She was just as excited for us to get married as we were! One of the highlights of Doralee's exceptional work was how much of a hit she was with our attendees! We had so many guests come up to us the night of the wedding and in the days after complimenting her playlist and skills on the turntables. We wanted a diverse set of music--from 70s disco to modern dance--and as a result there was always a song playing that someone on the dance floor loved. It was a broad request for a DJ to deliver on, but Doralee nailed it. I might be biased, but I've never seen a dance floor stay as active and lively as ours did, and she played a massive role in making that happen. Doralee was also in charge of handling all of the cues and background music for the ceremony, which was spectacular in its own right. Even though she hadn't worked at our chosen venue before, she handled the setup and logistics with class and ensured the little details were taken care of. Again, it made our wedding-day stress levels that much lower and provided such a beautiful ambience to an already beautiful day. Like most cases, I think success heavily depends on communication and Christian always responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. He definitely met that expectation with great song selections, solid mixing (not abrupt stop/play or non-beat matched transitions.. one of my DJ pet peeves), and professional MCing (not cheesy) that helped lead the party along the planned timeline.
