I used Klarity Audio for the Memorial Service/Celebration of Life for my husband of 20 years. The…read moreguy-Jonathan as polite at first but was completely enept, slow, and unprofessional. When confronted on the fact that I did not get what I paid for -Jonathan took no responsibility, in fact he was extremely rude, defensive and downright mean- he mocked me and blamed me for every aspect of the service he was not able to provide. Its not like this was for a Birthday or Holiday party- it was for my husband's funeral. Its not an event that you can do again- one time event that I barely needed any equipment for. It was a very small event- about 50 people and the AV equipment/services I needed was minimal. It should have been a simple, easy Sound job. I wanted 2 mics, equipment for my friend to be able to plug in her guitar, and I wanted to show a tribute video. I made the mistake of paying Jonathan in full prior to the service. Which was dumb of me to do-I was beside myself with grief-and I just wanted things to go smoothly. The service I got was ridiculously bad. First off- the tribute video was not able be viewed - but this was out of Klarity Audio's control so I am NOT including that at all in my complaint. Which is the same thing I said to Jonathan who is Klarity Audio. If the video was the only thing that went wrong I wouldn't be writing this duty to warn yelp review. Jonathan lost his phone or something prior to the service so all of the text communication I had with him he suddenly did not have on the day of the service- the text correspondence where I provided specific details about the time for set up, equipment needs, and any details as far as planning... He just winged it guess. Writing things down would have been too much work. There was 1.5 hours planned for set up time for the service to start at 1pm. The sweet friend the Singer/guitar player was there by noon and asked Jonathan several times to do a sound check. But he didn't even begin to set up the mixer until 1:15, and then it didn't pick up her guitar (which is new- in perfectly good working order ). The service wasn't able to start until 1:45! I had rented a rec hall in a city park and we only had the space space until 3:30, we had to be completely cleaned up and out by then or I would lose my $500 deposit. I had informed Jonathan of this ahead of time. He didn't care. Klarity Audio's claim to fame is that Jonathan has nice speakers. But if you put a wall of speakers behind the microphone and amp -not gonna sound great to say the least. Isn't that the very definition of FEEDBACK? I am not an Audiovisual expert or anything- that's why I hired one. And it was a god damn funeral- not a concert or a house party so why would I need speakers meant for one? Total overkill and tacky. And then nothing worked lke it was supposed to. This made my husband's Memorial service extremely stressful and very rushed because it had to start so late. It was a very difficult day for me. I shouldn't have had to worry about the Sound . I paid someone to do it-and it went Very Badly. He sure cleaned up and got out of there quickly at the end though. When I asked for a refund for half of what I paid him ( half of $360) -he laughed at me. Then he blamed me for all of the things that went wrong. Keep in mind my husband just died. This kid couldn't care less. I can back all of this up with text messages/emails. Talk to a supervisor? There is none. Its just Jonathan. He did end up refunding me $50 about a week later.

We do business with Klarity Audio once a month sometimes more and he's always the easiest to work with. These speakers sound better than Funktion 1 I'll tell you that right now! -Service -Quality -Good Technology ***** 5 Stars

Susan was very responsive over yelp messaging and tony who I spoke with over the phone was very thorough in explaining the options to me. I'd like to put in a good word for Tony! He really took his time in making sure I had all my questions answered and I think the different speakers they offer are great! My initial inquiry was for speakers for music for a wedding and I got some awesome photos to my email to help guide my decision! See attached. One thing I learned was that speakers themselves may not be enough if you want to have a nice wedding music DJ instead, but for me I think I'd like my own playlist and don't think we will have a club vibe for the reception.

Specifically a super bright projector that could show a film in full, glorious 1080p. I'm talking massive 12 foot by 9 foot screen! After shopping around to 6 or 7 different rental companies who, quite frankly, sounded like they couldn't care less, I gave these guys a call. They worked with me on the rate for a couple different options and really spent the time to get me acquainted with the equipment that we'd be using. They really took the time to make sure that everything would go off without issue, but Susan the owner did offer a rate for a professional to come with me and do everything, which it sounds like most people do. Overall very friendly, accomodating, equipment is top of the line and in great condition, and the pick-up drop-off process was easy; that pretty much covers the typical pain points of event rentals right? Thanks for helping make our event awesome!

They were so amazing!! Atmosphere Events are hands down the best! They provide high quality lighting, logo lighting, spotlights and special effects that completely change the atmosphere of an event venue. The initial DJ we worked with since the begining at Atmosphere abruptly quit the company three weeks before our wedding leaving me anxious and nervous but Eric jumped in and made such an unforgetable experience. We had all of our guest requeat a song via our RSVP's and submitted the eclectic list and Erick, our DJ, definitely did not disappoint. Eric customized his set especially for us and it felt personalized. All our guests were excited when the song they requested played (as he even played even the non-mainstram, indie songs!!). When most wedding DJs seem to be sharing the same basic '70s, '80s and 90's hits playlist, Eric blew us away! Our dance floor was full all night and we got compliments from our guests. Erik made our wedding a blast! I definitely recommend him and Atmosphere Events!

Bad Communication…read more sent friend across town after negotiating a price through Facebook Marketplace, only to discover that the agreed price somehow magically transformed back into the original listing price the moment it was time to pay. The listing was $339. I offered $280. The seller countered at $298 and explicitly stated, "298 is the lowest I can go for the FLX4." Fair enough. That's called negotiating. I accepted the understanding that the item would be sold for $298. I then asked for the address and business hours, which were provided. At no point during any of these conversations did anyone say, "By the way, the negotiated price does not include tax," or "there will be additional card processing fees." When my friend arrived to pick up the item, suddenly tax and card fees appeared out of nowhere. The final total landed right back around $339, which just so happened to be the exact original Marketplace listing price. Maybe that's a coincidence. Maybe the stars aligned perfectly. Maybe after negotiating from $339 to $298, adding tax and fees just happened to bring the price right back to where it started. From a customer's perspective, it felt like a classic bait-and-switch. The negotiated discount existed only until it was time to actually pay. What made the experience worse was the attitude when I called to clarify the situation. Instead of acknowledging how misleading the pricing appeared, I was met with a lecture about how famous the store is and how they've been around since the 1990s. Respectfully, how long a business has existed has nothing to do with whether pricing was communicated clearly. A business that's been operating for decades should be even better at disclosing final costs upfront. The product itself may be fine. The issue is transparency. If the real total is going to be significantly higher than the negotiated number, disclose that before someone makes plans, sends a friend, or drives to the store. Clear communication prevents bad reviews. Unfortunately, clear communication was exactly what was missing here.
