DJ Richard did not arrive to set up until 7:20 pm and didn't actually start playing music until about 7:40 pm. Guests arrived at 7 as instructed and there was no music to entertain them. Once he did set up the dinner had begun and I kept thinking of things to tell him. To my suprise my DJ was gone. Everytime I looked up for about an hour the DJ was gone, with tiny 2-3 minute intervals of actually being there, in the entire hour I would say he was there for about ten minutes.I had announcements that I wanted him to make but he was not there! Everytime I asked people if they had seen the DJ, the men in my party told me that he was in the bathroom. So finally I go stand outside the bathroom because I about had enough and he says that he is going to the bathroom a lot because his back hurts. But that excuse didn't explain why he was sweating profusely, licking his gums, acting strange, etc etc. I also complained that the playlist that he left running in his absence had NONE of the songs I had emailed him previous to the event. I wanted beatles, old school MJ, and country and instead was listening to Bob Marley. After I confronted him, he totally stepped it up and did a good job the rest of the night. He kept asking me if I needed anything, and checked in with me frequently. He stopped disappearing, and stayed at his DJ booth. At the end of the night I had a good time and he ended up playing good music, but for 600.00 I expected better service. He is lucky that I am a pretty laid back client

My wife told me she had seen them at city events, concerts and at Spanish clubs she's a professional dancing instructor. And she was honer to have them at our wedding. It was a surprise gift for her. Pricing was perfect. He wasn't only a DJ he was a coordinator he made everything run so smooth. That me and my wife were behind an hour that he told us not to worry about it. He made our party run perfect and made it seem nothing even accord. Our guest was so amazed by our wedding. That they said it was perfect and nice. Eventz By Sol made my wedding what it was from the very start. It started before the actual day of…read morethe event. Fernando was very knowledgable in advising us about the way the event should go. Hey told us what lighting would look good, how the first dance should go, when to make the speeches. With Fernando you are not only getting a DJ and an MC your also kind of getting a wedding planner as well. Driving up to the wedding was better than even Fernando described it would look like. The lighting that Fernando set up just made everything POP. We did arrive late to our venue but no one would have ever known. Fernando just made everything run very smoothly and made everything flow very well. He kept us on schedule and more importantly everyone had a blast. My favorite part is how Fernando got everyone up to dance. At other events I have been to I think that is one of the hardest things to do. You see a few couples get up to dance but never the whole crowd and that is what Fernando. He made everyone stand up, asked who could be the loudest table, then after everyone was pumped up he said "we'll since your all standing up get out on the dance floor and start dancing." I don't think that was a direct quote but it went something like that. After that comment you just saw people all swarmed to the dance floor. This wedding was EPIC because of Fernando. There are pictures posted up of the venue with the lighting. The Lopez wedding.

Her extensive industry experience and enthusiasm for sound make her the worry-free choice. Rates are reasonable and service is exceptional. No matter the atmosphere you're aiming for, this girl's got it! My wish was her command; which is exactly how it should be when you're THE BRIDE. :) While planning our wedding two months ago, we stressed about our DJ choice and music selections more than any other detail. The DJ becomes the voice of your big day, and their sound is essential to setting a mood. Brooke's experience saved us any worry as she thoughtfully planned the timeline of our event and took it to another level with a couple creative suggestions along the way. And, not necessarily, we found her to be beautiful, friendly, and sincerely passionate about her role. We enjoy seeing her in the background of so many photos looking over our experience with concern and entertaining our guests with grace. Brooke is wonderful to work with! 5 STARS!!!!!

Absolute worst "DJ" that I have ever encountered in my life. He charged my client to "officiate"…read moretheir Wedding and he wasn't even ORDAINED -- ABSOLUTE FRAUD. He did not marry them correctly on the biggest day of their life and it was a huge huge embarrassment.. He ended the ceremony without them even saying "I do" or exchanging rings. When it came time to "DJ", he had none of their music prepared and had nothing downloaded. Not only was his DJ equipment not working, He kept having to play music from his iphone but here's the real kicker, he didn't even have an AUX cable and had to put the microphone to his phone. It sounded terrible and it put my couple into tears. It was a HUGE HUGE embarrassment and the level of disrespect he showed me when I confronted him the Ceremony was UNREAL. He talked down to me profusely and when I offered him a plate of Food, he threw it directly in the trash -- A $25 plate of Salmon, all in the trash. I would never ever in a million years recommend "Dj Funn aka Dj Johnny Olson" he was the most unprofessional and disrespectful FRAUD I have ever met. I pray that he never hires him again because he is not worth your time or money. I would give him a ZERO star rating if I could.
