    Blackened Walleye Tacos

Really solid food at this pub! They have a large selection of beers on tap, cans and bottles as well. Huge bar also means a wide selection of mixed drinks, including seasonal cocktails and menu items. They have plenty of seating options, and large areas ideal for big parties. Tons of TVs all over the place, as well as pull tabs available to play. Our food was good, the walleye tacos were delicious, a little zing to them and the chips were thin and crispy. Our burgers were good, we both thought our double patties were a tad dry, but the toppings definitely brought the flavor, especially that goat cheese. They have a large menu, tons of appetizers, burgers, salads and other entrees. The service was just fine, no complaints there at all. Overall it was a good dining experience, and we would definitely go back there.

He Said: I came here with friends to watch a TWolves game. I was really happy with the food, alcohol, and overall experience. The interior is spacious and has a big center bar. Multiple TVs envelop the restaurant (great for watching a sports game). The best part is, Stout's runs a happy hour everyday. I had discounted nachos, and they were great. I had a discounted beer, too. Portions are huge and the quality is good. Our waiter was nice, too.

I met some friends here for the first time and had a great experience. The restaurant itself is comfortable and has a nice ambiancevand the service was excellent and attentive. We had a few different items and were happy with all of them. For an appetizer we started with the cheese curds (tasty) the fried green beans (very good) and our favorite...the Cauliflower Wings! We LOVED those! For entrees we had the Fried Chicken Sandwich (tasty with a crispy chicken breast and a soft bun), Supreme Flatbread (tasty), and the fish and chips (very nice pieces of fish and crispy chips). It was a very nice place and great quality food! My mom went back with my sister a week later because she wanted to try more from the menu :)

Enjoy this stop for happy hour. Fun cocktails and great selection of local beer. Happy hour specials include $3 off apps and pizza, $2 off cocktails and beer, and $1 off other drinks. Tried the cauliflower wings and the Thai chicken flatbread. Loved the cauliflower, just enough crunch, but not overly breaded amd heavy. The Thai chicken was ok, not sure if I'd get again. Our server was fast and attentive.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for some appetizers and were pleasantly surprised. The pub has the perfect in between feel. You could go for a nice evening out, or a casual lunch/appetizer date on a Wednesday afternoon like we did. We sat down and were greeted immediately by the bartender, Ben. He was definitely our style. He didn't bother us while we were eating or talking but was always aware in case we needed something. All we had to do was look his direction and he was on it. If we did want to talk he was all about it. I love staff who are able to read the energy and match it! We obviously had to order Cajun Dry-Rub Wings and Cheese Curds. If we weren't having a great time already, these sealed the deal. The wings were REALLY good. I've had a lot of bar wings and these are definitely up there. The curds too...Wow. I also decided to have a Blue Mule cocktail and it was incredible. I am not a fan of drinks that taste like the alcohol they contain. I didn't have that problem at Stout's. Another bonus? They give you a little mug filled with extra crispy potato chips. That's my type of place. It's not like they have much competition because it was really the only food place we could find nearby, but even if it wasn't this is where we'd want to be.

We had a large group and the service was great, our waitress was polite and very attentive. I had the Fish & Chips and it was nice to see they use Walleye instead of Cod. Wish I wasn't working so I could have tried some of their drinks, maybe next time.

What is the TV situation like for watching sports? Does Stout's show any/all NFL games?

I know they have sports on several tv's. You would need to check with them about specific games.

I tried the cab sauv and the red blend and both were just terribleee and I could not finish them the vodka cran i had was heavy on ice and vodka loll but it wasn't bad! Fun games in the bar which is exactly what I like to see. Went on a Thursday and it was a mix of people and a nice flow of people coming in. The bathrooms leave a little to be desired as well so try to go before you leave the house? Typical bar grime. Thought this exit sign without the word exit was funny, in the back hallway with the restrooms

I understand theft unfortunately does happen and that businesses have to protect themselves. My issue is not with the existence of a policy -- it is with the way it was communicated and enforced toward my family and me. I was invited out by family to celebrate, eat, and play darts. We intended to spend time there for a while. I arrived later than the rest of my family, and by the time I arrived they already had drinks, appetizers, and food ordered. A staff member who identified himself as Tyler appeared to be the server assisting our table. I asked if we could move to a larger table near the back of the restaurant that had enough seating for our group. While moving tables, I also attempted to place my food order. Shortly after, Tyler approached the table asking how the food was and then immediately asked, "How is everyone going to pay?" At that point, I was confused because a tab should've clearly already been opened considering drinks, appetizers, and the food had already been ordered. I was then specifically asked for payment before even receiving my food, which felt very unusual and uncomfortable. At that moment, Tyler also appeared confused about how to separate the checks and who was paying for what. Once he returned with the separated bills, I calmly asked whether this was standard policy and procedure for the restaurant. He responded that it was due to having so many "walk outs." I was unfamiliar with that term initially, but once it was explained, the interaction left a very negative feeling with me. It felt as though the actions of other customers were being projected onto us. Again, the issue was never about the payment. The issue was the approach, tone, and overall lack of consideration for how customers may feel when they are immediately treated with suspicion. My family and I drove approximately 25 minutes to visit this establishment expecting to enjoy ourselves, only to leave feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As the interaction continued, I explained multiple times that I understood the policy itself but did not agree with how it was being implemented. Tyler continued attempting to argue and explain after I had already asked him several times to stop speaking to me and to give me space. During this entire interaction, management was visibly present onsite, yet no one intervened or attempted to de-escalate the situation. After receiving payments from parts of our table, Tyler gathered with other staff members near the kitchen area where it was obvious the situation was being discussed. During that time, several staff members stared and glared toward our table, which only added to the discomfort and embarrassment of the experience. Later, once my food finally arrived, I began putting condiments such as salt and pepper on my meal. My hands were full of food when Tyler once again approached me asking for payment while I was actively eating. This felt extremely inappropriate considering payment had already been collected from most of the table and there had been ongoing conversations about the checks already being separated. After receiving my payment, Tyler stated, "Just know this policy isn't going to change. It will be the same if you come back again." I responded that we did not plan on returning to the establishment. As he walked away, he made additional smart remarks including "good," and sarcastically gestured toward management saying, "My manager is right over there." At no point did management approach our table to address the situation, despite their server engaging in repeated back-and-forth confrontations with customers on three separate occasions. This experience was disappointing, uncomfortable, and completely unnecessary. Policies can absolutely be enforced without making customers feel profiled, targeted, or unwelcome. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests do not leave feeling the same way my family and I did.

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us right away and asked if we preferred the bar or dining side and we chose the dining area. Not long after, our server Jordyn stopped by to take care of us. We ordered everything at once, starting with the Szechuan green beans and pizza fries, along with three different kinds of wings: garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and smoky ranch. It took a little while for the food to come out, but once it did, it was well worth the wait. The wings were loaded with flavor, and I really liked that they served whole wings instead of just flats or drummies. The booths were comfortable and roomy, and the big screen TVs made it easy to keep up with the college football games. Between the great service, flavorful food, and relaxed atmosphere, we were more than happy with our visit. Parking was also easy, and since the place is tucked away a bit, it feels like a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
