We headed inside this fun pub. It was lively there were multiple games going on, so it was loud and crazy . We ordered a pizza however they called the Wisconsin pizza, which is basically a cracker with toppings . It was a no Bueno for us . But the bar itself was fun. The service was. I think you really go there to watch a game and drink the beer

Hot Chocolate at the Bryant Park Winterfest

On a freezing winter morning, we found ourselves at the Winterfest, weaving through all manner of humanity crowded in between the booths and the tables in Bryant Park. I got a hankering for hot chocolate as we happened by the Stout NYC booth. One hot chocolate coming up. Steaming hot, with whipped cream on top, it was the perfect balance of sweet, creamy goodness to counter the bone-chilling atmosphere of the day. Kudos to Stout for getting out the hots for those of us brave enough to wade through Winterfest. See you next year!

Stout NYC delivered exactly what I didn't know I needed: a massive pretzel, a cold craft beer, and live music that--surprisingly--outshined the professional stage at Bryant Park. No offense to the park, but the band at Stout had heart and better acoustics. Let's talk pretzel. It was enormous. Fluffy, golden, perfectly cooked through, and warm enough to feel like it had just left the oven. Paired with mustard, it was everything you want from a bar snack--carby, salty, and more satisfying than it had any business being. Honestly, if this pretzel had a fan club, I'd sign up. The beer menu was well-curated, with plenty of craft options, and the vibe? Low-lit, relaxed, and unpretentious. A refreshing mix of locals and post-work wanderers, all just looking for a good pint and a better-than-expected bite. In short: Stout NYC knows how to set the tone. Great snacks, great beer, and live music that might just make you skip the scheduled concert across the street. A perfect stop if you're looking for something easy, warm, and genuinely good.

Went to Stout after a work event. Love that the kitchen stays open late (1-2am) and that's a good selection of beers. The food we order with the steak sandwich, pretzel, chicken finger, potstickers, and hot honey pizza. The steak sandwich was cooked good and tastes good. The pretzel was fresh. The potsticker with the Korean beef was my favorite. The pizza was good but not worth the $18. Tons of TVs so you can watch the games from practically anywhere. The service was good but a bit slow. A large bar that gets crowded during games (especially the Knicks and Rangers)

A serviceable sports bar with many beers on tap and many TVs and high top tables to watch football on Sunday. They had the Jets games upstairs and the Giants games downstairs. A lot of beer is needed to support either of these teams. Former Jets running back Leon Washington was signing autographs, which was an unexpected treat. The staff was very gracious in bringing our food and beer downstairs to watch the Giants game. The loaded fries were stacked. The apple tart hit the spot.

Stout NYC (right next to MSG) Just when you thought game night couldn't get any better... I dove into their Loaded Street Fries and WOW. Crispy fries piled high with tender beef birria, ooey-gooey Monterey Jack & sharp cheddar, zippy cherry peppers, tangy pickled red onions, and a drizzle of lime crema that ties it all together perfectly. Every bite = And those Buffalo Wings? Absolutely next-level. Crisp skin, juicy inside, and that signature buffalo sauce has the perfect balance of heat and flavor. I may never order wings anywhere else again. But wait--there's more. Their Individual Wisconsin-Style Thin Crust Pizza is a revelation. Think ultra-thin, cracker-crisp crust loaded with melty cheese, tangy sauce, and just the right amount of everything. It's NYC comfort food at its finest. Whether you're catching a game or just craving epic bar eats, Stout NYC is a slam dunk. #StoutNYC #LoadedFries #BeefBirria #BuffaloWings #ThinCrustPizza #MSGEats #NYCFoodie #GameDayGrub #FoodieInTheBigApple2025

This place was cool great music great vibes. Awesome place to watch the game! The servers were very attentive and friendly at the bar. The stout burger was ok. I enjoyed the chipotle mayo they had on the side im not into sauces but this one was pretty good. The fries were cooked to perfection however my burger had a big patch of sea salt on one end of the patty it wasn't evenly disbursed. I asked for medium well but it was a bit more on the well done side. This spot is cool for burning sometime before any event in the area. I'll probably return for a redemption dish and a good time because the vibe was definitely there.

Had a great time at Stout NY, close to MSG! Friendly staff, good vibes, and perfect spot before the game. Definitely recommend to friends!

The food and drinks were great! I got their margarita flight, one of their blackberry mint cocktails (I forgot the name of it) and a few different beers. The food takes some time to come out but it was all worth the wait! It's definitely a great place to watch a game, get a few drinks, etc. I'd say it's friendly to couples, friends, and families (all sorts of groups were there)! I 10000% recommend the dumplings as an appetizer, so good.

Go know, this is a chain! With Penn Station a block away, Stout is a good place to hang before catching your train. My daughter, husband and I were seated in a comfy banquette towards what I thought was the rear of the bar. Wrong! Stout is huge and extends out. A great place to host a private party. I had an unremarkable bloody Mary (which I don't recommend). T drank a couple of beers. (They've got a big selection!) My daughter ordered a watermelon fruse and salad. The salad had an overload of kale, a bit tough. But the chicken was good. Everything definitely pricy. I welcomed our brief repast. After kissing good-bye, S turned left, T and I turned right ... and we all got on with our day.

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
