I haven't wrote a review on yelp in a while but I had to for this one. As someone just getting into road cycling, finding the right bike--especially in my size--was proving to be a real challenge. I'm so glad I found Stotts Bicycles. Not only did they have the Cervelo Caledonia I was after, but the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. Howard took the time to carefully build the bike for me and we had a great chat swapping old bike stories. His knowledge and passion for cycling were clear, and he gave me some excellent advice as a newcomer to the sport. He customized the bike for my specific fit. Thank you! I told him I'm gonna learn to get better even going all out and getting the clipless pedals. Jase was super helpful in getting me set up with a pair of shoes and the Shimano PD-R700 105 pedals, and Nick rounded out the experience by recommending the ABUS GameChanger helmet--which fits and looks great. Overall, I spend a pretty penny there that day. But hey I treated myself and Nick hooked me up with the shoes. The whole team made me feel welcome and supported. This is my LBS ( local bike shop). I've been other places not going to mention names, but I have a 12 year old Stumpy and other places were pushing me oh it's time to get a new bike; not here, this guys looked at my bike, went to work and serviced my bike. I'm back on the mountains with it. On that note because of this I was kind of in a market for a new bike so guess what I did get a new bike as well, 2 of them in fact because of the customer service and an AMAZING deal . I just have to express my deepest appreciation to the guy's working there @StottsBicycles!! I am from out of town currently Living at one of Noho's T-Houses...The only mode of transportation I have is my Cannondale Suntour trail 6 mountain bike. The hydraulic brake system on my bike had Leaked fluid while transporting in a friends SUV. I had removed the back tire and squeezed the back break leaking the fluid...in short, I had no back breaks.I had went to two other bike shops which both told me that they would have to keep the bike for a day or two to fix it...one shop even told me that they may have to make a special order in order to fix it...Stotts was my last chance at fixing my brake system because i had an appt. W/ my case worker...when i brought my bike in they quoted me a much more decent price...so i left my bike in good hands while i went to an ATM to pay for their service...needless to say, when I returned (which was literally 5-8 min) i was surprised to see that the young man who serviced my bike had already had it ready for me...at first i thought he couldn't do it do to a stripped screw...as he explained what the problem was and that he had fixed it i was more than happy to pay him for his service because of the danger of riding in Burbank with no back brake..as i asked him how much i owed him...God Bless this young man..he told me "no worries, I cant charge you, it was an easy fix"...Now this is the type of business practice that you do not see anymore. This is the type of business practice that just earned a customer for Life. I'm proud to call this my local bike shop. They're usually well stocked and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll gladly look into ordering it for you. The staff is great and makes you feel right at home. I've witnessed customers come in with cycling emergencies from flats to drivetrain issues and they've sorted them out as promptly as they could, time allowing. You'd be surprised how often other shops may turn you down or leave you on your own to figure things out. That especially sucks for someone who may not have bike knowledge to fix certain things. Not here, you're in good hands. On top of the selection on hand, the prices are reasonable and fair. They've got high end to mid range to entry level. There's something for everybody. I am not at all happy with the customer service I just received at Stotts bicycles today which was no service at all, and it was so disturbing I need to make this public. I went to Stotts with a complaint about a repair done wrong by one of their techs which caused me to have an unexpected tire blow-out in a remote area, and also was previously advised by their online AI CHATBOT that the store would have a complimentary inner tube waiting for me. At the store, I advised the owner and techs of what this chatbot had told me, where is my comp inner tube and all I got was blank stares. Further, the owner then proceeded to verbally attack me for suggesting that one of their techs had done a repair incorrectly and he was so aggressive in berating me I had to take a few deep breaths to calm myself. I could have ratcheted up my response to his abusive behavior but I could see this was not a good idea as I was in HIS store, his CAVE. He did give me a complimentary inner tube no apology, no nothing. This shocking confrontation with the abusive owner of this retail store left me so shaken that everyone out there needs to be warned. This probably will not happen to you if you're buying some $6000 gravel bike which needs an adjustment, but if you're in there for some small bicycle repair and you're not happy, this could be the result. read more

I came in on Father's Day to air up my tires and buy a pump, and left with a far superior brand new bike, new lock, and never looked back. In fact I liked my bike and experience so much, I convinced my fiance he also needed a bike, so now we are bike people. The owner went above and beyond to help me find the right bike, when I wasn't sold on the color options available for the bike I wanted, he found a box in the back, assembled it on the spot for me to test out, and I basically couldn't say no. Even though I felt like a really difficult customer taking up so much of his time, I truly appreciated the extra care he took. I brought my knee scooter that I transition into a seated scooter in. They don't sell these but they knew how to help me fix some of the issues. I needed an adjustment. While I was there - a buy brought in a broken bike with a lot of issues, missing spokes, bent frame and brake issues. They helped him select one of their refurbished bikes that was LESS than the cost to repair the one he brought in. They didn't try to gouge the guy. Credit will be given where it is due. These guys more than deserve it. I just got a road bike and wanted to upgrade it to Shimano 105 r7000. Even though I am somewhat experienced in cycling, I do not know how to wire up components and make a bicycle tuneup. Before I brought my bike to have it fully repaired, I bought several parts from them, like a DT-Swiss R460 Wheel that came with a Shimano 105 axle and free hub, as well as combo levers, and brakes. When I brought the bike with everything attached for them to wire it up, as well as install a front derailleur, front crankset, chain, and some bar tape, they replied promptly, put a work order in, and the bike was ready to pick up the next day. Aside from that, all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and diligent. In particular, the two guys who helped me, Mike and Chase at Stotts Bikes, were extremely helpful and very friendly. The value for money is definitely there, and if you give them business, you're helping out the economy, as well as supporting a small business. If the price difference between them and a vendor like Amazon is relatively small, give them the business. These guys deserve it. read more

And I found Stotts Bicycles online. Call them, they told me to come in and they will fix it. As soon as I got there, there were other customers inside. They still took my bike, waited for 15 mins.
