The paperwork was not the reason you failed to render services as it was the easiest part (you only needed to provide basic business information. I will happily add a picture of the paperwork from the venue to another update if you try me). You stopped effectively communicating about 2 weeks before the wedding. You failed to provide proof of food handlers card and proof of liability insurance- all things that you were aware of far in advance when you did the venue walk through with the site coordinator at least 5 months before wedding date. I even considered getting the liability insurance on your behalf but you would have still needed the food handlers card., which you were unable to provide a copy of. You instead provided a receipt that you paid for it but no proof that you had a current one. I will happily include pictures of our Facebook conversation, if your response is a rewrite of what actually happened. And you are right, I said that I would work with you on repaying me back but you ran me in circles for about a year before you said you would send me under $100 out of $1400 and would not commit to a repayment schedule. You took advantage of my kindness and as soon as I became more firm in asking for repayment, you blocked me. I will happily include pictures of our Facebook conversation if you try me. Because yes, I printed the entire Facebook conversation before you blocked me. So let's wrap this up with some facts: You are cruel. You are a thief. You are a liar. They were so amazing!! Atmosphere Events are hands down the best! They provide high quality lighting, logo lighting, spotlights and special effects that completely change the atmosphere of an event venue. The initial DJ we worked with since the begining at Atmosphere abruptly quit the company three weeks before our wedding leaving me anxious and nervous but Eric jumped in and made such an unforgetable experience. We had all of our guest requeat a song via our RSVP's and submitted the eclectic list and Erick, our DJ, definitely did not disappoint. Eric customized his set especially for us and it felt personalized. All our guests were excited when the song they requested played (as he even played even the non-mainstram, indie songs!!). When most wedding DJs seem to be sharing the same basic '70s, '80s and 90's hits playlist, Eric blew us away! Our dance floor was full all night and we got compliments from our guests. Bad Communication…read more sent friend across town after negotiating a price through Facebook Marketplace, only to discover that the agreed price somehow magically transformed back into the original listing price the moment it was time to pay. The listing was $339. I offered $280. The seller countered at $298 and explicitly stated, "298 is the lowest I can go for the FLX4." Fair enough. That's called negotiating. I accepted the understanding that the item would be sold for $298. I then asked for the address and business hours, which were provided. At no point during any of these conversations did anyone say, "By the way, the negotiated price does not include tax," or "there will be additional card processing fees." When my friend arrived to pick up the item, suddenly tax and card fees appeared out of nowhere. The final total landed right back around $339, which just so happened to be the exact original Marketplace listing price. Maybe that's a coincidence. Maybe the stars aligned perfectly. Maybe after negotiating from $339 to $298, adding tax and fees just happened to bring the price right back to where it started. From a customer's perspective, it felt like a classic bait-and-switch. The negotiated discount existed only until it was time to actually pay. What made the experience worse was the attitude when I called to clarify the situation. Instead of acknowledging how misleading the pricing appeared, I was met with a lecture about how famous the store is and how they've been around since the 1990s. Respectfully, how long a business has existed has nothing to do with whether pricing was communicated clearly. A business that's been operating for decades should be even better at disclosing final costs upfront. The product itself may be fine. The issue is transparency. If the real total is going to be significantly higher than the negotiated number, disclose that before someone makes plans, sends a friend, or drives to the store. Clear communication prevents bad reviews. Unfortunately, clear communication was exactly what was missing here.

It was a pleasure communicating with him leading up to the event, and on the day-of-show we ended up ahead of schedule by the time we finished sound check - which is always a plus - and a testament to Tony's preparedness and familiarity with the gear he provides. After our sound check, Tony made sure all cables were cleanly run and hidden along the edges of the stage and properly gaff taped for safety and aesthetics - a professional touch that makes all the difference IMO. The equipment Tony provided was perfect for what we needed (a powered full-range PA system with dual subwoofers, floor monitors, and a full-sized weighted digital keyboard) and was all in perfectly-maintained, like-new condition. Tony cares about details, and it shows! When the show started, we discovered a buzzing issue that needed troubleshooting in between sets (turned out to be a bad cable) - and it was solved in a timely manner by all involved. Tony swapped the cable out in a flash. He also had a creative gear solution during sound check for my drummer's in-ear monitor feed, and even helped my backup singer rig up an iPhone clip on her microphone stand for lyrics to a few last-minute songs we decided to perform that night. I would be very happy to work with Tony again. We had a great experience. Hiring sound production for an event like this is as much about the personnel as it is about the equipment!
