Only stopped in for a quick glass of wine, didn't stay long but the food smelled delicious & the vibe inside seemed nice.

Harry's Nachos and Crispy Calamari

Made a reservation for a night before the Ranger game and thank god I did bc it was a packed house. However we were sat in the small high top that we had to play like Tetris to make all of our drinks and plates fit. It took a while for me to get water since my friend was there first he was able to get this drinks in. The crispy calamari was not crispy at all as it was drowned in the sweet chili sauce. Nachos were okay did appreciate that the pico and guacamole came on the side as we asked for Jalapeños to be on the side. Towards the end we were feeling a bit rushed to turn over the table so we left to another bar. We still had about another 1.5 til puck drop.

The drinks came fast. But the calamari was under cooked. It came out too fast. The burger was good. The service was good they checked on you. The ambience was a fun sports bar! Went before the game cool atmosphere.

I hadn't been here in years!! We came before the Knicks game for a little pregame, what a fucking time! Electric environment, everyone was going wild. The steak nachos were the best I ever had. It was legit steak on there. I actually loved it! Joselyn our server was fantastic. Request her if you ever go. She's amazing. What a time. LFG KNICKS!!!

Great spot before a game or show! Perfect location if you're heading to MSG. The sliders were delicious and the drinks hit the spot--refreshing and just right. Definitely a solid choice for a pre-event bite and sip!

The food is not amazing but pretty solid. Good location. Drinks prices are standard but the prices for the food are very reasonable. They also have happy hour. Good place to go if you are in the area.

Outstanding Bourbon selection

An add on to my previous review....felt obligated to mention the lamb chop appetizer.... By far my favorite item on the menu. Service is excellent. Outstanding MSG pregame location. Reservations are recommended on busy MSG evenings. Good mix of local employees seeking a cocktail and a snack mixed in with the MSG crowds. The location does a great job decorating for Christmas.

Catching up with an old coworker and she suggested this place as she's a regular here for games since it's right by the garden. From the outside it doesn't look that spacious but once inside it's huge and they have a upper level as well. By the time I got there happy hour was over (till 5PM). We sat in the back area and was greeted right away by our waitress who was very attentive during our time. I had the wings with their mustang sticky sauce which I liked and the hanger steak tacos which was ok. Drinks were really good! We were treated to a very rich chocolate lava cake which I recommend sharing since it's huge. They also have a large selection of wines, beers and drinks. For a Tuesday the place was busy and the owner was out and about. Overall, I had a good time.

Delicious steak nachos.

Great bar. Nice decor and spacious. I brought my husband here for an afternoon date. The service is top notch, but the food is amazing. My favorite dish is the steak nachos. Definitely would come back.

This place was PACKED but somehow managed to get a table for 8 people. The passion fruit martini was great and the sliders hit the spot.

Food and drinks 10/10, service 10/10, and a good vibe inside to dine with a group of friends in NYC. I especially loved the garlic parm fries and the brussels sprouts that I substituted alongside my grilled cheese! Will be returning to this spot, it was lovely.

Had a nightcap here after dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The bar was buzzing without feeling packed - exactly what you want for a casual evening drink. While the two-person bar team meant occasional waits for service, our bartender Ulia was an absolute delight. Her friendly personality and genuine warmth more than made up for any delays. Classic NYC sports bar vibe, lively yet comfortable

Mustang Harry's is the perfect spot to hit up before a Knicks game at MSG. It's an easy walk to the arena, making it super convenient. The food was good - a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in Midtown, and it's still half the price of what you'd pay for food and drinks inside MSG. It's a smart decision not have a happy hour here because $ is basically guaranteed before any MSG event...but quality of food sure goes down with the amount of customers...Great atmosphere and a solid choice for pre-game eats.

It definitely has the vibe of a speakeasy, especially with the jazz band playing. We went with the brunch special which is $35 for bottomless drinks with the purchase of an entree. It pays off if you're having more than 2 drinks and we made sure we did! Bloody Mary's were excellent! The food here was outstanding. I had the 3 Eggs Any Style and my wife had the Breakfast Flatbread. Those dishes as well as our friends were well made and delicious. If you're headed to a play or just in the area, I'd recommend stopping here to eat, drink or both!

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

Warm lighting, good energy, and a chill crowd make it an easy place to hang whether you're starting your night or winding it down. One of the best parts is the menu. It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

Food is good, service was great. Management is horrible…read more I have been frequenting this restaurant for a long time. I noticed recently that there was a $2 transaction fee added to my bill. This was not a credit card fee (that I can understand). It is a "transaction fee" that is applied to all invoices. Are you kidding me! I have no trouble paying a an extra dollar for a burger. But if you try to rip me off by sneaking in extra charges, I will never come back. You just lost a regular customer over a $2 charge.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
