company policy, and a clear intention to not have satisfied customers. I know that this bike (if it weren't defective) would have been excellent, and probably would have served me well for a long time. Unfortunately, it had a manufacturing defect, and Stradalli is unwilling to work with me. I've since replaced the frame with one from another manufacturer, and I couldn't be happier! Working with Stradalli is certainly at your own risk. You could end up with a perfectly great bike that rides amazing, or you could end up with a gorgeous machine that is un-ridable and unreturnable. Personally, it's not worth the headache. At least I'll probably never see my defective frame again - since I refused to pay to ship back a frame that will end up in the dumpster. read more

I was then told if I didn't like it I could return the bike and be charged a 19% "restocking fee." The bike was left at my front door by FedEx, without a signature, and the bike box was left upside down. Upon building the bike I discovered that the top tube was cracked. I contacted Stadalli, explained the situation, and was blamed by them for causing the damage ("there's no way we could have sent out a broken frame."). I have been getting jerked around by the entire staff ever since. I've filed a complaint against them through eBay and have contacted my financial institution to dispute the charge to my credit card. I was a bit hesitant before purchasing a Stradalli bike because I haven't heard much about them. I went to their store in Boulder and was able to throw a leg over their cx bike. I am super short so I was worried they wouldn't fit, but to my surprise they carry small sizes (I'm 5'4"). They were very nice and helpful, explained the different models, and even let me take it for a quick spin around the block. I bought the CX T700 and I have no complains. I've had the bike for several weeks and it's been great. It fits perfect and since I was able to customize the components to my needs, the bike is exactly what I wanted. read more

These people are full on lying shysters. I bought a "full XTR" bike from them. The add stated that the bike came with XTR components all the way through including rotors and cassette. The add stated that the bike came with FSA carbon bar and stem. Further, when I talked to the angry people at Stradalli - they promised to send 2 sets of tires - one set of Stans Crows and one set of Racing Ralphs. Well, when the bike showed up it had an XT cassette, DX rotors, cheap chinese aluminum bars and stem. No Stans tires. I called and let them know and they literally yelled at me. They made me feel like it was my fault and said if they had to send me the parts that I was due, that they would lose their jobs. Apparently the thought never crossed their minds that if they weren't lying liars who lie - that losing their jobs wouldn't be a topic of conversation. Don't trust these goons. Let me start by saying that I love the bike, R7 Disk. Why I rated the company so poorly is that the folks at Stradalli have very very bad customer service, a must if you're trying to sell $5k bikes over the internet, and based on my experience VERY poor mechanics. When I called to purchase the bike I spent less than 15 min on the phone and my only ask was that they ship asap as I had an event I was hoping to use the bike for. They said no problem. Two days go by and I do not hear back, call asking status and was told they would get back to me by the end of the day with a tracking number. End of day, no call or email. Call the next day and asked again, the person who helped seemed annoyed. I shared that it was someone at Stradalli that said they would provide by end of day, so please don't be upset with me. I finally receive a tracking number by the end of the day. When I received the bike there was no instructions / manual on the torque specs (the entire bike is carbon), no charger for the Di2 battery (was later told that they do not include a charger to help reduce the cost of the bike, and that I could probably purchase one for less than they could offer me on). The front tire tube was missing the valve internals, and the most egregious of all, THE CHAIN WAS THREADED OUTSIDE THE DERAILER CAGE PIN. As if that was not bad enough it became very clear that they did not do any tuning at all because when I started to tune the rear derailer it shifted INTO the spokes!!! One would think that a company trying to sell a high-end product over the internet would ensure that they took care of the basics really well given the difficulty for the customer to rectify any issues. If I purchased at my LBS I could easily bring it back, but what am I supposed to do, ship it back?? So one might imagine that the folks at Stradalli would be appalled at the shoddy job someone did when building / packaging my bike but NO their only response was, the mechanic must have been busy!!!!!! How these guys stay in business is beyond me. Anyway if you're looking to spend $5k on a bike I would suggest that you look elsewhere. read more

There is this one guy on that must guard the phones, and he keeps on answering, he is the biggest A-Hole. Each time I ask for Mark (the guy who sold me the bike, great guy by the way), and this phone answering guy, well all he does is act like he's God and won't let me talk to Mark. Then there is also the fact that I tried to get extra spokes to fix my carbon Stradalli wheels (my fault, not the wheels fault), and the guy I talked to basically blew me off. But like I said, it's not all hate, and I have to give props where it is due, and overall I love the bike. It has been good to me is more than I expected for the price I paid. I spoke to David, the co-owner, and he tried to sell me something different but they did not have the size I wanted. I asked to cancel the order. He then said he will have to charge me restocking fee and I quote " I have to charge you 19% because I boxed the other bike up and placed a tshirt in it" I replied NO, I want a full refund because You guys made a mistake and further, the bike frame has not left your store. How can I be charged for your mistake with my order and restocking fee for an item that is still in house. David was unprofessional and irate then said fine, I would refund you and put the phone down. The next day I did not see any refund so I called to see what's happening, David came on the phone and said he has to charge me a restocking fee. I was absolutely shocked. I told David that I have been extremely patient and I expect him to fulfill our prior agreement. He put the phone down on me. These guys are absolutely the worst business in Pompano Beach. Horrible!! Seriously avoid Stradalli at all cost. I recently purchased a pair of carbon bars. it turns out the reach is more than I realized doe the frame I am building and I need a compact. I emailed "Tom" who I believe is the owner/founder and included my number in the email to call me back. Well Tom called me back and what a total and complete a hole!! He basically started yelling at me the customer when I simply wanted to get a pair of compact bars instead. This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life and it was by the owner himself. It was really so strange that I'm thinking the guy must be bipolar. Anyways he didn't help me at all. I won't ever do business with his garbage company again. If he was 1/2 of a descent human being he would have realized he could have earned my teams business next season when we were going to be looking for new carbon bikes for all our riders. I had previously purchased 2 bikes (Road and TT) with Stradalli in 2014, and was happy with the service as well as the product. This year I decided to buy a new frame since I had extra components and build another road bike. From the beginning I had nothing but problems. I live in a rural area and don't receive postal service, so I have a P.O. Box. I was told they could not take my order because my shipping address and billing address didn't match (this was not a problem last year). So I went online changed my billing address with my CC company for 20 minutes and placed my order. Next after placing my order, I never received a FEDEX tracking number. I emailed the service address, no answer. So I called 2 days after my email. I was asssured they would send an email with the tracking number. Several days later no email (yes I checked my junk folder on both occassions). I then called. The person who answered was rude gave no expanation and said he would send the tracking number. Minutes later he sent my receipt. No tracking number. I called again and was told if I didn't want the frame, I could send it back. Really??? I replaced my first carbon bike with a Stradalli and at first was super happy. Once I had a problem which needed warranty work they used every excuse to make the problem somebody else's fault. Now after my wheel is fixed it is now being held hostage since I refuse to pay for parts and labor. Inferior material and bad customer service: Bought a carbon fiber handlebar that cracked when my local bike store installed it at 4.2 nm (recommended 5nm!). I filed a claim and sent back the handlebar "for inspection". Never heard back from them, neer received a refund. Instead they filed a claim with ebay that the handlebar wasn't returned in its original condition (duh!). That way I couldn't leave any critical feedback on ebay, neither could I get my money back. Very sneaky. Selling inferior quality, then screwing you on the refund. Now I have no handlebar and no money. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM VIA EBAY. You won't be able to get your money back through Ebay nor Paypal. Or just don't buy anything from them at all. read more

Terrible attitude, terrible costumer service. I regret buying a bike from them. They told me it was in good condition as it was used a couple of times for photo shoot. I guess I was excited for getting a new bike but after the first 50 milles the handlebar broke. They told I had to claim the warranty to Zipp (as the handlebar was a Zipp) but Zipp didn't cover the warranty. I couldn't fine the serial number on the hundlebar. Also, the wheel spokes got loose really fast. Don't trust a brand that puts girls in bikini for their advertisements. I am concern about the bike, I don't care about girls in bike. I am 6'0 and 185 pounds and purchased an 56 cm Stradalli Aero7 frame with shimano DI for $3400 on 10/11/16. The price was about $2,000 less than the Specialized, Orbea and Cervello I was shopping for (There is a catch - as "you get what you pay for" is totally applicable in this case). In early April 2017, I took the bike for a six month tune up at my local bike shop. To my surprise, the bike shop called me saying the frame was cracked (see attached photos) and I shouldn't ride anymore. I called Stradalli, and forwarded the pictures expecting a new frame. Again, to my surprise, Stradalli said there was no warranty since at 185 pounds, I was 5 (2.6% variance) pounds over the warranty limit of 180 pounds, as described in the warranty page of the Stradalli website. I replied that was really disingenuous since at the time of sale on 10/11/2017 nothing was mentioned or implied with respect of weight restrictions/ limitations. I further explained that I have been riding two 10-year-old + carbon frames (Cervello P3 & Felt B2) and both are in great condition. Lastly, I pointed out that most male riders purchasing a 56-cm frame would be at or over 180 pounds. After one month exchanging emails and calls, Stradalli offered the exact same frames (56 cm Aero7 -Yes this is the frame that shouldn't be ridden by riders over 180 pounds) for $475 plus $200 shipping. I tried to reason and explain that it made no sense as it would not be safe for me to continuing riding the Aero7. I refused Stradalli irresponsible and absurd offer. If you are an existing customer and weigh more than 180 pounds - please be careful as I am sure you were never told about weight restrictions. If you contemplating a Stradalli and weight more than 180 pounds look at the pictures again. read more

This company is terrible. They stole from me by accepting my money for a Salarno road bike, which then broke within 4 months, and then they refused to honor the warranty. The carbon (expensive) wheels broke, and the carbon frame cracked. I am an experienced and serious racer of 10 years, and I have never had a problem with other brand names - Bianchi, Trek, Litespeed - products or customer service. Their customer service was rude and hostile, and they fabricated a reason (side impact - this never happened) to weasel out of their warranty. Others have received similar poor treatment. Check their Facebook account. Do not buy their lousy product. You will be sorry like myself and others. read more
